You are greeted with a lovely warm welcome and offered great advice regarding the menu choices. We were on our way to West Bromwich to watch football and normally stay overnight local to that area and always have a curry as it’s our favourite food. But as I had lived in Bicester over 40 years ago had decided on this trip to stop and reminisce and also try a local Indian restaurant. Based on the fantastic reviews we settled on Srishti’s Kitchen and what good fortune we had as the food was just wonderful. We spent a few weeks in India last year and I can genuinely say when she advertises authentic food she 100% hits the spot. The food is fresh, tasty, delicious and straight from the stove to your table. What more could you ask for …..simply wonderful and already on our itinerary for our next trip…..it’s a pity the kitchen isn’t based at the village as we could combine two wonderful experiences Lovely to meet you. Thank you for your hospitality Kieron and Trudy.
Lovely visit with a friend to sit out and have coffee during Bunkfest. Unbelievable rudeness from another customer towards the staff who were gracious and tolerant where to eject him would have been entirely appropriate and reasonable. Instead they returned his money as an act of goodwill. Everyone who witnessed this was appalled by how awful he was. Such a lovely cafe!
We found Potter's on a trip to the Pagham local nature reserve. We both had crab rolls which were excellent. They fill the roll with a good amount of crab and nice addition of a few crisps. And all served up in compostable boxes and bags, brilliant!Friendly, cheerful staff too.A nice find.Thank you!
We arrived at the restaurant with friends quite late as we’d been to the theatre. We did not at any point feel rushed, the food was superb and the decor and extra touches were amazing.
Highly recommend
Gran pequeño hallazgo para un baby shower único.
Todo desde el lugar, vista y comida casera fue fabuloso.
Los 28 disfrutamos de nuestro té de la tarde.
Me and my friend tried out the Wine tasting experience at Journey Guildford on the 5/3/25 and we had such a good time.
We would love for more wine tasting experiences.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a very rude and obnoxious person, who insisted we waited for service while she was chatting to a customer about the weather.
Then there was the food ...my children became ill shortly after we left the place, they had tuna baguettes and for some reason they tasted off .
When questioned about it the very impolite individual said"if you don't like it then leave"
The Café itself was poorly maintained, their was slight odour of mould near the main counter, the place was filled with trinkets to buy including photos of people eating on a summer's day there.
The toilet facilities were unsanitary,no hand soap,no paper towels to dry hands with and no lock on the door.
When leaving the Café it felt like we were leaving an old people's retirement home after visiting a relative,a Café/sandwich bar should be welcoming and should make their own food not fillings from plastic containers with no indication of it's freshness!
Since then I have spoke to several unhappy diner's who complained about the workers there who still seem to think being snappy, aggressive and rude is the correct way.
A warning to all please do not eat here if you value your wellbeing.
Fab platters of cheese and meats......great wine......great people and service. It's like being in Italy for a few hours. We go often and everytime is magical and enjoyable. Plus fab desserts.
I didn't know this site, I ordered a plant that had been catching my eye for a while, the service is great for delivery and super friendly! I am happy to learn that it is also a company from our beautiful province of Luxembourg! ☺️ you can fall in love with their pretty plants with your eyes closed!
My partner, dog and I love it here. A lovely cosy quirky feel and food fresh and delicious and cooked to perfection. Always friendly and welcoming. We always look forward to our visits. Thank you.
My partner and I came here for an early valentines meal and we were incredibly impressed! It was lovely to see that it was busy but everyone was attended to; the staff were really kind and fun as well. The food was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to be back!
Highly recommend this lovely cafe, friendly staff and food was excellent. Hubby’s cauliflower cheesy soup was delicious (and he doesn’t normally like cauliflower!!). Will definitely go back soon.
A really enjoyable evening in an eclectic mix of people. Jon and Jo made us feel welcome in their home, delicious food accompanied by delightful singing!
We were greeted by cocktails then moved on to a three course meal with additional treats. A donation was made to a very worthy local charity fir homeless people.
A misy relaxing way to start the bank holiday weekend.
Thank you both very much!
