Best Sunday roast, Beef and Pork was soo tender and the vegetables all cooked well. It came out piping hot. The waitresses were very efficient and friendly. Thankyou

The White Horse Sunday roast is the best. Excellent home cooked food, good variety of vegetables, meat and nice portions. Lovely selection of desserts, all delicious. Best family roast, good homely atmosphere run by the best landlords.

Proper homemade grub from start to finish at very reasonable prices lovely atmosphere friendly polite efficient staff I highly recommend a Sunday afternoon roast and will be visiting again soon 😋

Reallly obnoxious landlord one minute we’re told dogs are aloud the next the landlord Says git your dog out. My dog is better behaved than most adults. Maybe There is a lesson to be learnt. Don’t pre judge. He’s not exactly a Rottweiler

Myself, my husband Aunt and Uncle all visited today and had the Sunday lunch. The food was amazing and portions were great. I would recommend this lil gem to anyone looking for a great family atmosphere good food and friendly staff.

We've visited a couple of times both in the restaurant and we've collected takeaway roasts too. You literally cannot beat it. The service, the grub, everyone is so very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure that the food is hot, top quality and made with love and care. Good old fashioned roast dinner, rustic but very tasty. Would recommend this pub to anybody. Deb and Simon are so good at what they do. They meet and greet and are always there for a chat, despite how busy they are. Exactly what you need from a landlady and landlord.

We went to the White Horse for Sunday dinner with friends, it’s the first time we’ve been and it was outstanding. Really friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere in the pub, food was really good and very reasonably priced. Jane was great, the owners, Deb and Simon made us feel very welcome and the girls that waited on our table were absolutely lovely. We will definitely be back.

Best roast I’ve had in ages. Pub very welcoming. No swearing heard unlike most pubs these days. Service was amazing, waitress was helpful and friendly. Food didn’t take long to be served. Far exceeded my expectations. All reasonably priced too. Will definitely be returning again. 10/10

I had heard so much about the Sunday Roasts at The White Horse, Sittingbourne that I just had to try one for Myself. I work on a Sunday so I ordered a take away to collect after work. It's reputation certainly preceded it and it was as good as everything I'd heard about it and much more. I had the mixed meats which were Chicken, Pork, Beef and Gammon and all meats were cooked to Perfection as were the fresh vegetables of Roast Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, Yorkshire Pudding, Cauliflower Cheese, Cabbage, Carrots and Peas. I know they're fresh too not just by the taste, but as I work in a supermarket and Landlady buys them fresh every week. The Gravy was Amazing too with all meat juices in. Could of ate the whole dinner twice over. It certainly Exceeded expectation and was worth every penny and will 100% be visiting again. Thank You Very Much. Anybody that hasn't been needs to experience this Roast Dinner. It's So worth the visit.I was greeted with a Lovely Friendly Welcoming Atmosphere upon collection and lots of people were eating in too.

Recently visited The White Horse in Sittingbourne for a Sunday Roast. All I can say is WOW!! The food was magnificent and the service was excellent. We booked in for a roast as a family after a recommendation from a friend and we will be frequenting The White Horse now on a regular basis. The atmosphere is fantastic and so welcoming.

Our party of 6 had a Sunday roast here and what a fabulous meal it was !.Home from home cooked meal with lots of meat options at a very reasonable price. The staff were amazing,a must try in a very frendly local pub .

We visited today with friends for a Sunday roast having heard great reviews about these locally and we were not disappointed. The staff and locals were all very friendly, the food was extremely reasonably priced, beautifully tasty and there was a HUGE amount of it! If you are looking for a proper Sunday roast just like your Nan used to make in a relaxed and friendly venue, look no further!

I have been to this pub on a few occasions and always had a warm welcome from the owners Deb and Simon, but decided we would go and treat Mum in law to Sunday dinner....well what can I say??? Everything from start to finish was amazing, the service was spot on, such lovely friendly staff, the food was out of this world, I had chicken and beef roast dinner, roast spuds, fresh veg, and lovely thick proper gravy. I mentioned to my sister in law that in my 52 years that it was probably the best Sunday dinner I had had, she looked at her mum and said don’t invite her to your house again for dinner lol, but joking aside you really do need to give this place a try, u certainly don’t come home hungry! I’m laying on my sofa unable to move as we speak haha. Thank You for your wonderful hospitality and looking forward to coming again. So friends had been telling me about the Sunday roast here for sometime so I finally got round to giving it a try. First the place is a old fashioned style pub with a great welcome and real hospitality. The landlady was lovely we were served with 2 mountains of glorious food everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. I had pork the wife had chicken both were exceptionally. We avoided the pudding as we could not of possibly eat anymore. Highly recommend this place

Very friendly place good service. Lovely home cooked Sunday roast with a good choice of meat, or if you can’t choose - some of each! Lovely puds too. Staff very accommodating and kids made welcome.

7 of us had a Sunday roast for the first time in The White Horse and honestly we’re all quite critical of food when we go out but no complaints from any of us! I had gammon with my roast and honestly it was the best gammon I have ever had in my life. Speaking just for myself mostly in this review I can honestly say it’s the best roast dinner I have had eating out wise. Cute quaint local pub. All the staff were smiley, welcoming and polite which Is so hard to come by now a days. We will definitely be returning. We all had pudding, homemade rice pudding looked beautiful. I can’t remember exactly how many home made puddings there were on the menu but most of them were and everyone said it was beautiful, they just wanted more!! I had a chocolate cake, oh my it was amazing. I can’t wait to come back for roast again.

After eating here, after trying various other establishments, I would recommend the white horse to anyone wanting a home cooked roast that does not break the bank, it is value for money, the staff and owners are so friendly and welcoming

Lovely, warm welcoming pub with great Sunday roast. Probably my most favourite pub in Sittingbourne.

I can't fault the food we've eaten today! Huge portions of home cooked roast dinner!! We had the mixed meat (£8.95) which consisted of..... beef, chicken, pork, gammon, roast spuds, cauliflower cheese, carrots, broccoli, peas, parsnips, stuffing and Yorkshire pud!!! It was lovely.

Not been in for dinner for a while but once again Debbie did herself proud. Excellent dinner. See you again soon !

Tuvimos la mejor "caseras" asado los domingos, he tenido en años. Nada era demasiado problema, e incluso se encargó de lidiar con mi alergia a alimentos. Todo el personal era genial, y si realmente los terratenientes y Debbie nos hizo sentir como en casa. Yo le recomiendo a todos mis amigos y familia. Gracias Andy & Helen

The food is just like your mum used to make lovley and filling the portions are big and all in all the pub it's self has a friendly atmosphere which I found good as going there on my own thanks for everything keith x

Esta fue nuestra primera oficina Navidad reunirse y qué mejor lugar para celebrar. Este cálido y acogedor, de gestión familiar, decorado pub era ideal, con un montón de cosas navideño, haciendo que uno se sienta como en casa. Al entrar en el pub que venga al bar, a la izquierda hay un restaurante con un área cerrada que abre y utilizados para bandas.

What can I say ..homemade .tasty.... full plate... amazing value . So much variety too .give it a visit ...you won't be disappointed

Went for a Sunday lunch after returning from holiday. Choice of 5 meats or a mixture, came quickly and a real full plate nicely presented and clearly not just kept warm but was lovely and hot.They do kids sizes too.Lots of meat plus yorkshires, potatoes and a range of vegetables, my kids don't eat parsnips but these were lovely they left none.Then given choice of 7 desserts, the Apple and raspberry crumble was delicious and my kids had waffles and said they were better than creams.Make sure you book so you don't miss out.

We really enjoyed our Roasts here .Well cooked and plenty of it.The pub was full of diners so very popular .The sevice was good and the beer well kept.This place seems to be a locals pub.The people were friendly and eager to interact.There is a barbecue area at the rear of the premesis. Set in a residential road a hidden gem.

We were in the area and decided to try somewhere we hadnt been, so looked on trip advisor and picked one randomly. From the outside it just looks like a tiny little pub in the middle of a row of houses, and when you got inside , it was just like a step back in time. But everyone was friendly and helpful.The roast was 6.95 ,but we asked if we could have a piece of each meat(chicken,Beef,Pork and Gammon)and was just an extra pound. It was the biggest roast dinner i have been served for a long time and the most delicious.I had a homemade apple crumble and custard for desert which was again lovely and a bargain at 2.95.If you are going ,you wont be dissapointed

Typical pub atmosphere but the food is all fresh and very tasty plus very large portions. At £6.95 it is real value for money.
