Really great quality fish and chips - huge portions, with haddock freshly cooked to order, good crispy batter and flaky fish, and chips cooked in beef dripping which were very tasty. This is a takeaway (no seating) but that was fine for us as we wanted to eat our lunch on the beach (Lusty Glaze cove is 10 mins walk away down some steep steps).

WOW!!!! what a find!! This Elegant and cool restaurant goes down as the best find to date in Cornwall for restaurants. If you like Scallops then you will love this place. The girls serving us for my wife's birthday were equally fab! If I had 1 disappointment it would be the Lamb. For £29 you only got 5 very small pieces the size of a match box. apart from that all was Fantastic! Thanks guys. see you again soon.

Popped in on Tuesday 25th Feb Very warm welcome Both had a really nice coffee, I am not an expert on coffee but this tasted so good, I had black and my wife had a flat white, both very hot. I had a bacon sandwich with fresh granary bread, butcher’s bacon and a nice helping of brown sauce. The manager had a lovely chat with us explaining why we were not able to book a table which i fully understand. The menu is very good and very different and we are returning with friends on Friday for brunch, can’t wait. Gra and Sandy.

I had a small cod & chips, my partner the vege sausage & chips. We sat in the car to eat and as had not eaten since breakfast this evening we were hungry. He had 'one' small sausage, but both meals were lukewarm, and that's being kind! I'd not had good from there in a long time and wasn't enamoured last time, but thought I'd give it another go. I certainly won't be going back! Plus I had a horrible aftertaste in my mouth for a long time. I wonder what they fry in!? However, that was my last visit!

I visited this place on Sunday with my wife, and we ordered mussels and squid. I have to say, the food is very overpriced, even for Exmouth. The mussels cost £25.95 for only 450 grams, which is shocking. Although they were well cooked—something I can appreciate as a chef with many years of experience—they're still overpriced, especially considering that I can get 1 kg of mussels from the supplier for just £5 per kg.
