The food arrived very hot and was a most enjoyable meal

ordered 2 large Cod +1 medium chips. only 1 piece of cod + medium chips delivered.

This place as clearly gone down hill to what it used to be. Firstly, you've forgotten half our order, so now I've had to go without for others to eat. Secondly, these chips are awful and potion sizes have clearly decreased.

Quality has significantly diminished from this restaurant

Placed order and it said will be 20-25 mins. Turned out to be about an hour and a half. Food was hot when arrived to be fair and did taste good but just disappointed with delivery times

Driver was early which is nice but he was very rude and abrupt didn’t say hello or goodbye or anything really ruined a usually really nice experience

Large chips, enough to feed 3/4? More like a medium for 2. Refried chips, some soggy some hard. Oily. Saveloys cold and rock solid. Waste of £24. Go somewhere else.

Chips were basically burnt! Like they had been overcooked to many times! The pie was nice! The fish was ok! Usually really nice from here but today it wasn’t! Must of been an off day.

As always, the fish was cooked to perfection. The batter was crisp and the fish (plaice) moist. A generous portion of chips, and really tasty mushy peas and curry sauce. Delicious!

Not the usual good food, chips were awful obviously refried and batter was soggy.

First time having cod and chips from this restaurant. It was amazing. Not greasy and the best quality around here. They even managed to deliver on time before a night shift 👍Would definitely recommend Papas and will be using them again ❤️

This is the best chip shop around. Unfortunately, twice now I’ve ordered 3 sausage in batter and have only been sent two.

Great food, always piping hot and delicious.

We ordered 22 OAP portions of fish and chips to collect at 12.15pm. They were finishing off boxing the food when we got there. The portions were a very good size. Each portion was boxed and were still hot when we got them home. The fish and chips were both excellent. We were so happy with the service .

It was the first time I ordered a meal from this restaurant today. I was really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I will certainly order from Papas again in the future.

Amazing experience, the curry sauce got left out and the woman who we rang up, came down and delivered it to us straight away. highly recommend

Scampi was slightly overcooked so I couldn't give 5 stars

It was over 90 mins late in the end I collected my self I paid extra money for delivery so a refund is in order

yhe food was very good as always, but i orderded at 16.50 and it was delivered at 18.16 not good at all and very happy if you dont have the staff then you should let people know when they order.

Fish and chips OK but nothing special. The fairly expensive large cod was quite small and the curry sauce was possibly the worst chip shop curry I have had. The large chips are fine for 2 (or 3 with smaller appetites). Not good value, but OK tasting fish and chips

Spam fritters was really greasy and the cod really want nice at all. Chips were really nice tho

My food yesterday was very bad the chips is very hard and some is burnt, and the fish is cold not that hot. We paid quite a lot of money.

Sadly food quite bland to be honest , with the prices of this place so high I expect bigger portions ( 4.30 ) for small chips half of what you can see in the attached photo . 20 chips ….. I’ll go elsewhere in future ohh and there large cod at the time of my purchase was 11.70 , you can draw your own conclusion by the photo but too me that looks small

Food was piping hot which was great and food always tastes lovely.

Avoid papas. Got order wrong then when I called them they basically said ‘tough luck’

Honestly, it is the greatest fish and chip shop in Kent. Customer service is fantastic and the chef is lovely.

Left out a small cod from the order. Usually, they are good but not this time. Order delivery time was estimated between 7.50 - 8.15. Came at 8.35 & the driver went to the wrong address.

Excellent fish and chips, good size, tasty and hot. Used this place for years, so glad it's on JustEat now.

Tasteless food. Burnt battered sausage. The savaloys were rock hard. Curry sauce was cold and the chips were mushy! Waste of money! And expensive for what I got! £13.50 for that and the chips was a small portion!! Won't recommend, nor will I be returning. Rochester Maidstone Rd is by far better!!

Delivery time pretty good considering the distance , food also hot . Quality I have only given 3 star it was alright for the price point . Chips were like a restaurant Portion , too small for 4.30 imo . Quality wise prob 7/10 , oil was very clean and there were nice enough Iv had a lot worse . Battered sausage very bland tasting , was nice and crispy but no flavour . Large Cod very happy with portion size , and was cooked well enough . Fish was firm and flaky but needed salt , if they add salt to the fish before the batter or just mix some in the rice flour will taste a lot stronger . All in all though thanks for the food was nice enough but I’ll prob go elsewhere in future .

Working all around Kent you get to know good chippies. Ive been coming back here for years, always had great food.

To be honest I like this restaurant regarding the delicious food and friendly staff. The problem is with the deliveries as they never start to prepare the delivery orders before the driver arrive which is a big delay for the drivers but also for the costumers who order online as they waiting extra time just for nothing. The delivery policy said that they must start to prepare order after order arrives not after driver arrive but they don't mind.

Yeah I'm going to be the one to give one star, food tastes amazing but they're constantly upping prices and lowering food quantity. Just got a large chips and it was ridiculously tiny. Really not worth going here anymore because the portion sizes are just ridiculous now. A large portion use to do our whole family, today I barely got my 2 teens chippy supper done and now have to go make something else to go with my fish 🙄

Long established fish and chip shop. Good quality food, portions on the smaller side compared to others in the area. Premises are clean and staff friendly. Prices also comparable to others. I believe you can phone your order through, definitely recommend doing that on Fridays.

Quality of the food is very good with prices on the higher side and portion sizes smaller than some other local businesses selling the same products. The staff are polite and friendly. The business is popular and can be very busy at peak times,I believe they do accept orders by telephone

Haven't been for two weeks and find a medium cod up by 90p. From £7:00, to ,£7:90. It's just a little bit expensive and chips small £2:30.. Yes, we're all aware of price rises, but 90p a bit heafty, it's no longer an end of week treat. And pensioner's priced out. Just a little too far !
