The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Ordered via online, took 2 hours from time of ordering to delivery. Food was cold. They did offer to collect the food and remake it but how long would that have taken??? At ordering they take a phone number, but they didn’t use it to inform us there was a delay in delivery… absolutely shocking service. Very expensive for cold food !!!! Will not use them again.

Viking have been under new management since December 2023 and I like the new team. We had fish-n-chips and both parts of this classic combo were done perfectly for us.

Conveniently located. The owners are not so nice, treat the public with contempt. The food is ok for a quick bite. Wouldn’t return as the service is disgusting toward customers, always shouting at workers, the premises is dirty.

I haven’t visited muffins for a little while due to illness but went today, oh dear me how has this managed to go down hill so fast. The food was just thrown on the plate, presentation was horrendous and was more or less thrown at you by the waitress. The price had also risen by quite a lot. I was shocked not to see any of the staff that I knew and a lot of the food that came out looked burnt, dry and uninviting. Sorry but I won’t recommend muffins to anyone like I always have.

Spent £30 on food as we've been decorating all day, the fish was nice but the onion rings were hard and crusty, and the chicken fillets were thrown in the bin as when child bite into one you could see pink amd wasn't risking it, wished I'd taken a picture now

I love the food here but the staff are never very friendly. I went yesterday and even though the place was still open for another 40 minutes they were irritable about us sitting down and then started spraying really strong detergent everywhere and literally mopping under our chairs!

We decided to try this for a take out. Serves mainly fish & chips but also does kebabs. Such a friendly welcome and really good service from the team We ordered for my husband a large mixed kebab with chilli sauce and some onion. I ordered a chicken kebab with salad & garlic mayo. Absolutely delicious Would definitely recommend

If you like takeaways fiveways is the place to go! You could go every day if the week and have something different but there is no compromise on quality. I love their chicken and rice bowls for a'aloghtly more healthy option. The staff are amazing too always serving with a smile. I use sticks to walk and they even bring it out to the car for me. Fantastic food fantastic service. The prices are really good as well 👌

Pretty good dressed crab and cockles, however the crab was a bit pricey. They still had lovely food though. The seller was a nice guy, friendly.

Lovely before theatre drinks and meal. The food was cooked beautifully and wasn't over complicated. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Food was amazing quick efficient with a real authentic taste had the feel of fish and chips by the seaside. Just when I thought the food couldn't be topped it was by the friendly and impeccable service by our server BECCA an absolute credit to a well run family business she gave us an experience that I would recommend to people to come and try I shall be back in again, Thank you becca

How can the chips be burnt, soggy, greasy, hard and undercooked all at the same time I commend you on what should be an unachievable task what an extremely disappointing meal do not let this shops fancy look trick you worst chips in all my life

This is a great chippie, I first met Bill many, many years ago when he had just bought the shop, I was a taxi driver and often popped in for some fish and chips for a quick lunch. His fish and chips were excellent then, and still are now. I don't know where some people are getting treated disrespectfully by the staff, or getting bad food, I never had a problem with them. Also, despite a few more chippies in town, this is the only one I use. 100% recommended!

Worth going for the staff alone so friendly we ate in the restaurant and they made our 2 boys with special needs super welcome fish and chips were fantastic cooked freash and when they say large fish they mean whale fantastic value for money we will definitely be back they are worth more than 5 stars for food and staff
