We ordered our chips and fish for collection last week. They were cooked to perfection. The chips lovely and brown sweet tasting potatoes and great fish and fishcake. Definitely recommend this!

Definitely the best and only chippie Fylde Coast. After Cornwall fresh quayside have found our fish home in Lancs. Excellent gluten free as well. Anyplace else (5) we have tried Fylde Coast has ended up in bin: no point.

It was my first time at the Fish Bar and I must say that your Fish & Chips are awesome ,and my same order at Seniors would have been £3 more for large fish chips and curry sauce ,and no where near the same fresh quality of the Fish Bar ,well done ,looking forward to my next week

What a shame We have a few times, after recommendations, bought our fish and chips from The Fish BarGiven it was a Friday night and the current lockdown restrictions we thought it would be helpful to pre order our foodWe rang at 5.45 pm and placed order We were told to collect at 6.45We arrived on time and appreciate there may have been a short delayAs we waited and waited and waited other walk in customers arrived and were told their food would be ready in 15 minsAfter waiting 25 minutes (having already given an hours notice of our order) understandably we became a little upsetEffectively we waited 1 hour 25 mins for our food - unacceptableWhen we mentioned the delay the response was abrupt, basically tough !!!!It is such a shame that we will not be ordering any food from the Fish Bar in the futureThe 2* we have given is for the food itselfCustomer service - appalling

Visited the Fish Bar during a lunchtime on Wednesday. The Owner was exceptionally engaging, polite and a mine of local information which I baked. The food was fantastic, freshly cooked fish, with a Gluten Free option available and cheap compared to other local outlets. I have definitely found my ideal local Chippy and highly recommend it to all.

The best chippy in Blackpool, if not the fylde coast. We had 2 large fish and regular chips, and the fish were huge, and alot of chips for a regular size. Will definitely be going again.

Started going to this chippie a few months ago and it's brilliant - the fish is really meaty and the chips are beautiful, fried from fresh! The service is excellent - very friendly and quick considering it's all fried while you wait - and the prices are great! Can't recommend highly enough! 👍

After being a fussy eater and a lover of chips I would highly recommend this chippy. The chips were excellent not greasy or hard the peas were lovely. Portion sizes were good value for money. Good parking space. Very friendly staff. Very clean shop. Freshly cooked food. Will certainly be visiting again.

My family and I called in on our way home from shopping in poulton I was pleasantly surprised how clean and modern looking the shop was very stylish we all had fish and chips and I also tried the Irish curry the fish and chips were cooked to perfection and the curry was superb the staff are very friendly and well informed I would and do recommend this eaterie great value for money

I wouldn't recommend this fish and chip shop you are after good quality fish and chips. The shop is under new management and to be fair the service was alright, it was a little slow but everything was cooked to order so I can't really complain there. However it appears that the fryer is still finding his feet, the batter on the fish wasn't crisp, it was thick and gloopy. In fact it was almost 1cm thick at points on my fish and I had to remove a lot of it so I may as well have eaten a Birdseye buttered cod. The chips were just alright, nothing to shout about because again they were not very crispy and a bit soggy. Finally the curry sauce was very glutenous and almost like dipping my chips into a knorrs stock pot. Overall we were very disappointed with the quality of our meal, under the previous ownership the food seemed much better.

This chippy is fab!! Sausage and chips, and pie, chips and gravy all came to £5.40. They have brilliant meal deals available which is what the pie came under. The building is clean and tidy it also has a lovely area at the side for you to sit and wait. Staff are nice too, however did only speak to one but I'm sure this is the same for all staff. Food was lovely! Definitely visit again!!

The chip shop has plenty of free parking outside, the chip shop its self has a modern and clean look with a seated area but appears more to be for waiting for your order.

Having worked in fish and chip shops I'm fussy about how my food is cooked, this place is by far the best I have tried and I've tried plenty of other chippys! Fresh cooked fish that's moist and lovely tasting batter, chips that aren't hard or soggy, boxes for kids meals and plenty of choice foods. Lovely young couple who are more than pleased to chat with you while waiting for your food, so if you want good food fast, then this is the place for you.

Friendly staff, delicious food and great service :) highly recommended if you're in the area! Ordered and received food promptly. Portion sizes are fab and really good for money. Five stars from me!
