Good fish and chips. Knocked off a star only because the ends of the batter was a bit chewy on the ends. Big as you like portions though - very filling!

Don’t even bother ordering here…! I ordered a Lamb Shish Kebab - what I got was 5 TINY pieces of lamb and about 2 pounds of salad! What a rip-off, will never order from then again

first time customer. absolutely fantastic quality, best in Medway, but despite ordering a kids portion it was truly enormous and I couldn't finish it, save yourself some money as a business but by reducing the amount of chips or offering more sizes of portion. real order again for definite as was delicious and I've struggled to find good fish and chips since moving from Scotland

Very welcome place, great staff, love new decor, had no medium haddock so gave us large instead for same price, good very fresh food, fish was beautiful chips were hot and tasty, thank you for lovely food.

Ordered for a collection, phone staff was very polite, my order was ready in 15 minutes & all staff were friendly, our meals were all very nice with large portions.

An absolutely fabulous takeaway. Enormous portions all freshly cooked. The food tastes amazing. The staff are always warm and welcoming. I don’t use any other takeaway. Best kebab and fish and chips in Kent. Shaun.

Not too worried about the lateness as it was new years’, but the bag was *soaked* in oil- all the paper was stuck and disintegrating on the chips, the fish was dripping in oil and all the batter was therefore very soggy. Oddly the chips were slightly undercooked and tasteless but the haddock was slightly overcooked and tough around the edges. Probably a tough night so I wouldn’t write them off, but perhaps that’s why Anchor (who are usually brilliant) had wisely turned off just eat orders.

Ordered medium Haddock & Chips. Fish was exceptional quality - good size pure white fish and crispy batter. Chips good too. Georges' just seem to get better & better. Wouldnt order fish from anywhere else now.

Had an OAP cod and chips. Delicious and just the right size for one.

Ordered cheesy chips x 2 only one appeared. Normal chips instead!

Since i was a kid i loved this place, the staff are the best you can have and the food is what fish and chips SHOULD always be, generous portions, simple prices and friendly behind the counter. Even when ive grown and moved away, we always make our way over to Georges because its the best

Food came 30 mins early which wasn't convenient for us as we're not all home. The fish and chips were both so greasy that the paper was soaked through. Ordered from here due to the good reviews but am a bit perplexed as to how they've managed that.

Fantastic kebab I got a large as normally that means medium but not here large means large as gose for the chips don't take my word for it try it.

Always earlier than stated on ASAP deliveries and usually of high quality. with them being closed for summer holidays we have tried other chip shops and we realise how spoiled we are having George's close by. Best chippie in this area by a very long way.

We had our order delivered from George’s a kebab chips and onion rings we were very impressed lovely hot food really generous and tasty and we shall use again and we recommend them yum yum
