The fish and chips are very good. However we are not returning until they resume accepting credit cards. They told me the machine had broken but there is now a sign to this effect in the window. We do not hold any cash so it's rather annoying

Simply the best Fish and chips since I have lived in Herne Bay. The cod was beautifully cooked, not over done and soggy. The chips were amazing, not a soggy fat filled chip in sight. The sausages were also freshly cooked, not kept in a warmer for a day lo like most places in Herne Bay! Curry sauce was thick, not a river of green water. Well done, definitely worth it.

The best i have been a lots to this place and it is always great food and they are all so nice lots of chips .

Delicious fish (COD and haddock), lovely chips (not greasy? And the best spring roll I’ve had in ages. Good service and we’ll definitely visit again. Ate it on Tankerton cliffs overlooking the sea. #perfick!

Tried 2 times, not good at all, very greasy and strange taste, cheap sausages and fish was no good. The Chinese next door is way better and nicer chips. Will not try again.

When we want fish and chips we always go to this chippy. The people are very friendly. The cost is very good, and you always get to much, but you always manage to eat it.

I visit this fish and chip shop occasionally as I live around the corner. On a Friday and Saturday night this place is heaving!!! Food is always fresh as they have to keep putting new food in the fryer to keep up with the demand. I only ever eat cod and no other fish. There cod is very nice, large portions are actually large and the batter is very light and tasty. It's also not too oily which is a massive plus. Chips are always decent, not oily, and portion sizes are decent. They are always piping hot when they're served too. Prices are pretty good although the price of fish obviously fluctuates. Customer service is friendly. Would recommend.

A take out location that gives you delcious fish and chips at a most reasonable price. The staff makes sure you are looked after immediately after coming in. Quick service too.

We ordered our for and chips, people who arrived after us were served their for and chips. After 25 minutes of people being served who had arrived after us we walked out

Have been meaning to do a contribution before but somehow the moment passed. As always it is a pleasure to order a lunch or dinner of fish and chips from the best chippy I know anywhere. Spotlessly clean, they have the max 5 for cleanliness and hygiene, and I would give it a Michelin star for quality. Even waiting is a pleasure for the order is freshly cooked while you wait and a complimentary cornet of chips offered while you sit. A wide range of fish, generous portions, and reasonable prices, all make this my star chippy. Do give them a try, a real treat.

I've eaten here lots of times - it's very clean, brilliant fish and chips and the best wedges ever! Very generous portions. The staff are always helpful - you should go!

This is one of the most clean and spotless fish shop I have ever been in, I have just moved into the area and will be using this again, friendly staff, and great choice of food.

This is a great fish and chip shop, the fish is usually freshly cooked (well ours is) and are large portions. They also serve a variety of other fast food meals such as burgers, chicken etc. I have used this Chippy for years now and have never had to complain about anything. The food is good and the staff are all nice. Highly recommended!!!

Always get lovely chips from this place. Would recommend. They cook fresh while you wait, even if it's very busy. Only reason it's not 5 is because somethings are over cooked.

Nunca me decepcionó. Utilizada regularmente para pescado y patatas fritas tradicionales visitas nocturnas a principios siguientes la carnicería de brazos Herne (el mejor pub del mundo, por cierto).

Siempre patatas fritas bien.. el personal fue muy amable, agradable grupo de muchachos. Buena calidad y relación calidad-precio. Vale la pena probarlo y no largas esperas!

Nunca tuvimos nada malo de este lugar, servicio rápido incluso cuando lleno, limpio y agradable, no puedes equivocarte si quieres pescado y patatas fritas.

Does a good job as a housing estate chippy. Not exceptional, but what is expected from a clean, well priced chip shop with a Chinky, corner store and hairdressers for neighbours. Don't expect a gourmet experience, but it does its job well.

Our local and never disappointed , usually cooked to order and a sometimes a little bit of a wait but believe me it's worth it.Just had Large Cod and Chips twice freshly cooked and quite possibly the best I've had in years, well done lads!!

Just moved into the area so thought I would try out the locals Quite surprising for a Tuesday evening really busy so should be good and wasn't disappointed

This is our local fish and chip shop and use it regularly. The staff are always friendly and often you are given a few chips to eat if you have to wait for a fresh batch of chips to be ready. A nice touch which they don't have to do. The fish is always well cooked and tasty as are the other dishes. Definitely worth trying if you haven't.

This is just round corner from where we live. We use it all the time. Fab staff and kids love coming to collect it as give them a free lolly. Best fish and chips shop.

As ever this chip shop has no chips ready, this visit was the worst, 12 people waiting and some friends of the chip shop turn up order everything, and walk off, 5 mins later they return to be served straight away, leaving everyone else who were there before them wondering what had happened. Think about it guys, and serve people as they arrive.

Really enjoyed the fish and chips from here. The chips were nice and brown and not soggy and insipid. The fish was fresh and had a lovely crispy batter that did not stick to the paper or break up when picked up. Yes, very impressed and will go again.

The boys in the chip shop are fantastic - make sure you are hungry because they give you a pillow case sized portion of chips as regular! The fish portions are huge and usually cooked to order and while you are waiting you often get a few chips - to keep you going! -always busy - always cheerful - always fresh and ample - can't say more - just make sure you are hungry!

Best fish and chips in the bay by far , the batter is always crisp loads to choose from. so if you want a good takeaway look no further just check this place out .......
