Came to have lunch then go round the garden centre. The choice is varied, the portions are not small (by Tapas standards). The service was friendly and professional. The food was superb, full of Mediterranean flavours, garlic, peppers, onion, tomato . All in all a very enjoyable experience, will definitely be coming back.

We arrived and the staff seemed friendly. They gave us menus but not a kids one despite us having a small child with us. We requested the kids menu and sat at a table. We were served quickly and everything seemed good at this point. However, it went downhill from here. My friend ordered the Serrano ham sandwich which was described as: ‘Serrano Ham Sandwich with Piquillo Peppers, Manchego and Aioli’ when it arrived it was a cheap burger bun with Serrano ham and garlic mayo only. She called the waitress over and asked where the other fillings were and it was taken away and brought back with grated Parmesan chucked on. I ordered the med veg sandwich which was described as being: ‘Courgette, Aubergines and Peppers - Paprika Mayo’ which again was served on a cheap burger bun and had different veg than as described (including sliced raw carrots) that was smothered in a tomato sauce and not paprika mayo. We ordered a child’s meal that came out nearly 15 minutes after our meals. We went into the restaurant twice to find out what was going on and both times the waitress was rude and dismissive. Eventually the meal came and it was disgusting. The ‘chicken goujons’ were greasy and over cooked. The chicken inside was grey. In fairness they did take the child’s meal off the menu but we would definitely not recommend this restaurant. It’s a shame as it has a lot of potential.

We visited with friends for lunch. We were given a friendly greeting and were quickly served drinks. They serve a good pint of Cruz campo. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. We all ordered the meatball sandwich. Meatballs were very dry, the sauce was sparingly added and it was served with a side of undercooked pale fries and a side salad which was fine. The bread it was served on was nice and fresh but the filling was really poor. The kids wanted egg having seen a big picture of an egg on the children’s menu. Despite there being a picture of an egg, there was none on offer. They settled for sausage which wasn’t of great quality. The “crunchy veg sticks” was actually a side salad of chopped tomato and cucumber. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, especially for small places like this. I did speak to the staff about the kids side salad but after taking 10mins to bring some sweetcorn instead I settled for what, disappointed, and decided to never return.

Good food, especially the Chorizo and patatas bravas. Nice, warm restaurant on a dreary January evening, friendly staff.

Some great dishes here and you really get your hit of Spanish food. Good location on Trentham. Quite a few staff kids running around (post 8pm on a school night) which detracted a little but will assume was a "one off"

Today we visited this establishment in the hope of getting a coffee and maybe something to eat. Unfortunately, we decided to leave as we had been there 15 minutes and not even had a menu. Now whilst this doesn't seem like a long time while visiting a busy restaurant where the staff are rushed off their feet, in this case there were only a few people inside and the same outside some of whom had already been served. The staff in general gave the appearance of being a combination of docile and disinterested, strolling around at the speed of tortoises (hence the title!) Eventually the final straw came when the waitress who greeted us upon entry served someone who'd came in after us. At this point we left.

Walked in, asked if we could just have coffee at 2 30 on a Saturday afternoon. We were sitted outside. No menu. Waited and waited. Others came in and were served before us. Ended up leaving thirsty. Waitresses were milling around, totally disorganised and uninterested in serving. Surprised anyone had managed to get served with anything!

This place needs to work out what it is trying to do. The service was very poor. 3 very young girls on Friday t of house with very little Interest in customer service. If you want something you needed to call them over, there is no interest to ensure you are well catered for. The food is very mixed. It is not a good example of Spanish cuisine. The calimari was tiny. The pescado Frito is poor, the rocket salad is basically just rocket. The albondigas and Gambas Al ajillo was very good though. As someone with a Spanish family I appreciate we can be overly critical but if you are going to promote yourself as a Spanish restaurant then do the research. This music and atmosphere was good, and this place had the opportunity to be great but it needs investment into better ingredients and recipes to be more authentic and better value for money

This was my first time trying here and only my second time having tapas. The service was excellent, two different waitresses helped us during our meal and both were really friendly and helpful. The food arrived very quickly and was lovely. It was quite quiet when we arrived but as the evening progressed it became busier and there was live music so a slightly different atmosphere. Although it became busy, we didn’t feel rushed I will definitely return to try more from the menu and would recommend it to others.

On a visit to Trentham Gardens decided to pop in for a bite. All i can say is it was underwhelming so may try again just to see if it was a one off.

After the Xmas with Trentham my husband and I fancied a bite to eat. And came across this restaurant so gave it a go. The restaurant is spaced out so you don’t feel on top of each other. It is modern minimalistic decor tastefully designed. There were at least 4 different staff we saw and all were very friendly and helpful. We hadn’t booked as it was a spur in the moment decision. Although they were busy and many tables were booked they managed to squeeze the two of us in. Service was quick as our drinks and food arrived in no time at all. We ordered 7 different meals between the two of us to share. This was plenty and all very very tasty. The only very slight negative was the table seemed to small to accommodate everything but it’s only a minor thing. The food was piping hot and really was a delicious change. We will definitely revisit and I highly recommend to Spanish food lovers. Thank you for such a lovely end to our evening x

Called in today for a lunch , usually I have a morning Cappuchino and delicious teacake but today went for a Cappuchino and Cheese and onion toasty which was delicious! Came with an ample pot of Coleslaw and salad Lovely Crusty bread, I also had a "small" glass of the House Ros which was one of the nicest I have tasted and fully complemented the meal.

The service was very poor. We gave up waiting for a dessert menu, and explained that's why we were leaving, but the person who took payment just smiled! Two of us are gluten free, no problems with cross contamination. However, the salad bowl was very overpriced and the salmon was very pale and lacking taste. There is no point in eating out, if I can make something that simple better myself.

Typical Costa food and drink but the service was not typical – it was terrible. Only one oven saw the wait for hot food being excessive and the way of working means that there is no way to ensure the correct order was taken by the correct person. One guy seemed to be waiting for ages and when my order (2 x Cumberland Sausage Toasties) was placed on the counter, he thought it may have been his. When I told him what I had, he mentioned that he had been waiting 15 minutes and still his order had not arrived. The Barista hearing this, checked and discovered that the order had been fulfilled but “someone must have picked it up in error”. Whilst the offer of replacement was quick, no offer of more coffee was made as the initial cups were either finished or cold. Take a tip from Starbucks – see how they handle queuing. As for the food. Just the same old Costa offerings.
