Wonderful service, very friendly atmosphere, made sure we had everything we needed and made sure our food is all okay. I've always ordered a takeaway here as I work next doors and would recommend to anyone to dine here.. Good food, fantastic service and a very good price.. We travel from the midlands to Devon and this is much better than the motorway services. Really nice people. Just 5 minutes from the M5 and worth it. Will definitely keep returning.

Excellent & jolly staff, not rushed & flustered. Pricey but nice gf brekky. Tad stingey on the tomato - only one half! Bacon not smoked, thank God, I could actually taste it. Sausage 'boingy' & a wee bit undercooked but nice taste. Good strong tea but orange juice watery. Will go again once I've saved up. Coelics are more short of dosh than most!!

RUDE MANAGER. Friend of mine used to work for muffins they underpaid her, refused to give her wages, spoke to her in such a rude manor. My family went in here the other day for coffees and cake. Manager was extremely rude to my cousin . Think it’s time to retire ! Nasty woman

I brought my daughter to Worle High Street as a change from our usual Weston High Street, and we made straight for Muffins as I'd had good memories of it from a couple of years ago. It was even better this time around! Pristine surroundings, very clean and neat, lovely waitresses, all with a jolly smile and chatty natures. We chose to have toasted cheese sandwiches with salad and cole slaw. It was absolutely delicious! Plenty of tea, too, most refreshing. The toilets are spick and span, very essential, especially these days. The Christmas trimmings were in force, so it was a very happy visit for us and of course the other patrons.

Dropped car off around the corner and stopped for breakfast- very friendly and a very nice breakfast.

My partner and I came in for some quick Sunday brunch on 24 October 2021. Just as a rant, I am mystified as to why local independent cafes are apparently no longer open on a Sunday. We went to two on Milton High Street and every other cafe on Worle High Street was closed. If I ever hear an independent whinge about chains taking over, I will let loose. If you want custom, open your doors. So, we had never been to Muffins before. It was reasonably busy and got busier whilst we were there. Perhaps a bit unsurprising given they were the only cafe open on the High Street, but more power to them. Some tables were reserved. Once sat, we were very promptly asked by a young lady if we would like any drinks and were given menus. We had a bananna milkshake and a mocha. Both were just as good as you would get at any chain in my opinion. We ordered food. I had toast with poached eggs and bacon. My partner had a cheese and bacon panini. Both were okay. Better than breakfast type food you would get at a Wetherspoons in my opinion. Once finished, our plates were taken quickly and we were asked if we wanted the bill or if we would like anything else. The staff said bye as we left. What more can they do? People giving this place a bit of a hard time need to lighten up a bit. It is not pretentious and it certainly is not trying to be something it is not. The staff are polite and who I assume was the owner was running around serving and taking plates and being friendly with customers. The prices are very reasonable and the food is just as good as anywhere else, but customer service politer and better than a chain. I would rather spend my money somewhere such as this. In the context of other cafes, four stars. Three for food, four for value and service.

Really disappointed In the quality and service. The coffee was seriously poor, the crumpets did not come with butter as advertised, but were smeared in cheap tasting margerine. The cutlery for the meal needed to be requested after the food had arrived. So in all not surprised it was easy to be seated unlike a couple of years ago when you had to get there early to beat the rush. I have no intention of returning anytime soon.

Absolutely horrendous customer service from the manger herself! I have been ordering for years now and usually have a great service. She has nearly taken the glass out of the front door from banging so hard! The doorbell was obviously not heard the first time....so then she has a go at the salon below for not getting me. Then has ago at me about the salon when I finally get to the door. Honestly the rudest delivery I've had here and I am completely deaf in one ear so sometimes takes me longer...never been a problem though. Horendous. Try Knights Cafe millton road if you want better service and tbh better food too!

Disgusting. Damn disgusting. The way the owning staff talk to the other staff is DISGUSTING. Especially Jen (I'm sure that's her name) POWER TRIP AND NASTY PERSON!! Avoid at all costs. Items on the breakfast were clearly of their cheapest and most nastiest form. You would have thought a local cafe situated in a small high street would use local produce to support other local businesses, not the cheapest crap you can buy from the wholesalers. Whoever the cook is cannot cook eggs or really anything for that matter and should probably be replaced with someone who can make the food not only taste good but LOOK good for the money that was paid for such a letdown service. Staff also rude and unpleasant which isn't surprising, as if I had to serve food that looked like that I'd probably look miserable too. Will never return. The cafe over the road has far better and wholesome food. Muffins should take note and improve their service. Hurts to even have to give 1 star.

I never seen such poor quality of food. I understand its probably all frozen but a cottage pie which was clearly frozen and reheated was just awful.to make it worse it was just all mix together.

Fancied a breakfast so popped along with the family, the wife had pancakes bacon and maple syrup which she enjoyed and my son had a tea cake he liked ,I went for the cooked breakfast which didn't feel me up as it's not very big but you can add extra items which does bump the price up,the staff were very nice.So the food is nice but if you got a good appetite like me and want a big fry up I'd try someone else.

Took an elderly Aunt for lunch perfect size small plate for her, brilliant ploughman’s for my husband and giant filling in baguette of chicken stuffing cranberry. All served by friendly helpful staff. Will definitely visit again.

Came here for breakfast with high hopes of finding a different place that offers a quality Full English. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The sausage is very poor quality and the bacon and bubble and squeak were undercooked. The service however was excellent and the waitress was very helpful and friendly. It's nice that they offer smoothies and Jimmy's iced coffee as a alternative to your usual tea or coffee though. If they were to source the sausages from the butchers then I would of been much happier with it but they are the cheap bookers cash and carry type ones.

My wife and myself stopped here this morning after a rather arduous two hour drive. The staff were super friendly and efficient. We had toasted tea cakes and mugs of tea. Couldn’t fault our experience there.

We were in Worle for an afternoon's shopping and called in for mugs of tea. They arrived pre-milked so we explained that we wanted black tea and the assistant was very pleasant and returned with this. The café was busy but we were served promptly and would be happy to return.

Greasy cooked breakfast, bacon was black from dirty grill, ordered a chicken and cheese panini which tasted of onion from the panini machine not being cleaned in between cooking orders!! The old man driver is rude

One of the friendliest restaurants on the planet!! Good reasonably priced menu choice with daily specials. All food is cooked to order and arrives hot and fresh in a timely way. Open all day for breakfast through to lunch and afternoon tea. Also open Friday & Saturday evenings.

Visited last night with around twenty of my family and we could not have been more delighted. We were greeted by lovely Christmas tables all looking very festive in a warm comfortable surroundings on a very wet miserable night. Our menu of choice was turkey or beef and believe me we were very happy indeed , the meat was moist and full of flavour and served with beautiful roast potatoes and all the trimmings of a Christmas dinner. Extra vegetables were on offer for those that had room and of those that dared to squeeze a desert in apparently the bread and butter pudding and roly poly are to die for .As a family we Thankyou all for making a very enjoyable evening and we will defiantly have to come again, keep up the good work .

Stopped in Worle for a spot of shopping and found Muffins open on the bank holiday Monday. Fantastic Brunch, lots of very tasty choices topped off with Bubble and Squeak. Friendly service and good prices, nice little gem if you find yourself on Worle High St.

Lovely little café, tea room. The food is fab all home cooked and great value. I think this is family run and they do a great job and I wish them all the best.

From the the time you enter this cafe you'll see how friendly it is. There are customers that go six days a week to eat. You can get allsorts here from their lovely breakfast to full meals and puddings. I never hesitate to recommend Muffins and regularly meet friends there

Está a sólo 5 minutos a pie de mi casa, así que estoy seguro de que volveremos pronto! El almuerzo era enorme, bien preparado y muy satisfactorio. El café era bueno y el personal era amable y acogedor. Muy recomendable :)

El personal es muy atento y muffins, nada es demasiado problema, sus normas y la limpieza son insuperables y su siempre es un placer comer allí. Se puede decir que es bueno por ver cómo muchos de los clientes son clientes habituales, la gestión del para mantener un menú tan bueno y varios, pero no se olvide de la judias verdes.

Really enjoyed our visit to Muffins for breakfast and then another occasion for coffee and cake. The service is excellent and all food is served to a high standard. I would certainly say the coffee is the nicest I have had and a piece of lemon cake goes beautifully with it. Muffins is becoming a real favourite place to relax and enjoy good homely food in friendly surroundings.

Went here for lunch with my son and grandad, we ordered tea, hot chocolate, toastie, baguette and sausage & chips. The food was tasty and can highly recommend the Brie and grape toastie, the staff were friendly and great with the little one. My tea was a little lacking in taste but our only fault for this little cafe.

Within minutes of leaving this cafe, I needed the toilet so I went back and was refused the use of the toilet because it was "for customers only". I had only just been a customer and was desperate. I explained I had no 20p for the nearby public toilet, and they still refused to help. Not very nice. Whist drinking tea there only half an hour before the manager asked with hostility 'were we finished' touching the cups to see if they were cold enough to take away. There were many clear tables, and no reason for us to be so rudely rushed.

How nice to have homemade food with lovely fresh veg,I had cottage pie and it was excellent and my husband had the english breakfast that he thoroughly enjoyed.

A nice little cafe set in Worle High Street well presented and cosy. Visited for lunch this week and they were fairly busy with a good deal of regulars there. A good welcome from the waitress and drinks were served quickly, ordered main course and had a little bit of a wait , usually this means things aren't microwaved (always a plus). With the meal came a side salad and this was the disappointment , iceberg lettuce, a few sad slices of tomato and cucumber and some onion slices. Now this in its self is not a problem but surely the salad could be jazzed up a little with some different lettuce and perhaps some olives included just to give it some flair. Not asking much really but it seems in similar places the salads are always the same, rather bland. Don't want to decry the place but just to show you are one better than the opposition spice up your salads. They do serve award winning full English breakfasts incidentally.

Visited for lunch as reviews seemed good enough. A quiet place, slightly dated, plenty of people in but also some empty tables so not run off their feet. Waitress came to take drinks order fairly soon. One coffee, one large tea. Disappointingly the tea came in a mug with milk already in it, the mug wasn't full and the tea not very hot. On btinging the drinks the waitress then took our food order, toasted cheese sandwiches each. We waited more than 15 minutes and when the sandwiches arrived they were almost cold as well. So much so that the cheese was congealed and not soft and melts as a toasty should be. We had to ask for cutlery,no napkins were provided. We were there on an hours lunch break from work and because of this didn't feel there was time to make complaints. Disappointed all round and probably won't visit again.

We, as a family, visit Muffins regularly and we're never disappointed. Staff always friendly and food top notch. Well worth a try.

This is a wonderful place. All the staff are so friendly and lovely to my grandchildren, its like being with family. The food is excellent either to eat in or have delivered. It's a real community cafe, totally different from the named chain places. Wouldn't go anywhere else. We have had breakfast, lunch and tea at various times and it has always been very good.

Amazing little cafe right in the heart of Worle, and maybe the world ! Prices are as you expect although I've only ever been with my fiancee for breakfasts I can't comment on the afternoon lunches , although they do look nice and good for the price!Every member of staff is friendly and welcoming.Table service for taking orders makes it feel one step ahead of your usual "greasy spoon" which this certainly isn't.Food is always cooked through and piping hot.Best of all they are open Sunday's!Will continue to go time and time again !!

Had lunch there today, very friendly staff, ordered veg lasagne for me and meat lasagne for my husband. they both arrived together. having said the veg one was mine, the meat one for husband. we were given the wrong ones. I am not vegetarian and realised that I had the meat and husband had the vegetarian one. By this time i had almost finished my meal. husband didn,t say anything and didn,t really like his. too late to swop over! other than that a very nice meal. a friend with us had a fish meal which was also very good. We all enjoyed a nice pot of tea with the meal.

This place is usually busy, the staff are pleasant and friendly. There is a nice selection of food available from their menu. I had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and wholemeal bread. It's averagely priced. It's the sort of place you would go to regularly if you are local or somewhere you stop in if your driving through.

We had lunch here on 9 April. I had an egg mayonaise baguette with coleslaw which tasted lovely but a few hours later I was ill with vomiting and diarrhea! I had no other food before being ill so I assume the egg or mayo had salmonella!

We had a superb lunch with food at a good quality. Nice selection, with a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was great with the staff very friendly. We would use this restaurant again.

Love this place, I can;t praise it enough. You are not going to a Michelin Star restaurant, you are going to a really well run cafe with a very good selection of well prices foods that all look good. It's always busy, Food's very well put together. I usually go for 2 poached eggs, 3 pieces of crispy bacon on wholemeal toast. Very simple so very easy to get wrong / taste bad but they nail it every time. They do a great double espresso, better then all the big chain double espressos.! Their tea is great, and hot, cups are clean and staff are always very polite and quick to assist. This place is run very well and the toilets are spotless and smell clean ( the real sign of a well looked after business.! ). I was driving around town after a walk on the beach with the wife when she suggested we drive to Muffins in Worle instead of paying to park and getting ripped off near the High Street. Great idea. Many small cafes around but none like this one in the area.! Fre parking all around the area

I met 3 friends out Muffins for lunch. I had the 2 course Christmas lunch of Turkey (with all the trimmings) followed my mince pie and ice cream,it was excellent and piping hot.The restaurant is always spotless and the staff very obliging.

A really lovely little cafe that's local to us. We visit regularly for (late) Sunday breakfast and the owners are always cheerful, and always friendly. They always remember our regular order too :)

Having always known of Muffins, I had never eaten there until today. We ordered a take away brunch as we weren't sure if we were too far away for delivery. The brunch was delicious! The restaurant itself is very nice, and has a modest amount of seating. There is a take away menu on their Facebook page and leaflets in the restaurant. They also do Mr Whippy ice creams which is great to know with summer approaching. There are ladies and gents toilets. If you are eating in the restaurant, it looks like you just seat yourself. I couldn't see any signage upon entering that tells you what to do (wait to be seated etc) We waited less than 10 minutes for our takeaway, which was great. You can phone through takeaway orders before hand. They accept cash and debit/credit cards. There is on street parking outside, across the road and there is a large car park a little ways down the road. I will definitely visit here again, the staff were where extremely friendly!

My wife and i had just returned from a delayed flight home from Spain and after a short sleep we needed to eat. This place was just right; the service was friendly and helpful, the food was good and tasty. It was just what we required and so many thanks to the owners. We will be back

Thsi si a little resturant in Worle Hight Street near the library... the service is good the food is great and it tastes good every time you visit. It can get busy as it is a small seating area but if you can find a seat then worth a visit, feel sure you will not b e disappointed.
