The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Spanish food

It’s clean, but very dated. We’re in a back room in the third floor and it’s tiny. In my opinion, it should be for a single bed not double. No where to hangs coats or out your bags. My box room at home isn’t much smaller this. I had to take this from the bathroom and I thought I’d open the curtains for some light, and the blinking thing fell down. Way too small.

We were looking forward to visiting as it is a new venture in my local town with highly rated reviews. I was very disappointed!!! Me and my friend had a table for two by the door. We were pleasantly welcomed. The server recommended two dishes each. The meals where very small even for a tapas or fine dining . The tikka dish was bland. The mushroom dish was oily. The steak and duck dishes were cooked perfectly, however the portion sizes were far too small. Over priced for small bland meals. And the front door was left open which may become an issue in the depths of winter..... Sad to say but we left hungry, and ended up eating a meal at another restaurant in town.

Came here for Xmas drinks with staff last night and couldn’t believe how poorly we were treated by this military like head barman. He really was very unpleasant. We were a mixed group of men and women and we ordered a round of drinks for circa £100. One of the ladies did not like the way they over spiced her cocktail so politely asked for something else. The head barman, who wasn’t even serving us, got involved and very angrily started waving his hands around as if we were trying it on - we weren’t. We then sat outside and for our next round we popped in to the neighbouring bar to get this lady the cocktail she wanted and we also purchased more drinks from both bars. The barman brought security over and demanded we left because we were drinking a drink that wasn’t purchased from their bar - but we were drinking 7 other drinks that were , vs two drinks that weren’t - so if we apply this rule , we were not allowed to sit in either bar ! So I agreed to then go in to his bar and purchased another round for £110 , which I believed was our negotiation to allow her to remain at our table , but of course , as soon as we had purchased it, he tried to throw us out again and then got two security guards involved to do so. We then left as I he was literally. Shouting at us “ go spend your money in their bar, we don’t care if you don’t spend it in here “. Seriously, what ??? It was almost laughable. We remained completely calm throughout the interaction but this guy was like a man possessed. Suggest you consider appointing a new bar manager because this guy is dreadful.

Restaurant catastrophique,les portions servies sont ridicules,les prix paraissent abordables parce que ils servent des demis portions.nous sommes allés dans un supermarché pour finir le repas...tout ça pour la somme de 91 pounds ....une honte

Overall we had a nice meal here and the food feels authentic. However, I would say that even for tapas portions, the portion sizes were quite small. We had to send back the manchego cheeses as there was mould on one piece of cheese that shouldn't have been there. This was replaced but I'd rather have had the cost knocked off the bill and the dish returned. The service was quite slow to get going, our first tapas dishes came out one at at time with big gaps, we needed to remind them about our olives not being delivered.

Came to have lunch then go round the garden centre. The choice is varied, the portions are not small (by Tapas standards). The service was friendly and professional. The food was superb, full of Mediterranean flavours, garlic, peppers, onion, tomato . All in all a very enjoyable experience, will definitely be coming back.

Had a fabulous Christmas meal for my work team today. Well presented, hot and very tasty. The replacement provided for the mince pies was lovely and very much appreciated. The panettone black forest trifle was also scrummy!! Definitely recommend to friends and colleagues.

This is probably one of the worst meals I ever had - lasagne with focaccia! The bread looked like it had been deep fat fried - the oil was dripping from it. The lasagne had no layers of pasta and practically no meat. Seriously disgusting! The mistake on my part was that I didn't take any pics of the meal.

Went here three times with my girlfriend for special occassions, with the second visit introducing ridiculous 45-minute waiting times. The third visit however was met with a very RAW beef burger, so raw that it could have been mistaken for the local livestock. Similarly, we found the provided glasses on the table to appear stained and dirty, not really what you expect from the premium you attend here for. Then, the chap next to us ordered a pepperoni pizza but received somebody elses mushroom/olive? pizza. Stunned by the whole situation we were unfortunately forgot to take a picture to share of the raw burger, and instead looked for resolution. The manager handled it well, we were given a small replacement burger with a complimentary drink which my girlfriend unfortunately was not able to eat much of due to having just eaten raw mince. But thankfully, once the bill came we requested for the burger to be taken off which was begrudingly honored by the staff. This would have nearly been a 1-star review if it weren't for the staff on duty honoring the refund with compliments as they should. However, this still ruined our night and we wont be coming back. Overall, the place is nice but falls apart when it comes to quality of food and service. It has fallen from a place I highly recommended, to a place I warn others to stay clear of.

We had a wonderful birthday meal here. The food was delicious - particularly the tomato bread, mixed paella, and the churros. The service was friendly and attentive, despite it being very busy. Special shout out to the man I think was the manager, who gave my Dad a specific sherry he wanted (that brought back memories of trips to Barcelona), despite it not being on the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Se visiti la Sagrata Familia non può non mangiare qui. Locale simpatico, tipico, cucina locale eccezionale, servizio decisamente cortese (Andrea è stata gentilissima).
