Senzo in Epsom and Ewell

Lovely set up for parents great coffee and selection of food snacks. Great little softplay attached to keep kids entertained.

So good you wouldn’t want to tell anyone! But this a fabulous hidden gem. Five of us tucked into delicious pastries and amazing Dirty Cappuccinos. Vegan smoothies & cold mocha on ice. Why go to a chain coffee shop??? Mad. Loads of space and comfy seats and super friendly staff!! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & highly recommended 👍

This place looks lovely and I stopped it in for a coffee. After paying for my drinks was pleasantly surprised to find a small play area in the back. The kids were thrilled to be able to play while we waited for our drinks. When I picked up the drinks I was asked if they were playing, I said yes and was told that I had only spent 6.50 and I had to have spent 7 for my kids to play. I appreciate they can’t have people walking off the street to use their lovely play area but c’mon, seems to be intentionally priced so that a mom with 2 kids buying three drinks has to buy something extra. Honestly probably would’ve paid it if there had been a note posted somewhere or if they had mentioned it when I paid but it felt a bit tacked on and rude, so we left. The coffee was nothing special and the experience left me feeling put off. Maybe if I lived a little closer I’d give it another try but it’s a trip in the car anyway so I’ll stick to places that feel a bit friendlier; life feels hard enough as a mum. I’ve given it 3 starts as I hope I caught them on a bad day.

I can't understand the raving reviews of this average cafe which has no redeeming features whatsoever. I came to check it out because of the reviews....That'll teach me! Average coffee....all airy froth and no creaminess and numbingly hot...as a trained barista myself I know the difference...comfier chairs in Costa! I wish them all the best because I know how hard work it is to run such a place....Tho I'm looking forward to Gail's opening on Friday......check it out!

Nice little gem. Staff are friendly and drinks are delicious. There are also a good collection of books.

Lovely little spot for a quick drink and food. Didn’t realise there is a mini soft play out the back too. Good for a coffee before getting the train.

Amazing shop the food is really nice and tastes great, Costa just got BEATEN.It has great customer service the food is nicely served and nicely cooked I love it so much! It’s my new favorite coffee shop.

The owner is not only passionate about coffee, but is very welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable; if you are not sure what you fancy, he is very happy to offer a recommendation. It pays to go local here.

Best cafe I’ve been to in ages. The staff were smiley and efficient, the quality of the coffee and food was excellent, the cafe is smart with a great selection of seating areas and the best bit of all was the little play area (small slide, ball pit, climbing area). Our kids adored it

Trying to support local businesses rather than chains my friend and I popped in here rather than Costa next door. So glad we did! We were made to feel really welcome, the coffee was amazing and the staff were constantly cleaning down tables and chairs as people left so it felt very safe. Really recommend it.

Found this independent coffee shop whilst looking for a place to work and wait. Very much recommend it. The owner is very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Happy to engage in a friendly conversation with genuine interest or leave you in peace if you're busy. Needless to say, the coffee was great. Look forward to visiting again after lockdown when full services are up and running.

Recommended by our daughter, we visited on a Saturday morning with the family. Good atmosphere, and coffee to die for, it was that good. Efficient service and friendly staff who were kept very busy with the numbers of customers. Many young families catered for with a soft play area at the rear. Wheelchair accessible with one big loo for all. Only downside is the acoustics where we were sitting. With many hard surfaces, sound tended to echo so it became quite noisy.

This coffee shop is 2 doors down from Epsom Rail Station. It is a wonderfully friendly and professionally run business. The staff are lovely and the owners AJ and Saima ensured that our very specific request regards food and coffee were perfectly undertaken. The quality of both the food and coffee was superb and both AJ and Saima took the time to speak with customers. A real gem of a find!

Friendly staff and one of the best espessos I have had in a long time. The atmosphere if chill and so is the music. If you are in Epsom, this is a must coffee place to visit.

I started visiting when I was pregnant and now with my baby. I always feel welcome, and it always has a nice mix of people... families, commuters, workers. The food is tasty, and you don’t feel rushed to eat it!There is a soft play at the back but it’s not at all noisy if you aren’t there for that!

Having stayed next door in the hotel, Senzo’s was in the perfect location for me to have my morning coffee. Great staff and fantastic atmosphere.

We visited with my daughters husband and our grandson. Friendly helpful staff, great coffee, and we live in Italy so the bar is set pretty high! Great soft play area. Highly recommended.

I have lived in Epsom for the duration of my university experience and without doubt it is the best place to buy coffee and food in Epsom. Highly recommend. Senzo is like my other family in Epsom.

Couldn't recommend this place enough, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Caters for all people...nice and quiet tables at the front or a space for mums and children at the back with a soft play area.

Great choice of drinks as well as hot or cold snacks. Charming and professional staff who can tell the difference between those in a rush to catch a train and those with time to sit down to relax. This is such a welcome addition to the options available in central Epsom. There's a separate little mums & kiddies area too.

On 22/06/18, I needed some peace and quiet to work for couple of hours whilst waiting for my train. From the moment I stepped in the coffee shop, I was impressed by the friendliness and big smiles of the staff who couldn't do enough to welcome and help me by offering plug for laptop and charging my phone and a lovely cup of tea to accompany. After two hours, when I went to pay, the owner would not have the money but asked if I managed to all my work. I could not believe when he told me that the shop had closed two hours ago and they waited for me to finish. I felt overwhelmed by their generosity, sensitivity and open hearts as they did not make any noise that would have given me an idea that they shop was closed; I was drowned in my work totally oblivious to the sacrifices being made by these individuals. Such height of decency, hospitality and courtesy has never been seen before. Above all, they would not accept money for the tasty tea.

Visited here a couple of times during a local business trip. EXCELLENT staff, EXCELLENT coffee and EXCELLENT food. Don't waste your time going to a big chain, these guys are brilliant.

The best coffee this side of Italy in my view. So much better than the more commercial options on offer on the high st. Great atmosphere and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommended for a more personal friendly experience and with superb coffee.

It was raining and cold all we wanted was a coffee. Having been directed to one of the big chain coffee shops we went into the door of the next coffee shop. Senzo’s has this great atmosphere serving fantastic coffee with great pastries and fresh made snacks. Next time I am in Epsom I know just the place for a good coffee and snack with a very friendly atmosphere

Really enjoyed this hidden gem! Really convenient, not too overpriced! The best part was how kind and personable the staff are. We felt very welcome and will begin to start using as our local. (from the crazy scrabble players!)

Lovely modern bright cafe style eatery in Epsom. Popped in for a coffee on a very busy day in Epsom. It's by the railway station so a little less crowded than coffee shops on the high street. Wondered why the place was dominated by families then noticed the soft children's play area that isn't advertised outside. Nice modern feel to the place an goods coffee and food. Nice addition to Epsom

We regularly come here when in Epsom. Great coffee and food. The kids can play in the soft play at the back so we can have a quiet coffee!

I've only been in Epsom around a month now, and Senzo has quickly become my new favourite place for coffee/food/snacks. The espresso is such good quality, and all the food I've tried (oat/yoghurt pots, pancakes, scrambled eggs & salmon) have been great. They also stock some my favourite brand of protein bars; bonus.

Friendly staff and a great, fresh-looking interior. It’s right next door to Costa which looks rather tired by comparison. If you’re into non-dairy coffee, they stock better alternatives than any rival including Almond. They cater for gluten and dairy free and are in the process of adding more cakes to the menu.

Nice food and lovely people, good place right by epsom station so good to grab a quick coffee on the way to work.

My first impression was, wow this is clean, boutique and great for the kids! A great place to meet friends and family whilst you let the kids have fun in the soft play area. Let’s be honest here- it’s a unique concept in the area and I highly recommend this place! Very different in style and atmosphere to normal the soft play and coffee establishment which put this place in a good position. You will see all sorts of people here from students to business men and older folk who just want a nice moment to themselves.

Senzo has it all: friendly staff/Manager, great coffee and delicious snacks options. And if you really enjoy coffee you can ask the Manager for one of his own recipes, he’s bound to find your new favourite coffee mix!

It's not always easy to find a good coffee shop that doesn't burn the coffee and gives you froth that's more air and not very creamy. I got a great decaf mocha here with soft creamy fluffy froth (the way it's supposed to be) - I thought I was back in NZ!!
