shocking ive never had worse 100% disappointing

We we are stopping in our motorhome Gino D’CampoVan and they delivered to us on central drive carpark and I have to say it’s the nicest fish & chips with curry we have had in a very long time 10/10 thank you we will can highly recommended this takeaway you won’t be disappointed!!!!

We’d had the special 2 small fish and chips, b&b and tea £10 one child had a burger meal the other a kids meal, great value, came to just over £20 with drinks. The lady who served us was very friendly and the food was lovely. We will definitely go back

Came after seeing reviews on Tuesday at 7:30pm to find it closed. Maybe you should look at changing your opening hours online

Worst fish (if this could actually be called fish) and chips ever, late cold very poor quality!! Avoid at all costs!!

Visited and was totally shocked at what I saw. Premises needs a major de-gunge and bringing up to a safe hygiene level. As for the chips, they were warm ups so I dred to think how long they had been sat there. I really do think environmental health need a trip here.

One of the best value chippys in Fleetwood. There seems to be a far better selection in person, rather than ordering online. It looks like they have a nice new "special offers" board when you go in (replacing the old 'white board'), which usually has some reasonably priced deals. The food can be quite hit or miss in terms of quality, but you can't expect a michelin star meal on a budget. It fills a hole and that's all that really matters. The staff are extremely friendly and always make you feel welcome. Ron (if he isn't speeding around Fleetwood delivering himself!) and Jean are very chatty, as are the other people who tend to come and go, and it gives the place a real 'community' feel as a result. They do have a dining room if you prefer to eat-in too, which is always a welcome bonus if you're coming on a day trip to the town.

Used to be good....2 fish and chips take out nearly £20 and the chips were like they were from 2 days ago. Used to go alot but definitely not the same

Always great fish and chips, always a reasonable price, affordable.. It was a very cold wet Wednesday afternoon, very quite in Fleetwood., the the cafe wasn't as busy as normal. But still great.

Just been to Fleetwood for a walk and decided to get fish and chips to eat on prom, wish I'd had my phone on me to take photo it was disgusting. Half cooked soggy fish batter and chips were reheated numerous times they were soggy and dark brown I didn't even attempt to eat them. So £9 thrown straight in the bin never again will I go there. Don't waste your money🤢

Disgusting, visited twice both times chips were burnt and tasted of burnt grease won't go again

Had 2 small fish n chips and 1 normal. Tea and bread for under £20 !!! Staff were lovely and the food was wonderful .

Terrible portion size £2.50 for a regular chips which was smaller than a cone. Taste was ok. Looked like the warm tray was falling to pieces and cant say the conditon of the place inspired me or that we'll come back

They always say, take a look at the people before you eat the food . It was the worst place I've seen in Fleetwood in 28 years. God help my stomach the next day

Very poor, chips multi coloured some soft some hard some raw,fish nice size but tasteless,but haddock is a bit like that brown sauce that tasted unlike any brown sauce I've ever had ,very pleasant staff ,poor quality produce⁰

Please don't waste your time or money eating here. I don't even know how this place is still open. Went in for breakfast as they advertise they do. The place is filthy, dirty tables, stock just lying around. The food was so bad we walked out. Bacon swimming in a yellow grease, cold beans, a sausage and a fried egg with bread and butter, they don't do toast. Greeted by two people who were most unwelcoming. Please avoid.

Typical fish and chips shop but the pension special is a good size . Everything freshly cooked.

Arrived 20 minutes late food was hot fish was ok but the chips were terrible looked as though they had been reheated definitely not fresh tried it because of a certain website on recommend but will stick to our usual shop in thornton in future

We ate in the restaurant and orders 2 meals with drinks and bread and butter When the tea and coffee came, it tasted funny, not nice at all the food was not the usual quality either , very greasy batter and thin fish and the chips did not taste right, however this could have been due to drinking bleach, that was in the cups, they obviously had been cleaning the cups in bleach and not rinsed them properly, as when I got out side and almost got home in the car noticed I had a bleach stain on my top at the bottom edging , which had gone through to my leggings As you can imaging how shocked I was, thinking off drinking bleach, never mind the cost of my clothes to replace them, but it has now been 2 hours since being in there and I still cannot get rid of the taste in my mouth of bleach I have tried to phone the chippy, but the manger is not in, I did not go back at the time as I was too shocked , but think they need to know , if a child had drunk this it could have been very serious

Authentic chippy at bargain prices. We can't keep away from here! Give them a try, you won't regret it.

My son and I were in the area and went here for lunch. We ate inside. I had the fish special, which was fish, chips, peas, bread and butter and a drink for £6.50 and my son had scampi, chips and gravy (defo bisto gravy!) and a drink. Came to under £15 and was absolutely delicious 😋 2 empty plates afterwards! Staff were lovely, polite and helpful. Would definitely go there again, if in the area.

Had a really nice fish from here . Nice friendly staff. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that the forks are a bit small . Would recommend it and if I was in Fleetwood woul go into the cafe.

Very greasy soggy chips fish edible but cooking oil needed changing grossly over priced. Wont be going again. Ray and marie from Stockport. P.S. we gave the uneaten leftovers to our dog and he was later violently sick. Form your own conclusion

Went to check on our caravan in Fleetwood and went here with our friends as they do a small fish and chips for £1.50 lovely and ate in our car on asda car park

Mmm what can I say the gentleman sat behind the counter eating chips with his fingers then put fish in the fryer without washing his hands, old soggy chips that had obviously been sat for a while. I wouldn't recommend I won't be going back.

Fish batter was like a brick and 1 sausage was over cooked and the other looked cooked but was raw inside the only enjoyable part of the meal were the chips

Had the best Fish and chips in Fleetwood tonight .We choose to sit in and wasn't disappointed, £6.50 for Fish, chips,mushy peas ,bread and butter ,the portion was amazing and good value for money .The take out prices seemed very reasonable too.The staff were first class,and when back in Fleetwood will be visiting. 1O/10

Can be very hit and miss. Sometimes good sometimes very bad. Seems to be getting worse. Last fish and chips i had was very greasy. And full of black bits. Tried again after reading some reviews. Wish i hadn't. It was awful. Chips were like they had been left in the keep them warm area for hours.

Called in by chance after riding past on our motorcycles. My friend and I both ordered fish and chips, then sat outside on the tables and chairs provided. A very healthy portion of perfectly cooked chips and a large thick white fish in crispy batter. What's more the prices were very reasonable too. Heck even the sun was shining 😎 What more can you ask for 👍👍

Made a order and waited 2 hours with nothing. Rang them up as have 3 hungry kids and was told I can't be delivered to due to 1 cancelled order. Disgusting really making us wait 2 hours. Why accept the order or not simply call and explain.

No onions. The owner refuses to by onions. A hot dog with no onions and a burger without onions is not on. The chips are greasy. A tiny roll for a large hot dog. What a joke.

dropped by last week with my wife, both had regular fish and chips and the fish was huge{ just the job}, the chippy has the inside counter and a side side window so even with covid19 your not stood waiting long we took ours on the front at fleetwood and even the seagulls were well mannered, if you want excellent fish and chips here is the place to go

Really awful. Greasy, overcooked chips from very poor potatoes (full of eyes). Cheese pie was inedible. Even the barmcake looked like it'd been run over. Not adhering to any social distancing nor precautions such as face masks. Never again.

In past the food was to a good standard. Today, unfortunately it was below par. Ordered Fish, Chips & Gravy. The only thing made correctly was the gravy. Batter on fish was overcooked and hard, fish being too dry. Chips were underdone and hard, with a couple of chips green. Might have to look elsewhere for better standard 😩

Eaten in and had take away both always good. Today had the mini fish and chips to sit by the sea with for an afternoon treat. Again very nice and good value at £1.85 but peas were too sweet so will not have those next time. Lovely friendly ladies serving.

Friendly service and although the fish was fresh enough, it was overcooked for my taste. Chips looked rather limp and sad and mushy peas tasted of curry sauce! Perhaps the same spoon was used. As a result, it was on the sweet side. Shame.

Nipped in for a medium fish and chips to share with my son, fish and chips were both amazing, tasted really good, fish in my eyes could of been big enough for a large. Only thing that let them down was the fact everyone who worked there weren’t wearing hair nets when easily they all had long hair that could’ve fallen out.

Excellent home made cheese & onion pie but the chips were awful

We eat here when in Fleetwood. Normally we would give a 5 star but today the chips were luke warm and not the usual standard. We don't normally go as early perhaps reheated.

After visiting this chipshop every year for 22 years it has finally lost me.The jumbo is no longer 2 large fish or 1 real 20oz monster.Last year i thought maybe a bad one off but this year there was barely any fish under a mass of greasy overcooked batter!chips a stodgy mess.I could ignore the smell of damp in the past but not for a meal we all left.shame!The next chipshop up on the corner does what this place used too im afraid

Big portions and excellent value for money. The regular fish and chips, at £5.99, was plenty for me, you also get bread and butter as well as a choice of tea, coffee or other soft drinks. Only attempt the 20oz fish if you're willing to share, or you have a huge appetite (It is mahoosive, but still worth it)! Very friendly staff and clean dining area. The history of the owners is also worth a read.

As a family we come here quite often. It’s got some fantastic tasty fish,cooked perfectly. You can’t grumble at the prices either, £5.95 for fish,chips,peas and a drink. All served with a smile and a chat by the lovely Jean. It’s one of the best chippies we’ve been in. Love it

my burger was so small on the bun with grated cheese put on top and i asked for onions but she brought onion rings and it was supposed to come with salad and sauce but she only had lettuce,it .came cold.my partners cheese pie came without chips and a small tub of curry sauce and peas,no chips,she said oh did you want chips,were in a chippy for gods sake.the pie was discusting and they never appologised or knocked any money off the bill.i sent mine back then it came with lettuce and she melted the cheese this time but was still very dry,i would say stay away,they havnt got a clue at cooking or presentation,

The worst chippy iv ever been to I could make better chips at home I asked for a burger and chips and was given a solitary one wrapped in chip paper place looked dirty staff were not the best either avoid at all costs
