The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Used this place some years ago and always very satisfied but not any more. Waited 30 minutes for 2 portions of fish and chips which were terrible. The fish was dry and had no taste. The chips were like cardboard and couldn’t be eaten. All in all a disaster that we will not be repeating anytime soon.

Great fish restaurant, we often visit when we are in Sleaford and it does not dissapont. Good food freshly cooked and great staff.

Popped in for a small order, less than £10 two young girls serving were constantly messing with their phones whilst trying to serve people. Language was awful Infront of customers, horrendous way to run a business. Food weirdly wasn't too bad.

First visit ever having lived in the vicinity for a number of years. Ordered fish and chips (hardly a surprise for them I wouldn't have thought!!) The result was over-cooked, hard and tasteless. Mediocre would be a compliment. Avoid!

Always been a great chippy for as long as I can remember. The best in cromer by a country mile. Based on personal experience

Beautiful gem of a restaurant. The food was amazing (mussels best we have ever had) and the service was brilliant. Chloe is an asset to the team. From walking in all the staff make you feel special and the decor is lovely.

Live locally and use this fish and chip shop regularly. Never had a bad meal. Lovely friendly people and good food. Steak and ale pie is great.

Went in after a long walk with my son’s dog. Popped in on the way back. Had the two course menu at £20, beautifully prepared and great tastes. Made most welcome, a lovely lunch.

Well like all the many other reviews this place is HUGELY overpriced ! and the food is worse than a prison meal ! The main photos of them lovely long chips and thick fish with batter is NOT what is being served ! £24+ for 2 cod + chips. The 'cod' if there actually was any inside the overcooked batter ! The batter was overcooked and tastless. No tissues given, just sheets of greaseproof paper, like the old school toilet rolls. The chips were all small, burnt or what you'd find in the corner of a well used fryer ! The seating is terrible as you need to wedge your body in and out of the tiny gaps at the tables. This was 'supposed' to be a memorable meal ! Totaly ruined ! We were so angry the food quality was disgusting and we had paid over £24 for it ! We almost got charged 50p !!!!! for a small sachet of tomato sauce. If so many people are reviewing the same 1 star about the food quality and lack of fish.....SORT it out ! Stop ripping people off !

Didnt want our service as they were too busy to take orders over the phone even though this is our regular chippy and we are good customers we will be going somewhere else in future

Absolutely class best fish and chips shop I have ever been to. 5 star Costumer service 5 star food always good portion and the young man there is very polite.

This was a surprise find. I was actually on my way to a well known noodle restaurant when I came across this little beauty! Spent many happy hours at the OB in Cape town down at the V &A and having checked it was the same chain. I went in! For a Monday it was busy - yes they had an offer on - but I did notice that most people were eating the platters. Very friendly staff, very nice vibe, not too noisy but busy enough to make it enjoyable. Food came freshly cooked, really tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. I had the fried haddock and fries, with a side of grilled veg. Really good value for money and amazing. Would definitely would recommend!

I've been meaning to visit Bloom since it opened but never found the time. My daughters birthday gave us the opportunity so booked a table. Arrived and the welcome was beyond friendly. I had written in the notes on booking that it was my daughters birthday, and she was brought a virgin cocktail with sparklers. Nice touch. Ordered 2 sharing platters between 4 of us, and all I can say is the food and portions service all perfect defiantly the best we ve eaten in Middlesbrough all agreed . there was so much food that had to put some sides on another table. We had 2 desserts and again my daughter was comped making her feel special. We had a bottle of red and some soft drinks and bill reasonable could nt get 4 meals in a rubbish chain carvary for what we paid. Well done to the chefs and front of house for the experience and would defiantly recommend.
