So bloody happy I was able to get my hands on a DF V milkshake! I had an oreo milkshake that was oat based and it was DELICIOUS. With allergies you really struggle to get the good stuff anymore, so I was really chuffed with my milkshake. Friendly, quick service and delicious drink with all normal options available as well as smoothies and other drinks. Highly recommend when you visit Newquay! 🌊

Great find in Newquay. Enjoyed an early morning dog walk on the beach followed by a Kook juice. Good juice, friendly staff and they didn’t mind my dog waiting patiently in the shop. Returned again following day for another and daughter had a milkshake which was also great.

Living locally, our family visit here when we are in town to buy smoothies. Difficult to choose a favourite as they are all delicious. Friendly staff and nice to sit outside and “people watch”.

It was a great experience. They were very friendly and efficient. They noticed not joining in order for ice creams and offered me lactose free ice cream and gluten free cone as an alternative. Very appreciative.

I cannot begin to say how amazing this place is. I was delighted to see dairy free options on the menu that allowed me to have a milkshake and not be unwell afterwards. The owner let me try a sample of the ice cream and oat milk. Service was speedy and ideally placed in the town. My partner also has the smoothies which again were to die for! I would drive the 6 hour journey knowing they were waiting at the end! Get yourselves there!

Great little place on the main street to grab some drinks and sit and chill on nearby park benches and look out across the sea.

I could write a whole book about how much i love this place, I came down to Newquay a week ago and found this little shop and decided to have a try and now all I think about is the shop! I usually stand there staring at the menu for 5 minutes before i even order because of how big the menu is, the staff are always so polite even after a long day, if i ever come back down to Newquay i know exactly where ill be going first

Visited this little gem one hot afternoon whilst on holiday. There was just one lady serving as it was almost 6pm (when they shut) and a bit of a que,, but we didn't mind waiting. We ordered 2 medium milkshakes and she upgraded them to large due to the wait - which was really kind and not needed at all as we weren't really waiting that long, but a lovely kind gesture. We liked it so much we went back the next day for smoothies :-) All the staff are really friendly, a fab little place :-)

Love this place, great choice of drinks at reasonable prices, limited outside seating but I'm not going to quibble about this. Friendly and popular with locals, always a good sign.

We just can't stay in Newquay without visiting..our daughter won't let us 🙈😂. Fantastic milkskaes, personal service and always a smile. Nothing is too much trouble, even when our daughter requests jelly beans on her smoothie 😂 We always look forward to visiting and will continue to do so for years to come!

If you thinking about which place to go for an ice cream or a milkshake then this is the place to go to because the the people who work there seem happy and passionate about their job which I love about this place ,and it's not like they are being forced to be happy ,they are choosing to be happy which I like about this place. Whenever we visit Newquay we do try to come here. There is a great selection of sweet treats and healthy smoothies. The place always has a great atmosphere no matter how busy it is. It is true that you really do feel that you are valued as a customer and nowadays that seems to be a very rare thing.

Great smoothy and ice cream. Wonderful staff. Charged me for a smaller size drink due to the wait (there wasn't really a wIt). Quality products.

This place is covid friendly. One 1 set of customers are allowed in at a time. The staff are both very friendly. The milkshakes are amazing. If you visit Newquay, you must try one of their milkshakes.

Really enjoyed my ice cream from the Kook and the fantastic and friendly service I received. I enjoyed my experience so much I returned again for a smoothie half an hour later. The staff were so cool, polite and friendly and remembered me. Their warmth made me feel like a valued customer and that put me in a fantastic mood. Would happily recommend Kook and visit again upon my return.

We visit Newquay every September and my husband and I always look forward to going to Kook for a Wakey Shake in the morning. Such a cute little place with loads of shakes and smoothies to chose from. Always a friendly welcome and great value for money. Can’t wait till next year.

On cold winters day in Newquay pop in for ice cream 🍦at kooks. Ice cream amazing , smoothie fab and waffle delicious all for £13. Lady behind counter friendly chatty and had dog biscuits for our dog! 😘

The lady at the counter was super friendly. Two of us sat in and shared a waffle with whip cream and chocolate sauce, that was really good! We then had a milkshake each. Again they were both awesome! Freshly made behind the counter! The fact that they offer plant based and dairy free ice creams is also really good! Will definitely be visiting when we go to Newquay again.

We went for a milkshake into Newquay and came across this lovely cafe/shop. They had a lovely range of milkshakes, smoothies and yoghurts. The owner was really friendly and the service was quick. Would definitely go back!

Came here with our dog after being at the beach. Ice cream is lovely and very filling. Had a juice as well which was very refreshing. Our dog got a treat as well which he was very happy with. Very friendly staff

Visited 28th and the staff were very friendly despite it being very busy. Had the Cadbury Caramel, Reeces Pieces and chocolate milkshake.When my son dropped his by accident after being given it the immediately offered to replace it which to me shows the true nature of the people who run it

Visited during pride 2019, the staff are really pleasant and up-beat making the atmosphere friendly. The menu is vast, it’s almost impossible for them to not have something you want AND it was all priced fair for the goods received! I’d highly recommend the ‘very berry’ blend.Also supported the pride community and gave money off for participation in the pride event!Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a refreshing blended to order drink!

An extremely large selection of many milkshake flavours. Amazing taste in each milkshake (we got the dairy milk and oreo). The milkshakes are what you would want from them with their thick texture

Just popped into kook for ice cream and milkshake. Service was very friendly and staff were helpful with suggestions. Unfortunately my son went with his own choice and didn't like it. We went back to get him another and they made him a new one free of charge. Not often that happens. Highly recommend

Everyone in there is so polite especially the manager/main person and every time I by a milkshake it never seems to surprise me how good they are and they also have a wide selection of healthy things and not so healthy thing such as milkshakes,smoothies,yoghurt and ice cream highly recommended

My family stopped off for a summer refreshment while walking through Newquay. It was that super we went back for more. A cosy wee place with colourful bright decor and staff. The shakes are amazing with great flavour. The choices of shakes, smoothies and Juices is wide and varied. The place is worth the 500+ miles trip maybe next year alone. This is the first food/ drink place we mention to family and friends when talking about the Newquay food scene.

We loved this place, and the people working here. My missus is allergic to dairy, and was chuffed to see dairy free milkshake options - especially with Oreos which are her favourite. I enjoyed my milkshake an ice cream we regularly got here. Definitely worth popping in if you are in the area!

The staff at Kook are wonderful, friendly and really caring for their customers. The choice of milkshakes is truly mind blowing and it took my youngest 10 minutes before he made his mind up and picked the marshmallow one. I saw lots of healthier option shakes on offer too for those who enjoy. The coffee I had was lovely too - one of the nicest Espressos to be had in Newquay. If you're visiting Newquay and are a fan of shakes then you simply must visit to experience. Thanks very much

Absolutely kick butt Bounty Shake with extra Coconut. Possibly the best Ice Cream based real Milkshake I’ve ever tasted. Absolutely insane.

The sun was shining and noticed this place from the corner of my eye. Great decor in n out. Real vibrancy. Served by Helen, great customer service. Had a smoothie as well as a 'fresh' juice mixture!! Really refreshing.

We come to Cornwall every year for years and we always head to Kook the staff are the loveliest people and the drinks are just amazing everything from hangover cures to energy boosts to every milkshake you can imagine like wispa, mars bar and others! If you come to Newquay and don’t get at least one drink from here you’ve missed out!!

Found this little gem whilst walking around Newquay. I’m not normally that impressed with service or establishments, but this place was exceptional. The lady owner was very friendly and took the time out to engage my 2 yr old girl.

We sometimes take our boys (4 & 6) to Kook for a treat. They love the smoothies and ice creams. They've got a great selection and really engage with the kids, asking them what they like and then suggesting what to try! I've been meaning to write a review for a while but today I made a point of doing it... When we stopped in today they gave us a locals discount which meant our total was below the £5 card limit, we didn't have any cash and without hesitation the lady that served us (sorry I didn't get your name) said "just drop the money in next time"! It's customer service like that that sets places like Kook apart and keeps people coming back... and the amazing milkshakes!!

Me and my boyfriend come up to Newquay once or twice a year with friends and we look forward to coming here everytime! It’s always really nice and the staff are lovely

Just checked bank account and was charged 9.60 instead of 6.90 so be aware this was a treat for my kids for the hard work they did on the campsite. Was this a mistake or a regular thing to make more money as you will only see when you get home from your holiday !! Be aware peeps

Great spot for a refreshing juice. Love that the owner grows her own produce for the juices! Owner also working on sourcing the right paper straws and other environmentally friendly items...what is not to like about this juice and ice cream shop!

Wether it’s a ice cream, sorbet, milkshake or a healthy juice/smoothie. Hot weather, cold weather, rainy day or hungover. This place is FAB for all. They have such a big range of options and they allow you to make your own drinks too by mixing items you want. I rarely drink so a hangover isn’t something I nurse often, but their hangover cure juice is my favourite.

I have walked past this place so many times wanting to go in but have been put off by how busy it was. I can now see why it’s so busy and popular.

My family popped in here on a warm day for a couple of smoothies and milkshakes. Everybody went away happy, especially when disaster was averted by the owner who gave my daughter a free re-fill after she tripped over with her milkshake within about three seconds of getting it!

I visit Kook quite regularly for their amazing milkshakes, the hardest part is deciding which flavour to go for! The staff are always happy and friendly. They also do a variety of healthy juices & smoothies which I am yet to try. I would definitely recommend the Oreo milkshake. Great value for money!

Great place to stop and sit on a warm day and have a nice ice cream or milkshake. You can sit on the stools outside and watch the world go by. Also really impressed that they offer non-dairy options and healthy choices too! The staff were really friendly.

Stopped in recently for a Smoothie with my friends and couldn't have been any happier with Kook's variety of consumables on offer! From Milkshakes made with chocolate bars to breakie shakes and ice cream on its own! It's perfect for anyone here in Newquay during its hot summers :D

Best smoothies in town, may have a little wait but worth it and you get a large for a regular if your a local. Lovely friendly staff and happy atmosphere.

Everytime we come to Newquay we always visit this amazing shop. Coconut frozen yoghurt to die for. Really, really friendly staff. Do NOT walk past this shop ! This is how all small business's should be.

I had a terry's chocolate orange milkshake and it was heavenly. Affordably priced and the woman serving was very friendly and we had a nice chat!

Was in desperate need of a drink after shopping around Newquay all day and I randomly craved a smoothie. Kook was the perfect solution. Smoothies were reasonable and affordable - they also do milkshakes and frozen yoghurts and a few other things.

Really glad I found this place as the juices on offer were really nice. It was great to also learn that the fruits used in my juice was actually picked from the owners garden on the same morning. This made it taste even better :) Friendly staff and a relaxed place to be with the only downside being its location on the corner of a junction between two roads. However a must if you are in Newquay.

We had ice creams, milkshakes and a green juice. All were lovely and the staff were super friendly. The lady who served offered suggestions with the juice and went out of her way to help.

This small juice bar is conveniently located in the centre of Newquay. It serves a wonderful range of healthy drinks (smoothies, juices etc) in addition to other less healthy options (chocolates and ice cream). The young lady who served us, in addition to being very friendly and polite was also very knowledgeable about the range of products on offer. She offered free tap water when I asked for just water, but was also able to persuade me to try a juice blend drink. There is a very limited amount of outdoor seating, but even if it is busy, the sea front is just round the corner, so it is possible to enjoy your drink sat whilst appreciating the view.

Really nice, quality shakes! We had a naughty Cadbury caramel & a Strawberry one, both was nice. £3.95 for the large ones - worth it.

We just wandered in off the street - their shop just seemed so inviting. It took a while to get our heads around the impressive array of options. Not having precisely what I wanted the owner ran down the road to two different local sweet shops to buy the Bournville chocolate I now craved in my milk shake.

The owner is an absolutely lovely girl from Montreal, her hubby is around as well, and their offered us such a lovely warm welcome, that even my 3-year-old tantrum-prone daughter loved it :) My husband had the latte, I had the chai latte, and they were soo good, that we came back for more this morning. This is such a feel-good place, and we can't wait to go back for more. I only wish it wouldn't take us 5-hour drive as we live in London.
