The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

Popped in Saturday afternoon for a cheeky bag of chips to keep us going till dinner, my wife returned with the worst portion of chips I have ever seen, luke warm and stale tasting, I returned said portion to chip shop uneaten, we will cross this chip shop off as a future go to, horrible

Amazing fish but chips were awful, no fresh !!!!! Re fried, such a shame,please sort your chips out and I will be a customer for life.

This was our second visit, our first being 100% better. This time the food was greasy, we ordered large chips but it was barely enough for one, we'd had a long day and I needed to eat or my partner (who was very cross) would have returned. Great banter with the fellow customers in the queue though, which made the visit better.

Fish were fine, good size and well cooked. Chips contained too many scraps which gives the impression of cheap potatoes .Chip shop will have to improve to compete with neighbouring shops.

Chips didn't seem up to their usual high standard. At 4.40pm I thought they would be fresh but they felt refried in a bad way, dry & not very hot.

Always good food, fresh cooked , staff are always pleasant.

It's great to see this chippy arrive in Polegate , so much better than the previous merchants. We live here and now don't have to drive to John's chippy in Hailsham as they've moved here.

One of the best fish and chips shops on the west side of the river in the Medway area. Call and order for a freshly cooked fish. They are generally obliging.

We pre ordered for a family of 11 for collection on a busy Good Friday and the staff were very helpful and friendly and everything was freshly cooked , piping hot and delicious. Would recommend and will definitely return here when in the area next . Thanks Marina team!

One of the worst chip shops iv ever come across definitely needs a visit from the tax office & Border Force something is definitely off with the set up
