Thornton Fisheries in Wyre

Went in today ( 07/01/24 ) with a friend for something to eat and before we had finished our meals had the shock of seeing mice running around the place coming from the direction of the kitchens. Something of an health and safety issue I would think and a food standards red flag. Wonder if the same is happening in the other venues next door and across the road under the same ownership. Apparently the same issue happened earlier in the day and they obviously didn't think of closing until the problem was sorted.

My partner went in here a couple of days back to get some chips and curry sauce on his lunch break. What he was given was a small portion with disgusting looking sauce full of raisins in it. He went back to question it and was met with nothing but attitude. The old woman working there mocked him asking if he'd like just "chips and more chips" and told him "whatever" like a stuck up child. At this womans age she should really know better. Quite embarrassed for her to be honest behaving like that in public. He was refused a refund even though the so called curry sauce was swimming in raisins. Why not make it known the sauce has this? So he paid for the most vile looking food from a vile old woman and a guy who clearly doesn't know how to make edible food. He left the shambolic chippy with nothing but disappointment and an empty belly. There is nothing they can say to defend themselves on this situation, they weren't willing to be kind or helpful at all, just mocked him and spoke to my partner like dirt. So they can keep their horrid food, disgusting attitudes and my partners money since they refused to refund, he certainly won't be back. That horrible old woman is enough to put you off even the most delicious looking meal. They don't seem to have the ability to serve this though.

Much to my surprise this place has changed and I got a highly recommended hot fish and chips. Smiley girl at the till and a busy man doing deliveries. I will return because is nearer than the other Chippy I used to go when this one was not as nice as now

Called here for the first time in ages, as my wife pointed out it had won awards for the quality of its fish and chips. Well, that must have been in the past. The guy serving was pleasant enough, but the place was dark and he seemed uninterested the lunchtime we arrived. Asked for two small fish and chips Lightly battered..What a mess. Lukewarm chips and very small fish in thick batter...Not nice at all. I don't know where the awards came from, but at this rate, they will be hemorrhaging customers..We shall certainly NOT return

Not impressed, service slow and had to repeat myself, girls serving were inappropriate at times with behaviour ie complaining about more orders! Got our order wrong even though there was only 2 customers ordering it’s not hard to remember when it’s written on the ticket. I won’t be coming here again!

We ordered 1 fish, 1 scampi, 1 mushy peas and a small chips for delivery. The delivery was very quick and efficient. The fish was rubbery - overcooked. The scampi was reformed something which looked and tasted nothing like real scampi. The mushy peas were a sort of brown mush. The chips were a large portion of very basic standard chips How Thornton Fisheries ever won an award I cannot understand if this is their regular service.

I asked for one large haddock, one standard haddock and a standard portion of chips. I asked for the fish to be lightly battered. When the assistant was going to wrap them, she had to ask the fryer which was which and when I got home, I realised why. Both fish were the same size and not that big. Although I asked to be lightly battered, the fish were covered in thick, undercooked and very greasy batter. The fish itself tasted awful, as it had perhaps been frozen. The chips were full of grease and totally inedible. Most of our meal was put in the bin, so I'll not be returning there. Be warned.... the fish and chips from this place are overpriced and rotten!

Bought fish and chips - asked for scraps with it (which was not on menu ) - was charged an extra £2.20 for a few scraps ! The fish and chips were not very good.

After waiting an hour for two portions of chips one salt and pepper the other plain and a large curry. I phoned the store only to be told my order had been out for delivery for 5-10 minutes. Surprising then to wait another 30 minutes for the driver to turn up considering the takeaway was a 10 minute drive away.Waiting on the door step I'm confronted with my takeaway driver swinging my food around by the knot trying to read the numbers of the house as he walks down the street.I've wait an hour and a half at this point so I was a little annoyed already, only to open my order and find two plain chips. One that has and I kid you not been topped with a stupid amount of salt and black pepper. I think an £1 extra for them to ruin my second portion of chips and call it salt and pepper chips is a little cheeky.Not as cheeky as the person in the takeaway who after hearing of my complaints on the phone said "We are really busy what do you want me to do" Apparently the concept of an apology had never occurred to her. It was not that the food was terrible it was and that sometimes happens, it's the bald face cheek to argue that a 90 minute wait and a brain dead delivery driver buggering about with my order on top of the poor food as a whole was in anyway defendable. Yet the person on the end of the phone consistently made excuse after excuse. The fact this was the reaction shows to me, that it isn't a one off and that they are likely just very poorly staffed top to bottom.

Was working locally so called in for a fish. Wish i hadn't. The batter was terrible and greasy. The fish had a taste that wasn't right. Not sure what fish they used but it was just a big lump of something. Wont use again

Usually go to Cleveleys but thought I would give it a try. Chips expensive, undercooked and not at all crispy. Small sign on door only 3 people in shop -fine I was the third. Guy arrives with child makes 5 - no attempt from staff to ask him to wait outside. Whilst being served 2 more entered, nothing said. No attempt to control numbers unlike other establishments so wont be back.

Worst fish and chips I’ve had for some time. The Haddock was hard and grey and tasted like frozen fish, the batter was thick and greasy. The chips were dry, the meal went in the bin, won’t be returning. It was also more expensive than others chip shops in the area.

Tried Thornton Fisheries as our usual chippy is shut and missing our regular fish and chips. Not impressed, fish very greasy, chips not crisp and tasty. Food lay heavy on stomach. Won't be back.

We ordered a haddock each for delivery and what a disappointment. It certainly didn't taste anything like haddock and the batter was soggy and greasy. We certainly won't be ordering from them again. On the plus side, the dog enjoyed the fish and the gulls enjoyed the batter.

Popped into my local chippy as I just fancied some chips with my lunch. I handed over two pound coins and asked for small chips. The lady behind the counter asked for another 10p. I said "£2.10 for small chips?" She answered yes. My reply was "How much? No thanks I'll not bother." £2.10 for small chips, really! Sorry, won't be calling again. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask. Keep up those prices and you'll be closing permanently! People will cotton on quickly. Oh and I got some lovely chips from another chippy for in Carleton £1.50 Disappointed to say the least.

Visited here for a sit-in lunch. Ordered two small fish and chips on the meal deal which included bread and butter, mushy peas and hot or cold drink. The meal deal costs £6.95 for small haddock and extras. The service was pleasant and attentive. When the meal came, it was delicious and piping hot. The haddock was cooked perfectly and there was plenty to eat for a small portion. Only a small gripe in that the eating area was a little on the cool side, however it is December and we were the only midweek diners. Would recommend as a good, value for money meal.

Not been for some time but fancied fish and chips with Mrs. Excellent portion of haddock and please were mushy to say the least. Chips were ok. Had meal item "medium haddock". Recommended. Chips could have been better, bitty and slightly overcooked. Bright young waitress attentive and polite.

First visit back for takeaway after a year or so absence following a few poor takeaway meals from here. I'm afraid the food hasn't improved at all - chips just as pale and flabby as ever and peas like bullets. Fish was OK though.

We arrived to smiling friendly faces very welcoming. Food great fresh and tasty . I’m not sure why peas need be in separate dish, it seems a trend , just more washing up !!

This is my local chippy and I was told about it when I first moved to the area. I can't fault it at all. I don't go often but when I do its always a treat. The fish and chips are spot on and although I have not used it, there is a restraunt in the back too.Highly recomended for that Friday chippy tea :)

I haven’t been here for a while so I thought that I would give it another go.

I usually go to a rival Chippy in Thornton but found myself just round the corner from Thornton Fisheries when it was time to go home so decided to give it a try. I got a take away a few years ago and was disappointed but thought I would give them another try. I wish I hadn’t. The chips were scrappy, and the fish was discoloured and mushy (Haddock should be white and flakey). It will take a long time (if ever) I return to this chippy for food.

Fantastic fish and chips in the restaurant. Very fresh and cooked to perfection. The batter was crispy. The cod was huge ! My friends small haddock and chips was really good.

Visited this chippy with visiting friends. We all had a meal deal, fish chips peas bread and butter and a mug of tea or coffee for about £9.

Called in here and was slightly reluctant to go as it has changed hands and was previously very good.

Please don't spoil it by loading peas on top of chips for takeaways. It ruins the chips and looks awful. Not your usual standards.

I have found the restaurant to be much better since it has changed hands, the chips are used to be often hard in the middle and burnt on the outside I would now recommend this more than the other local chip shops the staff have also improved the ladies in there before were not particularly welcoming. Let’s hope it stays this way

I have used this chippy for a couple of years and have to say that I think it’s better than ever. Food is consistently good and the service is great. Keep up the good work!

After swearing I’d never go again my husband said he fancied fish n chips so he phoned them and had it delivered and omg what an improvement, the fish was cooked nicely and the chips were much improved with good taste and colour and not a raw one in site . Delivery was quick and driver polite so well done Thornton fisheries meal enjoyed.

Ordered on just eat. Probably the best fish and chips we have ever had. Arrived before time. Fish was lightly battered and amazing. Chips were lovely and the curry sauce was good too. Couldn’t comment on the staff apart from the delivery guy was very friendly. Will use again 100%. Keep up the good work guys xx

We often use Thornton Chippy for takeaway, it is our favourite Chip Shop in the Area by far, we travel 7 miles to get there & there is many chip shops closer!

Only customer in there and after repeating my order 3 times, inattentive staff were abrupt on the point of rudeness. Voted with my feet and went to Seniors instead where customers were queuing out of the door. Speaks for itself.

I always ask for no vinegar and tiny bit of salt but no matter how I word it they always empty half bottle of salt on it. Fish is always nice but chips are kinda hit and miss. last time I even had few hard, uncooked ones...

The staff are friendly and helpful but since the management change the food isn’t so good . Fish isn’t very crispy though I have it lightly battered and the chips seem only to be half cooked in fact I’ve had one or two raw ones in my order , therefore I don’t go very often. Sorry I don’t enjoy the food anymore.

Always used this chippy for years. Had family over on Monday who all wanted these fish and chips as always been so good in the past. Bought fish and chips for 11 people on arriving home the carrier bags were literally swimming in oil which had leaked from the polystyrene fish boxes! In fact it leaked over a present in the boot of the car. The fish inside was beautiful but put off by all the grease.

I go here when I fancy a chippy, but I think I’ll be going elsewhere from now on. Usually they do really good chips. But this time they were just awful. I had to pick out the chips that looked half decent to eat and threw the rest away. Wish they’d do fresh chips more often. Nothing worse than chips that have been sat there for a while. Shame really as it’s usually a good chippy!

We visited on Saturday and the food was hot and lovely the young girl was nice and friendly. The price was okay will be visiting again

La calidad y las porciones de tamaño en este lugar tiene tristemente disminuida. Casi 3 libras, 00 para un chips grandes me temo Un timo total. El pez grande es el tamaño de un pez normal hace 3 años! Cuando impugnada, el personal dijo que el precio del pescado ha ido a través de la azotea! En realidad, viniendo de una familia de pesca el precio de bacalao ha caído. La codicia ha echado raíces de este lugar. ¡Qué lástima!

He visitado este chippy en numerosas ocasiones desde finales del año pasado y tengo que decir que la comida es muy agradable y fresco. Las señoras encantadoras Marie Claire y siempre son muy amables y son un gran crédito a la tienda de chips. Servicio al cliente perfecto y una comida fantástica. ¿Qué más quieres.

Este es siempre el fish and chips que uso para tomar un té preparado para llevar. El personal en el mostrador siempre es agradable y siempre tendrás tu orden justo, a diferencia de otras tiendas. Yo recomendaría como la comida siempre es preciosa y todo lo que pide al personal nunca es demasiado! Un 1 en toda la zona de Thornton/cleveleys. Mandy x

Voy aquí mucho. Me encanta la tarta de queso y cebolla y el abadejo siempre es agradable y me gusta mucho, pero no volvería. Me pasó por conseguir algo de comida y cuando les pregunté si querían sal y vinagre me dijo que sí, pero en el último segundo dijo en uno como mi hija es celíaco y no tiene cebada vinagre de malta. La señora tenía agrupadas la comida juntos lo vinagre duró toda. En lugar de ser agradable ella fue muy brusco y avergonzados delante de los otros clientes. Ella dijo que no tenía que cambiar las patatas fritas pero lo pero fue mi culpa. No paraba de decir cómo tendrían que ser cambiadas y continuó para regañar a mí mientras que ordenemos un poco más. Aunque puedo aceptar errores no creo que ella es muy orientados hacia el cliente. Yo siempre he viajado pasado otras dos tiendas chip para ir allí, pero no más y tampoco lo hará a mis padres y otros miembros de la familia. Es una pena porque la comida es buena. La señora taller con pelo estaba bien allí. net

Decidimos que si el tiempo era decente el miércoles sin ir en coche a la costa de fylde y tienen un pescado y cena con chip, hemos hecho esto en varias otras ocasiones, pero esta vez decidimos probar una corriente diferente, examinamos las críticas y me pareció que Thornton pesquerías merecía la pena probar - y lo que la derecha!

Metimos en para llevar en una época de té el viernes. Orden puesto que no tuvimos que esperar mucho antes de que la orden estaba listo se sirve recién hecho comida caliente, de buena cantidad y calidad. La comida servida en el cartones biodegradables solicitada.

This is by far the best chip shop in the area. As a previous review said, "possibly in the UK"!We eat here every single Friday night. We have tried all of the chip shops in the Over Wyre, Poulton, Thornton & Cleveleys area. There is non that come close to the consistent quality of the meal that we get here. The staff are lovely, they know mine & my children's names, they make a real fuss of them. Tonight we had a special treat and ate in. Such a good quality fish and chip meal, mushy peas, bread & butter with a lovely cup of tea. The serving staff just as nice and even the chefs stop to have a chat! Very pleasant friendly environment to eat, interesting local photos on the walls, super clean and the toilet accessible for small children. Well done Thornton Fisheries!

Four of us went to this chippy/ diner in Thornton, we had the small fish and chips at £6 pp, lovely fish great chips, excellent service, fantastic menu, lovely staff cannot fault it

Visited on many occasions when in the area. Whether eat in or takeaway, this is the best fish and chips - ever. Anywhere. Well that's our view, anyway. Plaice is beautifully cooked with amazingly crisp, light batter. Chips are spot-on. It's such a simple dish, but most restaurants get it wrong. Not this place. They've got a winning formula of a great product and great service. It's a wonder whether there may be more Thornton Fisheries rolled-out. There should be. I believe that they have even served a gluten-free option on certain days. If they promoted that a little better, people would be queuing round the block. Try this restaurant (or takeaway) and you will return.

Sometimes nothing else but a chippy dinner will do. Took my father in law here for lunch today & we all orders the fish & chip special, with peas or curry sauce, bread & butter and a drink. Great value at only £8. Our meals arrived promptly with the fish lightly battered as requested. The fish was beautifully cooked with the batter being crisp and light. Mushy peas and curry sauce both delicious & a plentiful supply of chips. Great service to boot. Highly recommenced!

mmmmm went here one teatime for a bag of chips and a barm cake, a little pricey but that said the quality is in the eating, sat in y car, built my chip barm cake and scoffed, when i had finished, i had to say that it was a really nice chip butty, chips were really nice, best in the area for sure

This has always been our favourite chippy and continues to be top of the list. We have never been disappointed with the Fish and Chips and whether it be a takeaway or an eat-in experience they are always good. The staff are friendly and the food is great. If you haven't tried this chippy then you really should!

Went here this evening ( Friday ) had a lovely fish meal all for £8 which included fish, chips choice of peas, gravy or curry b/ b and a cup of tea . The waitress was lovely and always makes you welcome . There is a ray of choice on the menu. They welcome children.

We have used this chip shop for a number of years. It is very good and remains very popular as was witnessed when I visited to order take away food on a busy Friday night. You will often see people Queuing out the door. The chip shop also has a small restaurant area, again, very popular.Food quality and quantity as good as any other 'chip shop' in the area - nothing special, just good.Mention has been made in other reviews about staff attitude, but I have just found the lack of customer interaction to be down to how busy they are.There is a notice on the wall to the left of of the counter advertising bio-degradable containers are available as a choice to the polystyrene containers usually provided - which I chose being an environmentalist - only to have them placed into a plastic bag, given that Thornton Fisheries have paper carrier bags........I think Thornton Fisheries should 'switch' to the bio-degradable containers (even if it puts a penny or two), ditch the plastic bags - and use this to advertise themselves as not only a good 'chippy' but, the first environmental chip shop in the area!

One of our regular haunts when we visit Blackpool, this does not disappoint most of the time. The fish is really fresh and they have a variety of specials. As I'm really fussy with cooking times, on this occasion, my hake was just a tad overcooked but the fish was still moist and wonderfully fresh.

Splendid fresh fish and a nice seating area in which to enjoy a great meal. One of the finest fisheries in the Fylde.

This place has been going for years and always delivers a first class fish and chippy experience. In this area they have great competition which is great because they have always kept a very high level of food and service. Recommended lunch or dinner.

Thornton Fisheries is exceptional including the staff they are always very friendly especially on the take out.The food is delicious and best for miles around eat your heart out Seniors you CANNOT beat this Chippie.They deserve lots more awards. Once you visit this Chippie you will not go anywhere else x

The food is delicious, the best for miles around, I can't fault the price either. Curry sauce is delicious and every meal we have had recently has been excellent. The only negative I have is the staff that serve. Not all of them but the younger ones can be catty and quite rude. They look completely disinterested in their job and sniggering between themselves like school girls puts me off going in. However when some of the more mature ladies serve it is much better.

Thornton is privileged to have two brilliant award-winning fish & chip shops. The other one won the national title a few years back but this is the champion chippy for me. The food is consistently top notch and expertly prepared. I like my batter on the thick side and this is perfect for me; crispy on the outside and just done in the middle. Fish is moist and flaky and always fresh. If you don't like thick batter, they will do a lightly battered to order. Chips perfectly cooked. Always a good sized portion and piping hot; never greasy.I always get take-away when I visit. The counter staff are friendly and efficient. there is often a queue but it moves quickly and you never have to wait long. I've never eaten in the dining area so I can't comment on that. I am no longer local and where I live the 'chippies' are the type that do everything: fish & chips, chinese, indian, burgers, pizza and kebab and none of it at all well. Thornton Fisheries is the yardstick by which I measure all others. Well done!

Visited Thornton Fisheries restaurant (THEY ALSO DO TAKE OUT) with members of the family. Our first visit, even for members of the family who live in Cleveleys. Only a small restaurant but with this quality of food(very reasonably priced) and the excellent friendly staff, it's one place you'll visit time and again.

We get take out from here whenever we fancy fish and chips. The food is always good (and hot!) Both the battered and breaded fish are nice, and the chips are great. Friendly service even when busy. Would definitely recommend!

Used this chippy for years before it was taken over by George and Paul. It has been the best chippy for fresh fish and chips round here for years since they taken it over.Sadly to say the last couple of times it's been terrible soggy greasy batter and mushy Good quality oil for deep frying naturally results in a premium end product. Ideal temperature for: French fries - 180°C. Fish - 160-170°C.Today just topped it the fish must of been there ages absolute terrible and the chips wasn't much better It's a shame that it's gone done hill recently I have always recommended to my friends how good it was give it one more chance don't let yourself a down....

Whether youare looking for a take away or restaurant then this is the place to visit for a beautiful meal - I have never had a meal yet which has not been first class. A sign of the quality is the fact that they do not have to open beyond 7pm

Visited on 8th Aug on takaway. Must say the family was very dissapionted with this visit. It used to be a lovely chippy. the batter was tasteless and soggy, the chips was tasteless and the peas was very salty. The barm cakes was stale obviously from the previous day.very moody looking staff. I feel bad about writing this review because we used to love this chippy. sorry guys

Best chippy by a mile!!!! Good food, really friendly, reasonably priced for what you get. Can not fault it and it puts another local well known chain of chip shops to shame!!

Quality of the food was excellent as always, staff friendly efficient and attentive and the dining room was spotlessly clean.

We always go here when we want a quick tea.the food is lovely and the portions are very generous.The menu is very varied,our son always has the chicken nuggets which he tells us are better than Mcdonalds!

Every single time these guys serve up consistent food,always tasty,always cooked well and excellent value for money.

Unfortunately the food is always of a very good quality but 1 member of staff needs to concentrate and listen instead of chatting amongst other members of staff, so much so that we haven't been back since October and am not going back

This is a very good chippy and as such is worth a visit if you are in the area.The portion sizes are good and the food freshly cooked and well presented.

I regularly have large fish and chips and peas from Thornton fisheries,when I say regular weekly for the last eight or nine years or So.the reason for going is the fantastic quality of fish and chips never varies always brilliant and I very much appreciate that Thornton has such a gem.my wife and I would go no where else.john H

Visited here recently whilst staying in a caravan in the surround area. The restaurant was clean, the lady who took our order was lovely and very chatty. My hubby and I had fish and chips they were delcious, the fish was lovely and white and was very tasty. Our son had a childrens meal which came in a box with activities in for them to take away. Both mums had steak pudding and chips which they said were good. When we are next in the area we will eat here again.

Again out for tea Friday's is fish and chips night. This is the place to go £8 for the fish deal excellent most enjoyable 100%

Chippy tea every Friday - we have visited them all and can safely say this is our favourite by far, reasonably priced and plentiful , always busy which is a good sign

Having recently moved to the Thornton area we decided to try our new local chippy whilst we were in the middle of unpacking boxes. It was a Saturday lunchtime, not particular busy at all and the staff who served us were very rude and simply seemed like they couldn't be bothered to serve us. We had two young children with us who were laughing and joking and usually people smile and make gestures when children are there but not even a smile was cracked. We had sausage, fish and chips between us, the food was average but have certainly has better fish and chips elsewhere. We will not be going back there on the fact the service was poor and we would prefer to spend our money elsewhere.

I discovered this little gem over 10 years ago, hoards of people waiting to be served hinted it was worth a visit.This is the best Fish & Chip shop in the North West, I have never had a bad meal there and I have to travel over 30 miles to get there, it is well worth the trip, you will not be disappointed.

Each year we go to Blackpool lights (usually on the same night as Halloween, so as to avoid it!) and we select a chippy to go to each year, before we head off to the lights.Unannounced, a family of thirteen arrived on Friday, 31st October for our evening chippy meal.Upon walking into the restaurant, we were asked how many there were of us and within a minute the friendly staff were rearranging the tables so that we could sit together.The orders were swiftly taken by a team of 3 waitresses and the food soon followed. The food was excellent. The fish was fresh and thick, and the batter was crispy and tasty. The chips were thickly cut and cooked to perfection.We discovered that the produce they use is locally sourced and you can tell!As an added touch, the two youngest members of the family each received a free drink and small chocolate bar.Due to the quality of the food and service, I expect that this will be the chippy of choice for next year. We had a delicious fish and chip supper last night at Thornton Fisheries. We are so chuffed to find you as we visit the area quite regularly. (Although we would travel from Cheshire for your delicious fish) We intended to eat at Seniors before we took our 4 year old to see the Illuminations but they had coach trips etc so therefore a long wait. . Are we chuffed we didn't bother to wait there and tried you. The service and food is fantastic . Thank you to the lady who served us. She was lovely with our granddaughter. See you again soon and thank you so much.

Best chippy in thornton, eat in or take away there's no difference, no wonder people que out of the doors

Called in for sit down tea with our young family on trip to Blackpool lights. Lovely warm welcome and friendly waitress and staff. Fish and chips were delicious. Very fresh and perfectly cooked. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommended.

My wife and i visit here regularly and they are best fish and chips in the north west lovely chips , mushy peas and fresh fish non of that FROZEN AT SEA CRAP that other fellow chippys have locally and serving up. The staff at thornton fishery give a friendly atmosphere when eating in ....

Do u know I just wasn't to say I wud travel anywer for ur food ther is no place like it we live next door to seniors and the food I crap no taste chips like rubber cheap oil we drive to u why the taste why an award should be given for ur food and we mean this and I will tell u between here and Glasgow no one comes quite near u but in glasgow our food is lovely we also get special fish which is beautiful very tasty nice oil fresh we demand fresh oil and we get it no fooling around only the best but u got the best fish in the north west keep on doing it we wish u had more than one shop in b pool or cleveleys poulton one shop it's not enuf we need more of this forget ramsdens it's crap just a name oil is terrible no taste Pisces is good but u are Better thanx

We go regularly to Thornton Fisheries and like most places they have their off days. Lynne is always cheerful and helpful and the food is usually very good. I usually go for Halibut which is very very good.On the whole this is our choice of Fish and Chip shops on the fylde coast, and there are hundreds to choose from..........it has no pretentious, just good wholesome food at reasonable prices.

People have been going on about this place so thought we would give it a try... It's clean and the food is ok? Nothing special just ok? The staff have no idea how to communicate with customers the service is appalling ... There was either a problem within the staff or they are just pissed of working ... Janet and Claire were too busy telling each other to count to 10 thousand under there breath than smile and take customers orders ... We ordered haddock it was fresh but bland watery and not much taste, mushy peas got put in the bin, chips were nice and so was the gravy ... Again if the staff had been more welcoming then we might of given this place another chance but we have had better service at a drive through!!

Simple fish and chip shop with basic restaurant in the back. Excellent fish and chips, thin crisp batter especially good. Recommended

Great food, fair price, very clean, staff friendly, will come again and recommend to friends. Keep up good work!
