In the area visiting friends and read the previous review. 1st time using this chippy. Excellent fish & chips , good portions and service . Would definitely use again when I'm passing again .

My first visit (and not the last!) for gluten free fish & chips - super quick service, chef very knowledgeable about allergens and food was delicious.

Very nice fish and chips, polite staff and ample parking. Good choice of food and cooked to perfection.

Superb quality fish and chips. Most importantly they do gluten free options for my wife lol which means I can have a chippy again whoop. And gluten free onions rings which my wife’s delighted at Staff super friendly and you can text orders to be ready at certain time

Really disappointing experience in every way. Waited nearly 45 minutes from ordering to receiving food, I presume due to staffing issues, but really unacceptable. At one point there were 13 people waiting for orders and they were still taking on more orders. When the food did arrive it was really poor. Soggy chips and the fish was sat in trays that had a pool of fat in with them. Really not good.

They put a big order together very quickly and the food was fantastic!

A top chippy the absolute best.

I went here for the first time today after reading the other reviews. I ordered the gluten free fish and chips which was cooked fresh while I waited. The fish was one of the best I have tasted after avoiding wheat for over 3 decades. In addition the member of staff was very nice and knowledgeable about food intolerances. I will definitely return and would recommend this to anyone with a gluten intolerance.

We ordered our chips and fish for collection last week. They were cooked to perfection. The chips lovely and brown sweet tasting potatoes and great fish and fishcake. Definitely recommend this!

Got in touch because husband has coeliac disease and needs gluten free. A speedy reply gave us the necessary instructions and then a text and phone call later we were ready for collection. The order was ready on time and piping hot, cooked to order. The meal was delicious and we wish we didn't live 150 miles away. Thank you so much.

Definitely the best and only chippie Fylde Coast. After Cornwall fresh quayside have found our fish home in Lancs. Excellent gluten free as well. Anyplace else (5) we have tried Fylde Coast has ended up in bin: no point.

The best chippy on the Fylde Coast in my opinion. Very competitive prices. The owner and staff are very friendly. They do some great offers too. We'll worth giving them a try. This is now my 'go to' chippy.

It was my first time at the Fish Bar and I must say that your Fish & Chips are awesome ,and my same order at Seniors would have been £3 more for large fish chips and curry sauce ,and no where near the same fresh quality of the Fish Bar ,well done ,looking forward to my next week

What a shame We have a few times, after recommendations, bought our fish and chips from The Fish BarGiven it was a Friday night and the current lockdown restrictions we thought it would be helpful to pre order our foodWe rang at 5.45 pm and placed order We were told to collect at 6.45We arrived on time and appreciate there may have been a short delayAs we waited and waited and waited other walk in customers arrived and were told their food would be ready in 15 minsAfter waiting 25 minutes (having already given an hours notice of our order) understandably we became a little upsetEffectively we waited 1 hour 25 mins for our food - unacceptableWhen we mentioned the delay the response was abrupt, basically tough !!!!It is such a shame that we will not be ordering any food from the Fish Bar in the futureThe 2* we have given is for the food itselfCustomer service - appalling

Visited the Fish Bar during a lunchtime on Wednesday. The Owner was exceptionally engaging, polite and a mine of local information which I baked. The food was fantastic, freshly cooked fish, with a Gluten Free option available and cheap compared to other local outlets. I have definitely found my ideal local Chippy and highly recommend it to all.

The best chippy in Blackpool, if not the fylde coast. We had 2 large fish and regular chips, and the fish were huge, and alot of chips for a regular size. Will definitely be going again.

Started going to this chippie a few months ago and it's brilliant - the fish is really meaty and the chips are beautiful, fried from fresh! The service is excellent - very friendly and quick considering it's all fried while you wait - and the prices are great! Can't recommend highly enough! 👍

After being a fussy eater and a lover of chips I would highly recommend this chippy. The chips were excellent not greasy or hard the peas were lovely. Portion sizes were good value for money. Good parking space. Very friendly staff. Very clean shop. Freshly cooked food. Will certainly be visiting again.
