Travelled from South Wales to Fleetwood tried other fish & chip shops although good did not compare with Sharky'sThis has now become our go to place for a take away fish and chips whenever travelling Northwards in our camper ,staff amazing every meal has been excellent.

Bedtime fish & chips anywhere in the north west. Good portions and very good prices. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We make the journey from Wigan on a regular basis just to eat this excellent food. Would recommend to anyone.

I'd say they are the best chippy in Fleetwood! Lovely fresh Haddock & Prawns cooked to order, lightly battered and with a very generous portion of chips. The prawns came with a nice chilli dip. We also ordered a sausage and chips, which was also enjoyed and tasted how a chippy sausage should. Not overpriced and the service was friendly and quick despite several cars being parked up at the same time. Only gave it lower on the atmosphere rating due to it being just a car park!

This is a great little chippy . Both fish and chips were really tasty and staff were lovely. We will be back .

Called for lunch after walking dogs on beach, staff so friendly, got the halibut goujons, so much fish and so well cooked. Our first visit but certainly won't be our last even though we have to come from Preston, will recommend to our family and friends too.

Myself and a friend were looking about for a place to takeaway from and remembered shark chippy from the signs at the exit to ASDA. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would do so without another thought. Absolutely amzing food, fish and chips for under £10 anywhere is a struggle nowadays and especially not at the quality this chippy delivers. The fish was so creamy and smooth and was cooked fresh, the chips were 100% spot on.

Waited a year to eat here and eat the Halibut and chips absolutely fantastic coming agian on Thursday to try the salmon

As a former fishing town Fleetwood prided itself on great Fish and Chips. But recently the standard had dropped dramatically. However, the opening of Shark Chippy, opposite Asda on Dock Street, the standard has risen again. The fish is cooked to perfection, with batter just how it should be and the chips are perfect. The menu is large with an array of seafood available. The service is warm and friendly. You can sit in the warmth of your car whilst your food is cooked, and they call you once it is ready. All in all, a great take-away experience. Kevin

Noticed an ad on the wall of the fish shop for halibut goujons. Stopped in on my way back out from visiting Fleetwood market. The goujons were top notch and the chips were really good too. When you add in fair price and good service what's not to like?

Shark Chippy 01/10/2024 read the reviews and they wasnt wrong. Best fish n chips we have had fresh light fluffy chips no grease cod was succulent batter was light n crispy Mushy peas tasted like they should. Fruity curry sauce was very tasty. The plaice was lightly battered beautiful fresh and meaty Service was excellent ....the ladies serving were friendly chatty...... nothing was too much trouble. Service with a smile.... not often seen these days. A pleasure to see. Prices are very reasonable. Small seating area too. There is also a fresh fish shop on site. If there were more stars to give we certainly would. Well worth a visit. We shall be returning soon a credit to Fleetwood. Genuine review.

Went on a mystery drive from Stockport ended up in Knotts end and then drove round the estuary to Fleetwood and stumbled upon Shark Chippy!! Fantastic fish and chips sat on the prom nearby taking in the stunning evenings view!

I have to say. For someone who is not a big fan of chippy food. What a wonder meal. Couldn’t quite eat all the chips, very good portions and the staff are very nice, talkative and very welcoming. Will definitely be going back and trying more from the menu. Thank you very much and see you soon. X

Unfortunately this time the fish was tasteless and greasy.

You state that you are open until 7.30pm. I travelled from Bispham on Thursday 5th September 2024 and arrived at your counter at 7.20pm. Two young ladies were behind the counter. Before I had chance to place my order I was very promptly informed by one of these ladies that "We are now closed." I politely pointed out that the notice in front of me stated that the closing time was 7.30pm. I was then told that this was no longer the case. Extremely disappointing to say the least. I got back in my car. Whilst driving home along Poulton Road I discovered that Pisces Fish and Chip shop was still open until 8pm. I purchased my fish and chips there. I wasn't disappointed - beautiful food. This is a real shame. I would have previously highly recommended Shark Chippy. Alas this is no longer the case. If the notice in front of the shop states your closing time is 7.30pm then customers should be able to order until 7.30pm. Unfortunately I will not be returning.I will give my custom to Pisces on Poulton Road. I'm sure you will agree that the customer service level experienced at Shark Chippy was totally and utterly unacceptable!

This place is fantastic. The food is always freshly cooked and the fish specials are really good value for money. They have a great variety and you will not be disappointed. You will see us again and again.

Eaten here three times recently, once with my daughter, then once with nephew, then alone. Each time it was sunny so able to sit outside at tables and chairs provided. Quality of fish and chips superb, service excellent, my daughter was amazed at how fresh and delicious, nephew chomped his pie and chips in short time, ate every morsel. Unique setting, loved it, brilliant!

After reading other reviews I was expecting better. Service was slow despite plenty of staff and one of them kept rubbing their nose while waiting. Batter was soggy and not cooked through. Curry sauce was awful. Sausage wad good. Chips were OK. Price was good but I would rather pay more for better quality.

The food is excellent and not too expensive either and the staff Fay and Lou are both absolutely top notch and deserve a 100% pay rise - no kidding!

We've driven past this trailor van many times and thought wed give it a go today. Really lovely haddock and chips. Lightly battered and very tasty and crispy chips. The curry sauce was so tasty, the best I've had in years and the mushy peas were good too. Hoping to try the halibut next time. I'd started eating before remembering to take the pic, just a bit off the end. My portion was a medium size. Excellent quality take away chippy

Exquisite fish freshly cooked to order. Straight from the Dockside fish merchants. The specials they list really are luxurious, I had to try the wild Argentinian Prawns they did not disappoint. They transported me back to my childhood. The chips were excellently cooked. They weren't soggy and had wonderfully crisp edges. My dog loved the jumbo sausage. The curry sauce is a surprise in a great way. Fruity and tangy. I should have ordered 2! You MUST try it. The only downside was that on Google from a brief search looked like a sit in restaurant but it's not. It's a food truck but don't let it put you off, it's no ordinary food truck.

It's not often I'm speechless but... I've lived in blackpool all my life and a good chippy is hard to find. My family stopped here today after driving past last week and WOW! hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had! The food was all fresh and delicious. Not greasy and perfect amount of salt and vinegar. We'll be back soon!

Just called here for our tea on the way back from freeport. To say this was excellent is an understatement. This is the best fish and chips I have ever had. Freshly cooked to order and served by staff that are warm and welcoming. If your looking for good food at a good price, look no further. Went this evening with family and must say the food is amazing! Nice to see some food been cooked fresh and it’s very clean too. Simply the best Chippy in Lancashire. We drive from Lancaster for their incredibly fresh food, right by the harbour and the fish market. Everything is cooked fresh. The staff are awesome friendly and obliging. There is always a little wait but that’s because they’re obsessed with everything being perfect. The chips are always crispy and delicious. They use proper sarsons vinegar and the sauce are all amazing. The curry sauce they make is incredible - fruity, rich and spicy. Whatever fish you choose - it’s special. The Argentinian prawns are so special - get some of those too. In short - it’s the best chippy I’ve been too. Do not listen to the good reviews !! My family ordered from here after listening to the “brilliant reviews” we got battered sausage and chips, the batter on the sausage was just mush and chips were barely even cooked. With this I ordered a large fish which was meh as the batter was weirdly thin and not crispy. We also ordered chicken nuggets and chips and 2 cans of cola. The nuggets looked perfect, looked really nice and crispy. However, to top this all off, everything had been coated in vinegar, and I mean everything. We never asked for vinegar, they just dumped it on, even on my youngens meal! Only good thing out of this were the 2 cans of coke that we bought. Absolutely shocking, do not come here. What a Waste of £19

The fish is always fresh here and melts in your mouth but the chips aren't the best. No cod was available but other choices were. As far as a chippy goes it's the best we've found in the whole Blackpool area so would recommend it definitely and lovely friendly staff too 😊

Really fancied some seafood so ordered the seafood box, this included squid scallops and Argentina prawns and small chips. Got home and opened up the box of seafood with the chilli dip looked nice but when I took a bite the batter was just mush it was not cooked it went in the bin. Some of the chips were fine but a lot were full of eye's it all went in the bin Very disappointing 😞 the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just need to get the food right

On the day of passing my driving test we took a drive to Fleetwood and came across this little gem of a fish and chips unit just by the fish shop opposite Asda. 2 adults and a child were able to enjoy one large portion of fish and chips. It was amazing. Thank you

I called in Thursday to get haddock and Scollops and a sausage for the dog and it was lovely. Dog wasn’t happy he only got a sausage so went back and got him haddock and Scollops plus’s another for greedy guys ( me ) again perfect Called back Saturday 4th may haddock Scollops and haddock Goujons again gorgeous food so I’ll give 10/10 for them again food service and price all excellent and looking forward to visiting Fleetwood again for a treat. Ps just give the place a try and tell them Winston the dog sent you 🥰

The food was good and the staff are friendly too, once your order is ready they wave you to come and collect this saves you waiting outside in the cold or rain! This can get busy here so parking isn’t always free. Would we recommend this fish and chip shop yes overall everything was very good.

Ordered 2 medium fish and 1 small chips think they got it wrong way round as needed a magnifying glass to see the fish. Not as good as previous visits needs to buck up or loose out as lots of compettion nearby.

very disappointed today ordered 2 medium fish. when opened the box had 2 tiny pieces of fish smaller than a small portion from a previous visit. although the fish was coked well it wasn't what was expected and as we ate away from the site not feasible to take it back. doubt we will return

Unfortunately this was my first and last visit the fish was that soaked in fat the box it was put leaked all down my clothes and car dashboard fish went in bin
