This restaurant used to be the hot spot for our family, we’ve spent every birthday and special events at New Bettola. And although the service was always poor, the food was excelent and we would look pass the service. However, the food quality has also decreased the last two visits, and we have decided to no longer come. The calamari which used to melt in your mouth, was like a hair tie that would get stuck in your throat. The steak got more and more expensive and the portion is getting smaller. You might think customers don’t notice, but they do.

Great Great Italian, everything was fresh and tasty

We visited New Bettola for a family member’s birthday and we were very impressed. The customer service was perfect; we were greeted warmly, the owner came over to our table to make sure that everything was ok with our meal, and at the end of our dinner, a waiter stood holding a container full of lollies for my son (to his delight!) This all made for a lovely and warm experience. The food was lovely - delicious pizzas and pasta. Would highly recommend this lovely Italian restaurant.

Decent dining experience in a convenient location near Heathrow. Food was delicious, quick and priced about as expected for the area. Outdoor dining area was nice and airy in the summer. Constant stream of planes overhead could be distracting. Staff were very friendly and service was pleasant.

We booked here based on the proximity to Heathrow Terminal 5, and the reviews seen on various sites. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was also excellent. Just what we needed after a long drive down before dropping off at Heathrow, to be followed by a long drive back up to Yorkshire.

We were greeted at the door with a warm smile which heralded the overall experience of this unassuming restaurant. The spaghetti carbonara was creamy and al dente punctuated with divine slivers of smoked pancetta. The mixed salad was served crisp with a variety of leaves dressed with a light drizzle of vinaigrette. My father enjoyed the sea bass which was moist and cooked to perfection. The Sangiovese was delicious. The atmosphere was cordial and relaxed, perfect for two weary travellers.

This review is my personal opinion and from my personal taste. New Bettola was a gem i found out near Heathrow Airport. The staff made this solo traveler feel welcome. I had the calamari fritters. Do not let the color turn you off if you are accustomed to deeper fried. They are perfectly cooked and very fresh. The home-made tagliatelle and mushrooms with fresh parmesan cheese, incredible. Then i closed the meal off with lemon sorbet and an Americano. If you are in the area, stop in and visit.

This is the best Italian restaurant I've been to in a long time. We ordered starters and a pizza and everything was delicious. We will definitely come again as soon as we can.

Unfortunately Poor service. Had to get up to find someone to order and to pay. Food was OK. No atmosphere.

We found it expensive for the food we ordered, portions were small apart from the garlic bread...sorry but wouldn't go there again

It’s become a bit of a family tradition to go to New Bettola before we go on holiday! We usually stay at an airport hotel prior to our flight and get to New Bettola for our family dinner, we had a great evening and spent some time talking to the owner Tony, the staff are friendly, the service is good and the food is excellent!

I've been working in Colnbrook on and off for the past year and usually went to Windsor for food since there are plenty of options there. I hadn’t tried anything local before, but The New Bettola changed my mind. Although the place could use a little sprucing up, the food and service were fantastic. I’m glad I finally gave it a chance, and I’ll definitely be back for lunch next time I’m in Colnbrook! Highly recommend.

This restaurant is absolutely lovely! I visited with my family, and we were all impressed. The portion sizes were generous, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The service was fantastic—the waitstaff was incredibly quick, and we could even see our food being freshly prepared, which added to the experience. Highly recommend!

Booked a Room above for the Night The Friendly Owner Informed me food was being served until 10 pm. The smell and Wood fire oven were very appealing As a Vegetarian had Fungi Pizza fresh and delicious Rosemary Potatoes and a Cappuccino Paid 20 odd Quid very satisfied and full 👍

Restaurant was great on visiting from overseas right now and I always get pizza or a calzone anywhere I go and that was one of the best calzones I've ever had.

Slightly disappointed with our return visit this time. Husband had Scallops, and I chose the tricolour salad for starters Firstly, I expected slightly better tomatoes than just a regular one , with no depth of flavour, cut into possibly 6 pieces, of which 3 were on my plate. A few vine tomatoes would have made a whole lot of difference. Main course, my husband had the crab Ravioli from the Specials, and I chose the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, in butter and sage sauce. Again, mine was the disappointment … there were 6, just 6 ravioli on my plate… at a cost of £21.95, I felt that was an extortionate price for something with very little ingredients, and no meat cost… thankfully I’d ordered garlic bread, as I’d have been left hungry. I told my waitress my feelings for reasons of feedback, then I saw the portion sizes on another table, of bolognaise and carbonara… the portion sizes were opposite ends of the spectrum.. We then had the Tiramisu, which is never a disappointment…

Worst italian food and atmosphere and service I've received in a very long time We ordered cocktails and starters and mains and sides and soft drinks But 1 meal wasn't right, tasted weird and literally wasn't eaten all but 2 fork fulls. So we requested the one dish were taken from the bill The lady serving us turned into a beast her voice was raised she was so aggressive and contradictive towards us never in my life have I found myself in this situation being shouted at by a waitress because I didn't like my food? It was embarrassing for her and us and other guests Would never go back again

We live in California but we travel often and when we over night in London Heathrow we dine here. Food is totally authentic Italian and the Pizza from a wood fired oven takes you to Napoli.

Cozy Italian restaurant where the service is very friendly. The menu is relatively manageable, with something for everyone. There is also an additional weekly menu. The price is rather high, but the quality of the products justifies it. We had fresh homemade ravioli with ricotta and spinach or crab filling and the parmesan was freshly grated over it at the table when asked. Highly recommended, gladly again.

This was so wonderful as a dinner out for our first evening in London. Delicious food, drinks and desserts with our adult age daughters. Highly recommend!

Was staying for one night above the restaurant. I was seated without a problem the menu was good and with some specials but the Pizza I had was a really good size and freshly cooked there in the pizza oven behind the bar. Staff were really friendly and attentive when required and the bill was even better value. Would I go back absolutely!!

You have across the restaurant a really nice hotel but at Bettola do not go and eat it’s really bad expensive since new management. Before was a really nice place good food now it’s owned by some Albanians and it’s serving as a front for money laundering because they don’t care about the costumers or the food

Delicious authentic Italian food with excellent table service! We sat in the lovely middle sunroom, and we noticed real grapes were growing on the vine hanging from the ceiling! One of the hosts even cut a small bunch for us to try :) If you’re staying near Heathrow, consider stopping at New Bettola for a lovely dinner. Hoping we can come back on our next visit to London!

Fantastic find by a friend of ours, the food is excellent and the service very attentive, prices are not cheap however they are in line with the quality of what you get. WARNING do not be swayed by the kerb appeal of the front of the building the frontage really does not reflect the quality of what is inside, or for that matter the size of inside. Definitely worth a visit

Fabulous food at a very reasonable price. Right under the Heathrow glide slope, so great for plane spotters and a great place to eat if staying at a Heathrow Airport hotel.and fancy some decent food. Wood fired oven makes for great pizzas. Fresh seafood specials and authentic pasta dishes.

Nice family run Italian restaurant. Food was great, parking lot was good, easy to get to from airport hotel. I'm not too into Spanish vocal trance music but it wasn't too loud.

This evening a colleague and I were treated to a lovely, delicious meal at New Bettola. The food was wonderful, cooked to order and served by courteous and friendly staff. This may have been a spontaneous visit but definitely one that we hope to repeat, and one that will also affect our hotel choice when working locally. Many thanks!

Really good authentic Italian food. The crab ravioli was sensational and the prawn linguini was excellent. We split lemin cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. Both lovely. This is a highly reccomended place to eat if you are waiting for an early flight. A 10 minute walk from T 5 Hilton.

Ordered from Uber eats, spag bol was ok but our pizza arrive COLD. Not even warm, COLD. Usually when ordering food, I expect not to have to use my oven to re-heat the food I just payed a fortune for. Quite disappointed :)

This now my place to go when using Heathrow Airport. FYI if they bring you a lemon water filled bowl, don’t drink it, is to cleanse your fingers however, the food is finger licking good.

Lovely local restaurant. Very pleasant ambiance, great service, excellent food and good wine list. We were just a couple and it was a Monday night so it was quiet but with enough buzz so you did not feel awkward. However we have been there before with a large group on a Friday night when it was really busy and we found everything to be just as good. Highly recommend it if you fancy a little bit of Italy in Colnbrook.

It is a lovely restaurant, staff is always nice and friendly, very high standards. In regsrds to food - same good quality for inside the restaurant and take away. Portions are big probably better for dinner than for lunch. Pizza is hand streched and baked in proper pizza oven. All products looks fresh and taste amazing.

Cosy, warm Italian restaurant. I enjoy coming here a lot. Nice outside area with wine leaves on the roof during summer, casual inside dining area for colder days. Whenever I come here, I see Italians in groups dining as well, so must be the right place.

This is truly a hidden gem. We were starving when we got to the restaurant. We ordered 2 dishes from the chef's special menu. OMG, they are DELICIOUS! We had linguine with half lobster and King prawns (2 only but very fresh) in tomato sauce and a pizza with Italian sausage and some veggies as toppings (sorry can't remember all ingredients as we only wanted to order asap). The lobster and prawns were sooooo fresh, and the seasoning was on point. The pizza dough is amazing! crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, just the right thickness too! Tiramisu is quite generous portion. We left the restaurant with full and happy tummies! we sat by the window and saw some planes occasionally. Didn't hear any noise, only romantic classic playing in the background and laughters from other happy patrons. We are already planning another visit when we have to drive our friend to Heathrow!

I like the pizza. Very delicious. Ordering took quite some time. Once ordered, the pizza was served quickly. Unfortunately, this place is not kid frienly. My son had a soar throat. So, he couldn't have ice cream. I kindly requested to swap icecream with a drink (fruit shoot, etc.). They said no right away. This is unkind. Not all kids like icecream or could eat icecream.

Dropped in here early on a Saturday evening just after they opened. Everything they served was great, down to the little side salads with just the right amount of dressing. The carbonara was the best I've tasted in a long while. Pay the little extra for the freshly made pasta ... It's worth it!

Discovered by chance in a quiet London suburb. It was an amazing and surprising discovery. The atmosphere is very appealing, with a patio covered by a grapevine completing the decor. Food was more than excellent, with the best muscles we ever ate. Pity that we do not live in London

Our family group of 10 had a great time at this unprepossessing restaurant . Service throughout was professional and friendly and our young children were well catered for. Food was generous and excellent . You get used to being on the flight path.
