The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Japanese food

Awful.The food was off, and it has put me off eating salmon after the terrible experience that I had at this place.Do not recommend.It was also expensive and not worth the price with slow service.

We went for dinner on a Thursday night. We called to ask if we could go at 21:30. They said ok but flagged last orders were at 21:45 and they close at 22:00 (not sure how they could expect anyone ordering and eating in 15 minutes unless they have a bowl of lukewarm soup). We had ordered by 21:35 and left at 22:09. The speediest £100 they have ever seen. They made it clear from the start they didn’t want us there, obviously concerned about risking of closing a few minutes later than usual, despite accepting our reservation. The service was short and rude, but the cherry on the cake came when I asked to use the toilet and their answer was: sorry, no, we have just cleaned it! Never again.

Entró durante un paseo de perros y tomó un macha latte y Veg Curry Bun, soso bueno! No puedo esperar para probar más de esta panadería. Volveremos cada semana!

Tres cosas:  1. El lugar en sí es adorable. Escondido dentro de un mercado discreto. El lugar es minúsculo. Tres mesas Cocina abierta. ¡Se lleva íntimo al siguiente nivel!  2. Acabo de regresar de 3 semanas en Japón. Y creo que la comida aquí es propia. Oscila en mi opinión.  3. BYOB. Además de ser extremadamente asequible. Puedes traer bebidas del exterior! Esto lo convierte en el lugar perfecto para una cita nocturna o una noche relajada con amigos. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. 10/10. Fantástico.

He estado aquí muchas veces y tengo que decir que esta vez fue extremadamente decepcionante lo único bueno de todo el servicio de comedor fue nuestro camarero Bhajan, él era el único camarero que era muy servicial. Era hora feliz y cuando preguntamos si las bebidas se pueden sacar más tarde porque hay una falta de espacio en la mesa, esa solicitud fue denegada. En cuanto a la comida, fue atroz que pedimos la brocheta de ternera wagyu y estaba severamente hecha y en el lado quemado , la carne de ternera debe derretirse en su boca, pero era demasiado masticable, por lo que le dijimos a otro camarero que es demasiado masticable, ni siquiera preguntó si querríamos reemplazo o no y simplemente envió otro plato y esta vez estaba muy poco cocinado! Luego tuvimos el bacalao negro y puedo decir que sin siquiera probarlo, estaba hecho, el bacalao negro debería descascarillarse bien, pero no lo hizo una y otra vez y el pescado se volvió duro y masticable. Un camarero preguntó cómo estaba la comida, así que le dije cortésmente que muchos de los platos estaban exagerados y el camarero puso algunas excusas que cada restaurante hace bacalao negro diferente, diferentes sabores, sí, pero no tan duro como las botas viejas. De nuevo le dije amablemente que he comido bacalao negro miso en muchos restaurantes y que no debería ser negro, quemado y seco como el desierto del Sahara. Parece sorprendido de que haya un problema con la comida cuando nos preguntó si algo estaba mal. Wagyu debe cocinarse para que la textura se derrita en la boca y el bacalao negro debe cocinarse para que el pescado se desprenda y tenga una textura súper suave. Creo que algunos de los camareros de este restaurante necesitan más entrenamiento para lidiar con las quejas y si la comida no sale como debería ser para lidiar con las respuestas mucho mejor en lugar de inventar excusas. Después de esta experiencia gastronómica que puedo vender no volveré pronto, ya que para otros sushi shiro globales el de Londres es atroz en comparación con otros.

Fantastic little place for Japanese Easr Asian food. Had Sashimi & seaweed salad. Loved it a great addition to the places in Galashiels to eat out or take away !!

Today, around 7:30 pm I went to this shop to get my dinner on the way back and there was this guy, blonde and short hair, who ask us to wear masks which unfortunately we didn't have with us because my girlfriend, my brother and I we were out for a walking with no plans to go in any shops. So it was a last-minute thing. Anyway he raccomend us to bring mask next time and so far nothing bad but we noticed how his voice has changed and how much annoyed he was, we noticed his body language was so bad to let feel us uncomfortable. When my girlfriend accidentally put a box back in a wrong place he came out straight away just to show her that she made a mistake. I understand it's hard time for all, maybe we wronged about not bring us with us our masks but It wasn't intentionally but this is not the right way to treat your customers. Best regards

I come here regularly for a quick meal. The fish is always fresh unlike other places in Croydon and sushi rolls are always delicious. Staff are also very friendly

Had Great dinner here!food was simply lovely and staffs are very friendly and helpful special thx for RAM he served as with a big smile and it was cute and cozy place to visit.we keep coming back

Increíblemente bueno. La mejor experiencia gastronómica japonesa que he tenido. Solo 12 personas, atendidas individualmente. Los chefs hacen la comida delante de ti. La pareja a nuestro lado viajó por el mundo para el mejor sushi (¡de verdad!) y dijo que esto es de primera clase. Asegúrate de combinar el sake con la comida.

Recomiendo encarecidamente el Tsuku men & Spicy mazesoba! Tsukumen es como mojar ramen. Si no te sientes comiendo sopa ese día puedes probar esta: )

The “Bath Landlady” has done a fantastic job at the pub. Was a pub with a reputation of Fosters lager, and some interesting people. Now it’s cool, with an excellent selection of drinks, it’s been stripped back and now feels like a proper pub, with plenty of live music and a hip clientele. As a former Bath pub landlord, this pub is bang on

Loved it! Ordered in lock down v2 and didn’t have to wait long to get our order ready. Every dish was incredibly good, the rolls, the chicken teriyaki, tempura and tori kara age. We will definitely come back and try more food, it’s been one of the best meals we have had in lock down.

We got the latte with oat milk and gingerbread syrup, and the matcha latte with oat milk. Both were good and just right on the sweetness scale for both. We don't like super sweet drinks. The decor is really cute. Definitely set up for social media selfies/ussies.
