Great place for al fresco eats and drinks outside the main hotel - sitting on lawn watching river traffic. Great crab sandwiches!!!

Great spot as other reviews mention, in the gardens of the Dart Marina hotel. It is owned and run by them and prices reflect that. The only grumble is that the staffing could be a bit more organised. There are often long queues for drinks and when the barman/lady disappears into the hotel for 5 minutes they get even longer. It needs double manning at busy times. Not sure that food is currently available due COVID.

We realy like.. The great view...cold wine and beer..lovely ambience....then Bang crash..young barmen thought throwing bottles from 2 meteres into bin was a great Idea...bang. crash again and agsin and. yes again..whiever owns this buisiness needs to educate chap..that its not Weatherspoons...this chap wil ruin your goodwill. We will call again..lets hope if bottles not banging and crashing I can give it the 5 * this place Deserves. I hope so!

We love this place, if you want to come and just have a drink and watch the world go by on the river this is the place.Great if the sun be shining. It’s not the cheapest place in town but the view is worth it.

We always try to make a point of going to this fab little pop up restaurant/bar right beside the River Dart! It is in the front of The Dart Marina Hotel. The drink are served from a small converted van. The food is ordered here and brought from the hotel. We usually order their filled ciabatta and it comes wrapped in paper on an enamel plate to try to avoid the seagulls! The wine choice here is better than the hotel itself. On a sunny day this is the perfect spot to watch the river life go by!

Today was our Wedding Anniverary and we celebrated in style at Rockfish, Dartmouth. We enjoyed fabulous fresh fish and were looked after by helpful and knowledgeable staff. Alastair, the Manager, made us very welcome and Florence, our waitress, looked after us well. We enjoyed the evening and have reserved a table for our next birthday celebration which is in May so we won't have to wait to long until we visit Rockfish again.

Just outstanding !Beautiful flavourful fresh fish !The Gurnard was cooked to perfection and the clams cooked in sherry with chilli were amazing . Super friendly engaged team just a delight after a long drive down from London Thank you

Gould RoadWas visiting Salcombe and wanted a crab sandwich, and although this place is out of the main area (in a car park) we managed to find it. This small place is quaint, only a few tables inside and some outside but rugs supplied for outside if wanted.. it over looks the sea & a small pontoon with several boats. Menu has purple crab options as well as other seafood dishes (might of had meat but tbh I didn’t notice), Had the crab sandwich (£18:00) with side of fries (£4:00). The sandwich was grain bread, lemon mayo & packed full of white & brown crab meat, garnished with small side salad -it was delicious. Great place to visit & have delicious food with a view

Fore StreetFantastic dinner here. The food was amazing and the service friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday dinner here. The waitress was brilliant. The atmosphere was relaxed. There were plenty of options for vegetarian or vegan alternatives.
