I too visited Scottās on many occasions yet their behaviour is abrupt and hostile! They ruined our evening of celebrations and were discriminated because of our race ! They did this to another black Caribbean couple also next to us for no reason! After this I realised itās discrimination as everyone else was not mixed race ! Shane on Scottās rude racist people

Genuinely such a brilliant experience. Restaurant was absolutely packed (and rightly so!) but we arrived without a reservation and were more than happy to wait while a table was sorted for us, but I think we got lucky as one opened up fairly quickly and staff were friendly and chatty while we waited. Staff are busy but service never felt slow. Food was incredible. Prices were surprisingly very, very reasonable! The menu had loads of options and something for everyone (assuming seafood is your thing!). Thereās a great kids menu available for our toddler too. Really cannot recommend Colmanās enough - definitely a must visit in South Shields. Special thanks to Lana, who was so kind as friendly and really went out of her way to make it a great experience. Will 100% be back asap!

We first went for a meal here in November and really enjoyed it, so returned for my sonās 18th. Unfortunately it didnāt meet the same standards tonight. The table wasnāt ready as there was a group of people still eating over their allotted time, however it was soon sorted. The starter of calamari was a bit chewy and stuck together. I ordered the seafood pasta which I had eaten before however the sauce was watery and bland. My husband had the lemon sole which is over priced, Ā£35 for a piece of fish mainly bone with one oyster and no accompaniment. We were done in within an hour. Not what we had planned for such a special occasion.

Booked the Old Sail Loft in March for our visit over Easter, booking was confirmed, and we thought all was well when we set off from Manchester to make the 5 hour journey down to Lovely Looe...It wasn't until the day before our reservation that we noticed it was closed and a non-informative message scribbled on a blackboard outside about it being closed. I emailed the owner to check whether or not our reservation was going to happen the following night, only to receive an abrupt response saying no it wasn't...!?!?! No apology or alternative...? So basically, If i hadn't been there the day before we would've turned up to an empty/closed restaurant as they didn't have the common decency to let us know...In times of economic troubles this isn't how i would run a business if i was trying to attract returning customers... Bad practice all round...

Lovely restaurant situated on the canal side with plenty of paid for parking nearby. The staff were welcoming and attentive during our visit. We didnāt eat a full meal on this occasion but the food being served to others looked very good. The cakes we had were yummy and good value. With seating inside and out, itās worth a try.

Absolutely fantastic seafood experience at CuttleFish in Oxford! We tried the paella, tuna steak, moules mariniĆØres, and classic fish and chipsāeach dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully cooked. The tuna was perfectly seared, the paella rich and aromatic, and the mussels were a standout. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great seafood!
