The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Gorgeous restaurant - service is wonderful and the food is amazing. Fish is fresh and tasty - lots of lovely extra touches like order taken in the bar and bread at the table. The tartare sauce and mushy peas are especially great :)

Awful just awful fish was full of skin chips were warmups and staff r rude very greasy batter 2 what a joke

2024 update. Food wasn't as nice this time. Chips must have been in the tray for a while as they were not as hot and crispy as usual. Why not tell children that some things cost extra, but just charge them instead. Food is still good but charging the extra quid takes the shine off, especially when it is done against kids.

What a lucky find. After a chilly morning of riding Snake Pass we caught the scent of fish and chips coming through Crosspool. We followed our noses and ended up at the fish bar, lunch sorted. We ordered small fish and chips and thought that was it, but nope, the free extras kept on coming, beans, sausage, rissol, and so much more. A massive serving of food with the hottest beans I have ever had outside my own kitchen. Cooked to perfection and served with passion and banter. Yup, this will be a regular lunch spot when out and about on the bikes in the Sheffield area, delicious 😋

College student here. I'd absolutely recommend the chicken shawarma and the donor. Absolutely banging and worth every penny. Great for a "can't think of an option that's good for value" food. Lovely people always greets us boys and always happy to converse.

Superb fish and chips - extensive menu - great service

Mother Hubbard's is a fantastic place for fish and chips! The service is outstanding—friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The fish is always fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The chips are golden and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, and the quality of the food is consistently excellent. It's the perfect spot for a classic, delicious meal. Highly recommended!

Very nice people but the fish and chips were very greasy and soggy! Must have caught them on an off day!! Not bad prices though.

The staff is v courtesy and smiling. They add value to their business. Fresh food. Excellent customer services.
