I come here regularly for a quick meal. The fish is always fresh unlike other places in Croydon and sushi rolls are always delicious. Staff are also very friendly

I love that little shop at the mall, always offering fresh sushi. If there's something you want missing, they're very happy to make it for you within 5 minutes.

This is a stall in the Whitgift Centre, where they make the dishes daily. We take away. A plate of around £9 has a mixture of sashimi, and more traditional rolls of avocado and the like.. One plate is enough for one person. Tashi sushi is a late find for us!

If they'd allowed the potatoe to ferment it might have had a decent kick, the rice was good. Nicely cooked in a machine

We really love sushi and just could not resist. We just love the slices of salmon and tuna. Can get a bit expensive but it is the quality of food that you are paying for. Absolutely excellent food.

Always eat here when in Croydon. The food is delicious and very tasty. Staff always helpful and can add little extras if you ask them. I love sushi anyway and find it to be quite healthy. Always have the chicken or beef curry which is excellent, recently tried the chicken noodle soup which is also great. Good value for money, especially if you go later in the day as the sushi is half price. Thumbs up!

I LOVE this place! Sushi is fresh & so much variety. Also hot food available which is cooked on site(you can smell the cooking) . The price is not too bad, for the quality, I am more then happy to pay. Staff are friendly & helpful; it's always busy so it's constantly making more fresh sushi, if something I want is not there, they are willing to make it for me!

I don't like sushi. I've tried and tried but no. Raw fish is not my thing. However, I eat here nearly every lunchtime because their beef in their beef noodle soup is amazing. Loads of spring onions too. I doubt that it is Kobe but nevertheless it is so lean and tender. Tip: Careful with the chilli sauce. It'll make you cry if you over do it.

My girlfriend and I go here quite often to pick up some sushi on our way home. The quality of the food here is very high and it is honestly the best sushi I have ever had. My favourite is the salmon, avacardo and cream cheese closely followed by the spicy salmon. They have a great range of sushi and hot food. It isn't a place I would particularly like to sit down at as it is in quite a busy part of the Whitgift Centre. But otherwise the location is very convenient. If you like sushi, you won't be dissapointed!

The restaurant is convenient, in middle of Whitgift centre, with bar stools on the counter 0 no tables, The sushi looks ok, but the gyoza were very poor; dry and unpleasant, chicken curry in thick sauce - not good.

Popular with the workers in the Whitgift Centre and they should know. Friendly service. It's nothing special but £6 for big plate of rice, chicken curry and a drink is excellence value.

I used to buy chicken katsu curry with a bottle of water a few times a month.. But after my experience.. It's a no no for me. Generally I'm not that fussed with food but this really got to me. I found a strand of hair in my food for a start.. And my katsu chicken did not taste fresh whatsoever! Then it occurred to me.. No one there wears a hair net.. Surely that's not allowed?? We need serving food... Hair nets must be worn at all times. I walk past there from now on.. And I don't even miss it. I'm not the only one who has a bad experience with them. Wear hair nets and serve fresh food!!!!

I got the boneless kfc and it was disappointing. It wasn’t even fried it came out of an air fryer which was immediately a red flag but i gave them the benefit of the doubt. Flavours were slacking and the chicken was a bit chewy, it was cook from frozen not very fresh at all. You could definitely taste that it cook from frozen. For a small cup of frozen chicken out of the air fryer it was £6-7, most definitely not worth it.

We chose this restaurant for my husband's birthday having had our honeymoon in Japan and falling in love with Japanese cuisine. We booked a table, and very glad we did because it's a wonderfully small place and very busy mid-week. Our meal was absolutely wonderful, I cannot recommend this place enough. Lovely staff and fresh, tasty food. It's not the cheapest but I didn't expect so - the food is fresh and very high quality. We'll be back!

Really good sushi. We always go into central london for sushi but honestly this is one of the only local take away joints that is of an equal standard. The sushi is super fresh, you can see them making it. I’m surprised by the odd negative review and can only assume it relates to the hot food (noodles/rice etc) which is not what I would order from a sushi restaurant. Lovely fresh sushi, I’m a massive fan of the sashimi, mango tango and seared salmon rolls. Highly recommended.

Im starting to wonder if the chicken in the katsu curry could get any thinner, i think they should rename it "panko katsu curry with a hint of chicken" because at this point there is more breadcrumbs than there is chicken. I suppose the upside is there is so little chicken in it that its probably now suitable for vegetarians!
