Lovely yummy pizza, good value, happy full up family! Would definitely order from here again if in the area.

Came off the train just before 8pm and asked if we could have table on Wednesday evening. No problem. We had great food and service, well presented. loos immaculate. However I do not like being asked for a tip on the bill - I prefer to give to the server direct

Been to this great restaurant a few times but last night ordered takeaway pizzas. They arrived spot on time still lovely and hot even though we live 5 or 6 miles away. They looked amazing with obvious care taken with the presentation especially the Matilda Rainbow lockdown winner! Both cooked to perfection with nice crispy bases and generous fresh toppings. Chips were good as well! Best home delivery supper ever.

Robertos has been a firm favourite since we moved to Cullompton a few years back. Every single time we have visited the restaurant or ordered their takeaway we have never been disappointed. I visited with a friend last night after telling her all about how incredible it was and she was blown away as well! The service and food here are both exceptional. All the staff are so friendly, chatty and helpful and the food is so delicious and freshly made! I would really recommend this beautiful delicious restaurant to everyone!

Words cannot express how highly I rate this restaurant. We visited whilst on Holiday, and driving past noticed it was open. We hadn’t booked and the waitress said unfortunately it was Wednesday, and they are closed apart from for a special table. She did however manage to fit us in, and the service inside was exceptional, and the pizza was amazing. This is only a small place but nothing was too trouble. The waitress as very chatty, and even the chef came out for a chat in between cooking.

I’m not somebody to write reviews, but this is a well deserved exception. We visited Roberto’s tonight (Monday) whilst we are staying locally on holiday. We hadn’t pre-booked a table, the restaurant was very busy but the lovely staff managed to fit us in. We were blown away by the friendliness of the staff, let alone the amazing quality of the food. The pizza and carbonara was to die for, the portions were very generous at such a low price! Thank you to all, we will definitely be returning on our next holiday!

My daughter and I went here on a week day and because of the reviews expected a good experience, how wrong we were.l waited 30 minutes for a cup of coffee,then they forgot about us as we waited another 20 minutes to order .the pizza was nice but my budget was very small and chewy with hardly any blue cheese on it, though it was accompanied by half a ton of limp and boring salad.we didn't order pudding as we had already been sat there for nearly two hours and my bottom had gone to sleep on the extremely hard and uncomfortable chairs. The whole experience wasn't helped by a large group of people with young children who didn't appear to have any manners and screamed and tantremed. their way through the whole meal ,when they weren't running around the small restaurant banging into chairs.the whole experience was a night mare never to be repeated again.l would highly recommend that they just concentrate on being a takeaway as that is all they cared about,as the diners were certainly treated as a nuisance compared to the takeaway, and it certainly explains the extremely long wait to order and the even longer wait for our food,as they were concentrating on the takeaway first when it should have been the other way round.unless you have a few hours to waste on second rate food and third rate service don't bother .the place could do with a coat of paint and a good clean,and lm not going into the bad stomach pains l had after eating there,they were good once but not anymore.

We visit Italy (pre covid) twice each year so reckon we know good pizza. We had takeaway from Roberto's during our holiday and it was the best we have ever had. So much so, I called in to say thank you - not done that before. The base was lovely and the toppings plentiful. We couldn't finish it so enjoyed the leftovers on the beach the next day..another 1st and just as delicious cold.

Come in for a meal tonight had a lovely chicken burger melt which was amazing portion size are amazing my husband had creamy chilli prawns with spaghetti once again amazing portion size staff are very friendly and happy

We were staying in the area for the last 3 nights of our holiday in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset and found this wonderful little restaurant. The owner kindly allowed our little dog in to the restaurant, which was so quaint and welcoming. The staff were attentive and efficient. I had the prawn pasta dish, which was outstanding and my other half had the chicken pizza, which was also fabulous. The owner was very informative. We wish them all the best for their next venture to open another B&B and restaurant over the road in a converted old pub.

We've been customers of Roberto's for a couple of years and have always enjoyed the food. After another amazing black &blue burger I felt compelled to write a review. As a former chef, I appreciate the challenges Rob and his team face working out of such a small kitchen and the quality of the food is a real testament to their hard work, dedication and ability. Firstly the pizzas, they are decent, good value and absolutely stacked with toppings, the pasta is nice also. We've had a Sunday roast delivered a couple of times, again, great value for money, great trimmings and delicious gravy. Lastly, the black and blue burger, soo good it's almost dreamy. It's messy, eat it over your chips and the delicious excess toppings and sauce 'load them up'. I know it is an amazing burger, but everytime I have it I am surprised at how good it is, you just have to try it. If you do, Like me, you may find yourself eating a burger from somewhere else and 'all poker faced,' be thinking about one of Robertos burgers. Congratulations Rob and team, you really are nailing it.

We had planned to visit Roberto’s in 2020 but booking was cancelled due to Covid. So on another trip to Devon we tried again and boy we were not disappointed. Eating with friends, the girls had lasagna, the boys calzone. Both wives said it was the best lasagna they’ve eaten in the UK. The side salad was presented in an iceberg lettuce Leah which we’d never seen before. The calzones were also amazing, packed with fillings. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Rob aka Roberto came from the kitchen to welcome us given positive comment about rebooking. Staff were attentive and they were doing a roaring trade in takeaways too. We come to this area quite regularly and will no doubt be back for a second helping.

We had a takeaway on Mothers Day and it was amazing! It arrived hot and on time. The food was delicious, I had the Prawn linguini and was really impressed with the amount of Prawns in the portion! My husband had the chicken pasta which was also very tasty. We both enjoyed the honeycomb cheesecake for pudding too. Always get delicious home cooked food from Roberto's, never disappointed! Thank you to everyone at the restaurant, exceptional service, we will be back soon!

The food overall was of a good quality. The desserts however let this down as I found multiple hairs & I would not pay for these again as they had lots of faults!

I had a delivery of 2 starters, a roast dinner, pizzas & a box of desserts. The food was packed full of flavours! The desserts were so light! And honestly it was wonderful, people may think I’m over exaggerating but honestly it truly was all the best I’ve ever had! Thank you so much Robertos, you’ve made my family’s night!

This restaurant tops all other Italians. The food and service is phenomenal. To then see you have teamed with aimees cakes (another amazing local business that I would also highly recommend ) will make valentines day all the more special. Will be booking in for a yummy roast as soon as we are able too

Lovely Roast Beef dinner delivered at specified time. Food nice and hot and delicious. Only downside was that the wife couldn't taste or smell due to Covid infection. Great value for money and friendly service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Ordered two pizzas on Friday night 1st was the Texan 2nd was the Chinese chicken both amazing plus chips with bacon and mozzarella and garlic bread can’t wait to come back again can’t get pizzas this good in Birmingham

We had a meal at Roberto’s tonight it was great. The staff were really friendly, the food was really great. Even the bread and oil were special. Great value too!

We booked a table here as we were staying nearby and wanted a family run restaurant, we were lucky that the eat in to eat out a offer was on and we managed to get a table. The staff were all very nice and accomadating and the food was out of this world. My children age 7 and 5 loved being there, we had the anti pasti for 2 which was more than enough for the 4 of us to start an amazing selection of cheese, meats olives and dips, tasty fresh food that got us all trying a bit of something we hadn't before! Our pizza's and the pasta my daughter had were all full of flavour, obviously a very talented chef. We travel and eat out alot, my 7 year old daughter asked if we can come every day and my son said its the best pizza he's ever eaten. We will definitely be back

This food is to die for, well trained staff and excellent food...... However, the woman who referred to herself as the "chefs wife" was extremely absent, very abrupt and it wouldn't hurt for her to brush up on some communication skills as to how she speaks to her customers, although this would not deter us from visiting again as the place is clean and the food was amazing and well worth the money.

We decided to get a pizza delivery for our dinner and thought we’d try Roberto’s. We were not disappointed at all. Lady on the phone was so polite, it was delivered in half hour and was so tasty!! Very impressed 😊

Roberto’s pizzas are the best! Loads of toppings so it’s difficult to eat a whole one (but I managed).The Texas pizza is excellent with very tender steak and an excellent choice. My wife had the Carbonara pizza which looked great but I wasn’t given the chance to try any! Obviously restaurant is closed at the moment but totally recommend for a takeaway delivery. Will definitely be ordering again soon.

Friendly staff always made to feel welcome . Eaten here a number of times and had deliverys throughout the lock down . Has always been quick service/delivery . And have tried many different pizzas and pastas have all been amazing . Highly recommend :)

We've eaten a few times at Roberto's now and also taken away on a couple of occasions. The food has always been beautiful. Our most recent visit was for their Sunday Roast. It was up there with the best roast dinners I've had. All food cooked to perfection and plentiful too. It's nice to have a local option for roast dinner after 3pm so we intend to use them often, especially as the food is just so good. The front of house staff are a credit to you also. I really hope in the not so distant future, you can find a way of speeding things up a little. That side of things hasn't changed since our fist visit a year ago and it has on occasion, made us think twice about booking simply because of the wait time. We found even with plenty of notice of when we would like to eat (pre-ordering roasts for example) that we were still waiting for too long. It's obvious that your kitchen facility is too small to cope with the demand. Keep churning out the good food and we will return again and see if the speed of things has improved.

Had a wonderful family meal here today. The roast dinners are wonderful and the nut roast being a veggie was to die for. Brilliant service and lovely atmosphere

Booked a table for a Saturday lunch for 7, in when we arrived we ordered drinks ok then food and then we waited..... about 40 minutes after ordering we were told the pizzas are just going in the oven. After an hour the first 2 meals arrived ten minutes later another 2 ten minutes later another 2 and then the last one followed by the garlic bread and then we had to remind the staff about the side salads and ask for more drinks. The food was amazing but let down by the service. God knows what happens if the place is full you’d be stuck in there for a week! We didn’t have a starter besides us there was one table of 3 and appeared to have waited just as long for food.

The beef lasagna if truly amazing! The Texas pizza is truly amazing! I can’t wait till I am free to try the Sunday roast that I have herd so much about. Rob is an crazy good chief! Thank you :)

My girlfriend and I visited here wow what a fantastic meal we had and very good value great service. It was quite busy but it didn't affect the time it took to get served and for our pizzas to arrive at the table which is good. Definitely go back again for sure.

My wife and I my absolutely love Roberto's, the pizzas they make are always delicious, covered with a generous amount toppings and everything we've ever had from them is always incredible.Their side salad is spectacular and on more than one occasion my wife and I have gone in purely to buy a salad to go along with whatever else we may be cooking that evening.I also had Roberto's cater a training event at my business last month. They were incredibly accommodating and everybody was really impressed with the quality of the food. This restaurant is a true jem and a fantastic asset to our wonderful little town.

We have enjoyed pizza and pasta many times at Roberto's. Now he does the best Sunday roasts too! Absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend. Rob is also good if you have food intolerance's, very helpful.

Went to Robertos and had a roast. It was the best roast that I have ever had out. Amazing atmosphere. I have been to this restaurant several times and I highly recommend it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be returning.

Booked for a christmas lunch with a friend. As we are regulars we know how big the portions are so we just kept to the main meal. Both of us had a meatball Calzone washed down with 2 pints of Italian Beer with complimentary cheese straws.

We have visited this restaurant a few times now and the quality of food remains the same. It’s all absolutely delicious, Generous portions and excellently presented. If you are local, this should be a regular evening out for you and if you are not local.. make the journey.. you will not be disappointed. Some of the best food I have ever eaten!!!

My husband wanted to take me to Robertos to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I was filled with trepidation as I am on week 4 of 8 elimination diet for food intolerances. They couldn't do enough for me! Gf pizza base and designed the pizza to suit, salad was undressed and again totally to order, dressing on the side so hubby didnt feel left out. Cant recommend this friendly, independent restaurant enough. Well done guys!

I had a delicious pizza, my niece had a pasta dish, she loved it. Service was good, staff were very friendly, Roberto chatted to us too, he was lovely. The pud was to die for!!! Really enjoyed our evening.

This was our first visit to Roberto's and the food was amazing. Yes we had to wait for it as it was a busy Saturday evening but it was definitely worth it. The owner even took time to come and see us to apologise for the wait and have a chat. What a genuinely nice guy, we will 100% be coming back.

Booked table for 7 at 7 pm - had 45 min wait for shared starters which were okay but after a further one hour wait we gave up and cancelled our mains. Service and general lack of understanding of front of house staff was not helpful. Clearly the kitchen was understaffed so be prepared to wait for hours, literally!

Had an enjoyable evening at Robertos on a busy Saturday evening. We have been intending to visit for ages and am so pleased that we did. Booking a table for two was simple. We arrived shortly before 7pm and were greeted by staff and had a cosy table for two near the bar. We enjoyed a very generous starter of antipasti for two, a fabulous selection of Italian meats and cheeses. I was very impressed with the choice of food available including a theme menu. Pizzas were delicious with amazing toppings, I had the Cajun shrimp which was fully loaded with shrimp. Beautiful. Staff were more than happy to box up what we couldn't finish (and it still tasted good when we ate it later).

The food is fresh. Service is good. Prices reasonable. Three of us had a fantastic meal. Cheesy garlic bread to share... delicious. Deep fried Calzone was a first for me. It was delicious. Will return again soon.

Went for my birthday with the hubby, daughter and son in law, the two men had starters which were good, then the wait started, never got asked if we required another drink, had to ask for this, still waiting for food at this time, eventually food arrived at 8.45 bearing in mine table was booked for 7, after waiting all this time I had gone past wanting food. So so disappointing as the food was quite good. No one even came to explain about the wait at all. Front of house very poor.

We ordered pizzas from Roberto’s as had friends over. The service we received was excellent and the pizzas we had were delicious. I would recommend both the Carbonara and the Pepperoni. They also have small pizzas which our children loved. Will definitely be returning. It’s so nice to have delicious food locally.

We arrived at Roberto's and was greeted by very friendly young lady. Sat down and ordered 3 different meals. I had pizza and my friends had lasagna and carbonara. Food was amazing and very delicious . One of the nicest Italian meal's I've had in a long time. We will certainly be back.

We ended in Roberto's because somewhere else we had meant to go to was too busy and what a find! It was a quiet weekday and we were the only diners hence had the advantage of very individual service by what looked like the owner who served and cooked. We had a mix of pizza and pasta and both were absolutely amazing! Definitely one of our Devon highlights!

Always great tasty food. Good menu with plenty of choice. Highly recommend the Frutti de Mare Pizza with the delicious mixed salad. Be prepared to wait a while for your food as it is cooked to order but it's well worth the wait.

Just had the best, nicest time at Roberto's We (family from S.A). We where so warmly Welcomed, had the most amazing time, Anti pasta starters with pita bread. Awesome cuts of cold cuts of meat and cheeses, olives, deworx. Not even to talk about the gormet pizzas we had. We could even chop and change the toppings, The seafood pizza, mexian, and the steak pizza with extra 'Monkey gland Sauce' Was absolutely Amazing. Homemade pizza basis, nice and thin and they have it in 3 sizes from kiddies to the Very Hungry and Rob (the owner and cook) not afraid to put some decent portion of toppings on. Roberto's to be recommend for all the pizza and pasta Lovers

Recently visited Robertos for a family meal. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Would definitely recommend and will be returning with no hesitation.

Took my girls to Robertos on Thursday lunchtime. The pizzas were amazing and the cheesy garlic bread was yummy, even if it did defeat us. The staff were very friendly and even the other people eating in there were friendly, made the atmosphere relaxed.

The food here is really good, all freshly cooked, very tasty and well presented. However, it’s badly let down by the front of house service which is really poor. We waited ages for our food which isn’t always a bad thing when everything is cooked to order, but the female owner and waitresses were just too absent and not particularly friendly. We waited 40 minutes for our starter and another hour for our main course. We had to ask for more drinks etc and the service just lacks any attentiveness and we didn’t feel particularly welcome. After the main course we were asked if we wanted the bill, not if we wanted desserts or coffees. If these things were rectified we would go back as the food is great.

We enjoyed a meal here with friends who hadn't been before. The pizzas as always were delicious and our friends enjoyed their pasta dishes. The friendly welcoming atmosphere make this a great place to eat.

Our first visit here and we are local - so if we liked it we would be regulars. I had called in previously and witnessed a family leaving, due to the length of time it took to be served, so was already a bit "on guard". There were 11 people in total in this evening and it took 45 minutes for a main course to arrive (mine about three minutes ahead of my companions) - food was OK but not great. Looking around other peoples food was also taking some time to arrive and never all at same time for a table. Total bill was £45 for two people - main course only with shared starter , no dessert and a couple of drinks. I eat all over the world and would think this expensive ...... and then its Cullompton !

Had two pizzas delivered tonight, one was flaming hot, and the other was Texas, OMG they were to die for, best pizza we ever had, would definitely recommend, will be going to restaurant to eat in soon.

Wow what a lovely meal we had last night at Roberto’s, We both had starters, followed by Pizza and Pasta. Great atmosphere, with very friendly staff. We would recommend this to anyone, but remember to book ! Great little find in the centre of Cullompton.

Staff were very friendly, had the most delicious pizza I have ever tasted... Even better than Italy!!! Took my Grandson (Who doesn’t really like pizza). He kept going back for more... Excellent value for money, will definitely be returning soon...

Welcoming service staff very polite and helpful. A nice rang of dishes of pasta and pizzas . Roberto is a very welcoming chef and give you all the information regarding specials and deals . Went here for my sons birthday meal and can strongly recommend it to anyone in the area wanting a small venue for birthdays, anniversary’s , business lunches or even just for a fantastic freshly made fresh ingredient pizza and they even decorated the place for my son for his birthday wasn’t expecting that but had a fantastic fabulous time and would go again and again pricing is amazing definitely value for money .

When to here today for my sons 9th birthday meal excellent service from staff well spoken and polite and very helpful. Food was exactly what it says fresh to order and taste amazing . They even decorated the place for the birthday theme my son wanted so all in all amazing place , amazing food , and price is very very good would recommend anyone wanting a birthday meal to business meals this would be the place to go . Will definitely be going back in the near future

My wife & i visited last night for a themed evening of Sicilian food which was excellent quality ,lovely service & atmosphere especially as the menu had obviously hit home because they were fully booked & rocking .Lots of happy noise & people enjoying the relaxed midweek evening menu .I will definitely be back .A relaxed way to enjoy an evening out

I visited for a takeaway but got told they were too busy which left my granddaughter terribly upset. This is twice now have been told this on two separate occasions. You advertise a takeaway !! You either do or you don’t do takeaway you can’t pick and choose?

Table booked by my lovely daughters as an early Birthday lunch. What can I say? Lovely, friendly welcome by both Roberto and his wife. We had our littlest Munchkin with us too and they couldn't have been more friendly to her. We all had pasta and the garlic bread - absolute perfection! Food is all freshly cooked, so it's definitely not "fast food", although the wait is not unacceptable. Good choice of pizzas and pasta and the desserts looked scrumptious too - however, we had no room left! Would definitely recommend and we will be returning!

Just visited Roberto’s for our wedding anniversary. It had come highly recommended and it did not fail us! Excellent staff and amazing food. A good varied Italian menu. We will return!

We decided to have lunch out today at Roberto’s, what a great idea this was. We have had fantastic pizzas., and also carbonara. Roberto and wife were most welcoming and the food was faultless. We will definately be back again soon.

Great little pizza restaurant on the main st. Excellent staff and delicious Italian food. The pudding was phenomenal too. Wished there was a bigger choice of wines and maybe grappa but apart from that great.

Ordered 3 different types of pizza and when they asked if we were collecting or wanting delivery I asked them to deliver. We live on the edge of town and in a secluded spot that all other delivery services have struggled to find us and when they eventually have, the food has been cold. Not anymore!!! The delivery driver arrived, promptly (30 minutes from ordering), with piping hot pizza!! These pizzas are the best I’ve ever tasted. Beautifully thin, crispy base with fully loaded toppings and right up to the edges. Full of flavour, clearly made with fresh produce and the perfect amount of cheese!! Highly recommend you try them. This wasn't our first visit and we love the pizza here so we chose this to be the venue for a surprise baby shower for our friend who is due this month.

I came here for the 1st time back in December and wanted to bring my husband who is a fan of Italian Food. We was given main menu, specials board and valentines menu to choose from, the afternoon we was there they had run out of Beef Lasagne which wasn't a problem as there was so much more to choose from.

Visited here with my sister. The service was faultless. The food was superb ! A really great little Italian in the middle of the village. I will be returning .

Had a wonderful pizza last Wednesday for wife's birthday.possibly the best I've had for a long time. Beautiful base, loaded with lots of topping, delicious anchovies..and fresh basil garnish. And a lovely Italian draft lager to boot... We are VERY lucky indeed to live so close by ... Many thanks

This was my first visit here and I will definitely be back. We arrived at 7.30 on Friday night the restaurant was full which is a good sign. Service was great and the food was spectacular. My dad who eats a lot of pizzas said it was the best pizza he had ever had. The only change they could make is that I believe the portion size is far to large. My mums lasagna could have served two. It looked like all the tables were taking some of their meal home. This is by the far the best place to eat out in cullompton. I am definitely going to make it my regular eat out and even do the takeaway. Thank you for such a great time.

As Italian lovers we are SO pleased to have found this little gem on our doorstep. We’ve just come back from dinner this evening and can’t stop talking about our experience with Robertos!

Just had a pizza, well half of one, it was piled high with toppings. all of my families meals were also very generous helpings. All very impressed with the quality of the food. A bit of a wait for food but for such a small busy restaurant that is completely understandable and you know the food is fresh. 100% will return.

Visited this restaurant for a New Years Eve meal. It was absolutely delicious. The food is freshly cooked with good ingredients and is excellent. The service is very good by this family run business and I can not recommend highly enough.

These pizza’s are amazing. 100% freshly made and cooked. No other pizza shops or commonly known shops compare to these. I would 100% recommend.

Just popped in for a quick stop....great host (Roberto?)....great Cappucino...now back on M5...best pit stop for miles and easy to get to from motorway!

Having lived in Cullompton i have been meaning to try out this restaurant and this evening i got the opportunity.

super spot with very reasonable priced menu. Nearly all tables were booked which shows how popular it is. The restaurant deserves todo well
