What a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Lincoln , took my brother for his birthday , the food was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection , we all went for the set menu sharing platter for 4 people and can honestly say it was worth the money and ample amount of food for us all . The staff were attentive and friendly, the owner even gave my brother a birthday present which was a really nice touch . We will visit again soon

Was visiting the university for an open day and decided to give this place a try. Nice, clean, modern but authentic looking restaurant. Great food choices, great service, lovely food. Would definitely recommend.

Visitó Ole Ole durante un viaje reciente a Lincoln basado en opiniones anteriores. Nos dieron la bienvenida y nos mostraron a nuestra mesa rápidamente. Pedido una buena selección de 6 platos de tapas y una botella de rosado. Desafortunadamente mi esposa no pudo comer varios de los platos que pedimos debido al abrumador contenido de sal. Esto realmente tomó el relevo de lo que probablemente eran platos realmente sabrosos. Las bravas de papa, las brochetas de pollo y los platos con una fuente a base de tomate fueron los peores. Se lo comentamos a la camarera cuando vino a preguntarnos si la comida era de nuestro agrado, que lamentablemente no lo era. En realidad no podía comerlo. La joven camarera debe haber mencionado esto y el hijo de los gerentes vino entonces a disculparse. Dijo que había escuchado esto antes y nos ofreció un descuento de £ 10 en la factura total. Desafortunadamente no me apresuraba a volver, lo cual es una pena, ya que el lugar estaba lleno de comensales felices, el personal estaba trabajando incansablemente para servir los platos tan pronto como estaban listos y todo el restaurante tenía una sensación realmente encantadora. Lo siento, pero muy decepcionado.

We have been coming to Ole Ole since it was on the Bailgate with a tiny kitchen. Not having been for sometime as we have moved from Lincoln, we were a little disappointed at how rapidly ALL the food arrived at our table, meaning that some had started to cool by the time we were eating it. A delay on the plates arriving allows for the food to be eaten hot and to be honest there were five of us on a table for six and we were struggling somewhat for space when so much arrived together. Despite this, we had an enjoyable meal with family and food as always, delicious.

Great authentic tasting food, busy and plenty of atmosphere on a Thursday @ 9/00pm. Helpful and friendly staff. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed

Excellent tapas and great, quick service. Good value for money we too. A large range of GF options, although I think we had some sort of cross contamination as my wife who is coeliac was glutened there, so recommend being careful when ordering.

We recently enjoyed a couple of nights in Lincoln and chose Ole Ole for dinner on one night. Great place. Warm welcome, delicious Tapas and great service. Complimentary Caramel Vodka shot was a surprise at the end of our meal, delicious. We left with full tummies to the cheer of an "Ole". Great night, thank you.

From booking to bill it was simply lovely. Great atmosphere, super service and divine food and drinks. The stand out was the amazing service. Super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly (but not overly so).

Food and service were both exceptional. We were met on arrival by the host and made to feel welcome immediately. The food was served quickly by the obviously well trained and friendly staff. When it came the food was very tasty and up there with the best tapas we have had, even in Spain. We are not from Lincoln but we will defo make an effort to return to Ole Ole for another meal. Family recently had lunch at Ole Ole as part of a wedding celebration for my Son and Daughter in Law. The food was fantastic the service excellent and it was a fabulous place to eat and enjoy great food. I would definitely visit again if we were in Lincoln - its highly recommended - and the toilet facilities were very clean as well! Well done Ole Ole brillaint.

We chose the set Menu A at £27.50 per person. Starter of 4 pieces of bread, handful of breadsticks, 6 slices of cheese, 6 slices of ham with a bowl of green olives and garlic dip - yummy. The main course consisted of : 1. Paella Mixta - paella with chicken and seafood 2. Coliflor al Horno - oven Baked Cauliflower in southern Spanish spices, topped with a Quince syrup and roasted almonds 3. Patatas Bravas - diced, fried potatoes topped with a chilli and tomato sauce 4. Pollo a la Riojana - slow cooked chicken stew with chorizo, rioja wine, onion and garlic 5. Estofado - traditional Braised beef, vegetable and potato stew 6. Croquetas de Pollo - homemade chicken croquettes 7. Pescado Adobado Frito - marinated and fried fillets of fish 8. Dátiles con Bacon - dates stuffed with almond, wrapped in bacon. We were served by 2 tables of 4 to make up the 8 people. Really lovely and tasty food BUT .... £110.00 for 4 people was extremely overpriced and the dishes were TINY! We had one of each of the main course dishes served in a breakfast sized bowl, just enough to fill one plate each - so 4 medium sized plates of food for £110.00, which I feel was very extortionate for the amount of food that was provided. It might have been better value to have had ordered each dish separately. It would only have cost £87.85 for both starter and main courses. I dare say the portion sizes might even have been a bit bigger too and covered 4 people! Even if the 4 of us chose 3 tapas dishes each, the bill would still not have come to £110.00 for the food! Overall a very nice place but not sure I will return for a set menu meal again.

What an absolutely marvellous restaurant. Had the best Spanish food I have had outside of Spain. Luis was a fabulous host and the overall service was top notch. The warm cheesecake was a delightful way to finish off our lunch. We will most definitely seek this restaurant out on our next visit to Lincoln. What a gem. Oh and by the way, my wife was blown over by the olives.

We went on Good Friday evening without a booking and it was great. Friendly attentive staff and great food. We chose around 7 dishes between 2 and it beat us! went for some that we wouldn't normally pick to see what they were like and didn't regret it! Dates wrapped in bacon and the rabbit stew were lovely! Reasonable prices as well, all that plus a bottle of wine for less than £90.

We had some excellent food at this great restaurant, it was already busy when we arrived which was a good sign. The welcome was friendly and the place had a really nice atmosphere, lively yet relaxed. The food was great, service attentive and we had a lovely evening. Highly recommended

The food here was fantastic but we had a slight issue that spoiled it. We were a big group booked in but when we got there table was not ready for 45 mins. Plus, we were waiting alot for menus and to pay. The food was fantastic cant fault it and the staff were lovely and polite were were there for 3.5 hours

What a great place this is - everything about it was top notch from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere. Every bit of food we had was delicious - olives were really tasty and the croquetas al cabrales were like little mouthfuls of heaven and just the right texture! We were also really surprised how good the value was - we had bread, olives, a sharing board and 3 other tapas and 2 small red wines for about £58 for the 2 of us. We were stuffed - couldn't quite finish everything and were definitely too full for a dessert - although we did manage the free caramel vodka shot which was also lovely. It was really busy and we'd definitely recommend booking a table. The atmosphere was nicely 'buzzy' and did feel typically Spanish with the hum of conversation in the background. The frequent shouts of Ole from the kitchen followed by a customer echo was also great. We will absolutely be back to Ole Ole when we're next in Lincoln - looking forward to trying lunch.

Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Great location and venue. Easy parking and the restaurant is bright, clean and beautifully set out. Welcoming from the minute you walk in. The staff are cheery, friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Service was efficient and waiting time for food and drinks was perfect. The drink selection is superb. The Sangria was spot on and Mahou on draft is a treat. What can I say about the food, other than top draw. Great selection of dishes the cauliflower, Moroccan spiced chicken and chicken stew were stand outs for me. To finish off you get the choice of a homemade toffee vodka at the end. You can buy a bottle for £25. It’s really nice so we did. To top it off even though the restaurant was busy they remembered my daughter and that it was her birthday taking the time to have a chat. Best tapas I’ve had in this country and certainly worth paying a visit.

We were Tapas newbies so decided to give Ole Ole a try. Firstly, what a great place this is. Bright and very welcoming, lots of background chatter of people enjoying the experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose 4 tapas dishes and the obligatory bottle of wine to wash it down! We had a couple of chicken dishes, a pork dish and patatas bravas. The food was excellent, indeed if this is how Taas should be, the bar is set very high! The place is very busy, so I would advise people to book in advance because it would be a shame to miss out on Ole Ole.

We went early on a Friday evening and we just got a table as it was very popular and busy. We had fabulous tapas and the place was run with what seemed like effortless efficiency, highly recommend but would suggest booking to avoid disappointment.

Sometimes with tapas restaurants you have great food but tiny portions or bigger portions but lower quality. Ole Ole had both. Fantastic tasting and high quality dishes and great variety. Also brilliant service given it was one of the hottest days of the year.
