Nudo sushi box - monument in Gateshead

Today, around 7:30 pm I went to this shop to get my dinner on the way back and there was this guy, blonde and short hair, who ask us to wear masks which unfortunately we didn't have with us because my girlfriend, my brother and I we were out for a walking with no plans to go in any shops. So it was a last-minute thing. Anyway he raccomend us to bring mask next time and so far nothing bad but we noticed how his voice has changed and how much annoyed he was, we noticed his body language was so bad to let feel us uncomfortable. When my girlfriend accidentally put a box back in a wrong place he came out straight away just to show her that she made a mistake. I understand it's hard time for all, maybe we wronged about not bring us with us our masks but It wasn't intentionally but this is not the right way to treat your customers. Best regards

We called in for lunch when in Newcastle for the Christmas markets. The choice of food was good and the service was friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to get two seats in the window and ate in, having warm food. We really enjoyed our food and it was our first visit to a Nudo Sushi Box and won’t be our last.

This used to be our favourite place in town for sushi! Last three times we went we were extremely disappointed unfortunately. It’s just not the same, not as tasty, not as fresh...such a shame and letdown! My work colleagues are of the same opinion, not sure if the ownership has changed or what but I’m not coming back. Guys come on sort it out or you will loose more customers!

Just popped in on the way to the station and was glad I did. Great fresh sushi. Recommend the seared salmon ngiri, it was excellent. Good place for a quick stop.

We nipped into nodu for a quick lunch. There is a range of hot and cold choices suitable both meat eaters and veggies. We opted for a tofu noodle with veggie gyoza, chicken wings and nigiri selection. All were very tasty. Without drinks the bill came to just short of £15. We'd return.

Great place for a tasty lunch. We managed to get a table on the pavement, which was great in the glorious sunny weather.

Quick service. Good food too but can be a bit expensive. Good for a quick bite when you are close by.

We were in Newcastle for an overnight stay and had a big sit-down meal planned for the evening. Nudo was perfect for a light, healthy lunch beforehand. My wife had Salmon Sashimi along with some mixed Sushi.I had some Sushi and the Chicken Tonkotsu soup. Prices were good (cheaper than Yo Sushi) and it was all very tasty. It's a tiny place but we were lucky enough to get seats too. We've had takeaway dishes before, including many other things off the menu and it was all very nice. Recommended!

It definitely isn't the best sushi you will ever have, but it is still very good! Select the boxes of sushi that you want and then eat them :)

Reasonably priced healthy options make it a great go to for lunch. Great customer service, love that Nathan and Paulina make an effort to get to know their regulars.

He estado aquí un par de veces. El lugar es limpio y agradable, el personal es servicial y profesional, pero lamentablemente la comida no es sabrosa. El aguacate era crudo en el sushi, por ejemplo.

Popped in for a long needed sushi fix to find so many new products! The lad working knew all the new products so well that he totally steered me away from my usual go to option.

I love visiting Nudo for lunch and dins. More specifically, I love dropping in on the Monument branch where Paulina always makes me feel super welcome. Amazing food as always and a comfortable atmosphere, I'd say i'll be visiting again soon but I'm sure you already know that! See you again soon, thank you!

I went there during my last visit in newcastle.they have a big choice of the food. Paulina and her friend they were very helpful and friendly .paulina she help me find something gluten free.i will get back there for sure

I try to come here whenever I'm in Newcastle city centre! The food is delicious - personal favourites are the Salmon Sashimi, Fried Prawn sushi rolls and Panna Cotta dessert.

Went for lunch here for first time. Had loads on offer and really enjoyed it for something different , guy behind counter was very friendly and helpful. Will go back. Worth a try for something different.

Fue la primera vez que he estado en este nudo en el monumento en Newcastle. Tuve requesón bean strip con algas y fue genial. El chico detrás del mostrador era muy amable y el lugar estaba impecablemente limpio. Sin duda para una agregar esta visita regular.

Conseguimos nuestra comida de San Valentín en la puerta, era increíble. Teníamos entradas de sushi que eran muy fresco y sabroso, entonces teníamos pollo al curry japonés y arroz y pato asado al curry. Sabía increíble, muy impresionado, la verdad. Definitivamente recomiendo este restaurante y le regresaremos muchas veces.

Lovely choice of fresh sushi including many non fish options. The soup never disappoints on a cold day and a great choice of drinks. Grab a quick meal and then buy some more to take home :))

Este nuevo Nudo Sishi está justo junto al monumento en el centro de Newcastle, muy bien ubicado para el almuerzo descanso comida. Hay unas pocas mesas para comer en el restaurante, pero excelente para llevar opciones. Hay una variedad de cajas realmente excelente sushi y el salmón es buena y a un precio muy razonable. También tienen una buena y barata mezcla vegetal. La comida está bien presentado y fresco y uno de sus grandes puntos de venta es el bajo contenido en calorías.

He estado aquí dos veces para mi almuerzo. Es rápido y relación calidad-precio. Más opciones de bento están por debajo de 4 libras. Tienen un espacio limitado para sentarse, pero si te la dan, que está justo enfrente del monumento. En la que a menudo tiene un evento, es algo que mirar al comer.
