Loved it! Ordered in lock down v2 and didn’t have to wait long to get our order ready. Every dish was incredibly good, the rolls, the chicken teriyaki, tempura and tori kara age. We will definitely come back and try more food, it’s been one of the best meals we have had in lock down.

Otoro is a great local find with a fab menu (which the staff are willing to adapt to accommodate vegans) and very friendly staff. We have not had a bad meal having come several times recently here and I can highly recommend. Our daughter is vegan and we also have two veggie daughters and everyone eats well here. If you book early you will sometimes get the largest table by the window which is the best.

La comida aquí es deliciosa y auténtica. Muchos platos que conozco, así como otros que no había probado antes También tiene un precio muy razonable que para los japoneses es inusual. No podría recomendarlo más

Delicios food, served by really friendly Japanese team. Started with hot sake, then a variety of shared dishes, followed by sea bass tempura, salmon and chef's sushi. All excellent. Busy on Friday eve so worth booking. Would work well as a meal before going to the Olympic as service is efficient. Also after as it quietens by 10pm

Booked the table for 8.30pm but we got there earlier as we tried few months ago without a booking and we were told to wait 45mins. We got there and we sat at the bar.. best place, trust me- if it’s two people. The menu is very straight forward if you are familiar with Japanese food. We ordered few dishes, unsure of their sizes didn’t want to go overboard. Food came quite quickly, considering that the restaurant was very busy, it came super fast. Omg, the flavours, all the dishes were so fresh and felt “light” (you need to try and you’ll agree). Very tasty! The waitresses were very attentive and professional, they made sure we were fine. We asked for the bill and we were pleasantly surprised: 3 starters, 2 mains and drinks less than £40!!! Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back!

Everything was fresh and served quite quickly. Tea was good and lunch menu was served with 4 well balanced nigiri (fish and rice ratio) and Salmon Teriyaki filet with rice. Really nice indeed. I also ordered a double salmon and avocado roll which the chef kindly made spicy by request.

The decor is welcoming - try getting the front sunken window table if you are four people or more for Japanese-style table service. The sushis are varied and delicious, as are the starter dishes. Recommend the dragon and crispy duck rolls. Service is smiling, polite and friendly. All-in-all great for pre- or post- cinema or simply an evening out. Highly recommended.

We went to Otoro last night for the second time, but this time took some friends who similarly love their Japanese food and we were all blown away buy how fantastic the food was. Firstly the decor has a really authentic feel ( and yes I have been to Japan and eaten there)and secondly the menu is very enticing-we could have eaten almost everything on it. The dishes we did order were served promptly and were all delicious and our friends were as impressed as we were when we first went. My only criticism is the wine list which is too short and the quality of the wines don’t match the food. It needs to be broader and deeper with more choices in offer. Nevertheless a great night out and a simply fantastic meal.

Woah! That’s a good woah, me and my friend visited Otoro last night on Rock Lane to see what the fuss is all about. I normally don’t involve in writing reviews at all, but seeing all the negative ones. I don’t want anyone who loves Japanese food to be put off by it! Clearly, all the negative reviews they all have to be live by Rock Lane, don’t they? Do they have problem with the location of the restaurant personally? And this restaurant has to be the only restaurant they reviewed first ever? Too expensive? There is a price next to the food lists. For whatever the reasons, me and my friend, had a lovely time dinning at the restaurant! We came in without a reservation and well… It was super busy! I would definitely recommend reserving a table for the weekend or any special occasions. We sat at the back, which was really cozy and private, nonetheless the service was grate, not too much in your face! We had the prawn tempura, which was fluffy and light, came out fresh. The chicken skewers, is also super lovely. And gosh! the rainbow roll… super yummy, with the spicy mayo. It’s a dream! If you love or want to try next to close to an authentic, traditional Japanese food, look no further! They also had variety of teas, sake, Japanese gins, vodka and whiskey too! I haven’t seen any of these before, but looks very exclusive! It’s not like you can buy it from the super market! None the less, we love it! Will be back to try some more! Don’t be discourage by the negative reviews, I do encourage to try it! without a fault!

I den här relativt nyöppnade restaurangen finns det gott om goda japanska rätter att välja mellan. I stort sett allt det goda som tillhör japanska köket från sushi till efterrätter.

We went there for lunch a had a very good surprise. The food was excellent with a great variety of real Japanese dishes. Great selection of sashimi looking and tasting extremely good. Very friendly and speedy service. If I have to be picky I should say that some cuts of the seabass sashimi were still too much on the frozen side. Very good experience overall.

A notorious "graveyard" site, we hadn't booked at this new restaurant on the basis that we were going to do a "walk by" to see how busy it was on a Saturday night (not wanting to be potentially the only ones there.) Pleasingly the room was full & we even had to wait a couple of minutes for a table. Service was charming rather than slick but no complaints. No complaints either about the food; soft shell crab & vegetable tempura were fresh, light & not at all greasy. Rib-eye steak was a little underdone but that was immediately rectified; sea bass filet with ginger was generous (would have perhaps preferred a less gloopy sauce) excellent stir-fried veg plus delicious green tea & coconut ice-creams. The wine list is adequate; there are good sake choices. We really enjoyed the experience & will definitely support this new venture in the future. Hurrah, there is a takeaway menu too.

My friends and I were looking for a place to have some quick dinner, and what a great find this was! The restaurant was clean and comfortable, the staff was warm to us and answered any questions we had, and they separated our bill without us even having to ask. The food had so much taste to it, particularly the sushi rice bowl, and the wasabi which had a really strong kick to it. If I had any constructive criticism, I would say if they had played some music that would’ve helped fill the quietness while we were looking through the menu. Overall, if I’m ever down in the area again I’ll be sure to come back to Ke Sushi!

Lovely place. The decor is a bit plain and cold feeling but the food was nice. I got some maki and nigiri sushi. Friend loves his deep fried veggie and fried squid maki. The quality of the fish was good. We requested more salmon on the mixed sushi platter and they did it accordingly which was lovely. The miso soup was hot which was great. It was nice but I wouldn't say amazing. All is all it was nice but not amazing. I would say perhaps a bit on the expensive side.
