Gaudio's Sandwich Bar in Slough

Friendly owner and staff. Clean place. Had sandwich from display case and they heated it up for us. We sat and ate outside.

The one star review I saw here must be a fake, this establishment is so tidy which is rare to see these days and it's clear the owners must take a lot of pride in running it, truly a breath of fresh air. I've been coming here for the last few weeks and there's usually a bit of a queue around lunch time, only a testament of the quality of the food (which is excellent and very tasty) and the friendly service. Great selection and very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended!

Stopped here to grab a quick lunch while working in the area. Excellent freshly made bap, coffee & the most delicious lemon tart with exquisite crumbly pastry (would rival the fresh bake counter at M&S anyday!) And all with quick service and at a good price. One very happy customer 😄

Popped in on the off chance, 1st visit, great bacon sarnie, also had ham tomato and cheese focaccia, a true delight. Can be busy first thing and mid morning. Will use every time I'm in Slough, you won't be disappointed!!!

Gave up my regular Subway in favour of something else. Checked out TripAdvisor and stumbled across this great little find. The queue was out the door which is always a good sign. Ordered a bacon, brie and caramelised onion panini and also a ham & swiss cheese focaccia with a touch of chilli mayo in for good measure. Flavours were off the charts compared to your regular sandwich locations. Service was rapid as well considering how busy it was. Gaudio's puts Slough on the map for lunch. This place is the monkeys nuts.

Located opposite the Regus office in slough 1 minute walk away from the train station. This place has now become my benchmark for in independent sandwich bars in which I compare places with. I have yet to find another place that matches its quality and value for money. The very is great, the staff are friendly and has a wide variety of food. It not only sells sandwiches but also Savory pies/sausage rolls, lasagne and soups. If the sandwich is not on display they are more than happen to make one up for you.I used to visit this place on a near enough daily basis as I worked opposite it, but since we relocated to central london we actually miss this little bar so much. Sometimes we joke about places not quite being Gaudio's which is a testament to how good this place actually is.

I regularly come here as a treat at least every couple of weeks. Their sandwiches and toasties are delicious. What I really love though is their salads. AMAZING value, very filling, tons of protein and veg. My favourite is the tuna but it does have a lot of onion in it which I personally don't mind. Just buy some mints too!!

Been coming here for years and its has always been consistantly brilliant. Great choice of sandwiches - the only problem is choosing one not all of them!

Very good service but surely the bread rolls need improvment.You ask for a crusty roll and when you bite into it its like rubber.trust me you need some strong jaws to bite and chew thru them.The issue is the rolls are exposed to the open air which dries the bread out.I would suggest the owner try his own rolls he sells to experience what i am talking about.Best is the sandwiches and paninis which are perfect.

I have to say they make the best bacon sandwiches in town and the Parsnip and chilli soup is to die for, well worth a visit.

We visited for lunch and were very impressed with the excellent service, high quality food/coffee and friendly welcome. Can't recommend highly enough especially as the road is pretty grim - we didn't expect to find anywhere, let alone such a little gem.

I used to come here basically everyday when I worked locally (as did 90% of my office) and I either used to have the chicken, bacon and jalapeno panini with my boss or a salami baguette/roll with salad, cheese and salad cream (and I wondered why I wasn't losing any weight?)

Hands down the best sandwich shop in town only problem is that they are so good they sell out fast! So get there earlier in the day if you can to avoid the lunch time rush.

If you are ever in this part of the world, this is the place to visit. The food is fresh, tasty and very well priced. The ham tomato and cheese on focaccia is really tasty.

One of the best if not THE best sandwiches you can get in Slough, Always fresh and if you unlucky you won't make it get one as they are disappearing quite quick. Would recommend!

He estado en este bar de sándwich en varias ocasiones mientras capacitación local. Quedé impresionado por la calidad y la selección de la comida, la limpieza del lugar, la velocidad del servicio y el precio, que era menos que el gran supermercado cruzando el puente!

Me regularmente conseguir mi almuerzo desde aquí y he querido escribir una crítica por un tiempo. Tienen una amplia selección de comida fría y caliente para el almuerzo, sus paninis y ciabatta son deliciosos y especialmente recomendado. El servicio es rápido y atento e incluso hacer algunos sabrosos pasteles italianos. Para rematar, todo a un precio razonable.

I really enjoy the sandwiches here an d on one particular day opted for the swiss cheese, italian ham and tomato foccacia grilled sandwich. I was not disappointed! In fact I decided i need to buy another one to double check it was a fluke... it was still delicious and very modestly priced to at £2.95. I really enjoy coming here as service is always with a smile! This is a guy that knows his sandwiches...and how you like yours! He even stopped me feeding non halal meat to a colleague once - what a guy!

The owner has been running this place for many years and it just gets better and better. Very conscientious and a fantastic selection of food. Not to mention great value too

He estado en este bar de sándwich en muchas ocasiones. Tengo que admitir que mis reservas después de que cambiaron de una tienda de delicatessen a una tienda de sándwiches, no podría haber sido más lejos de la verdad. baguettes frescos, panecillos, sopas, croissants, pasteles, café, té, etc. , todo servido con el máximo de atención. Excelente limpieza, WIFI gratuito, asientos disponible y bien presentado y amable personal. Recomiendo encarecidamente este bar de sándwich si estás en Slough, pasando por o si estás justo después de un fantástico almorzar a un costo extremadamente razonable; no le decepcionará.

Creo que los dueños metieron en Trip Advisor por mí! ¿Por qué? Porque me comentó sobre la comida que hacen. Fresco. Sabroso. Hecho con amor y cuidado. Y el servicio también es genial. He probado aire si lo que hacen y siempre ha sido fabuloso. Los precios son muy razonables.

Yo trabajo al lado y esta más veces frecuentes en el establecimiento de lo que probablemente debería. Por desgracia para el hombre detrás del mostrador no es por su ingenio y encanto (yo soy su cliente favorita realmente!) pero por la deliciosa y amplia variedad de comida disponible. A veces he tenido que pedir comida a domicilio porque las colas han estado fuera de la puerta! Asegúrese de probar que pronto, pero no pide el queso brie, jamón y Cranberry Panini ya que eso es la mina ok?
