The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

This is a fantastic chip shop. My husband had fish and chips and I had battered sausage and they were excellent. Not to greasy and great portion size. Will definitely return

After several visits for our special celebrations, my better half always put the steak here as his number one and compares other steakhouses to this place—and for good reason! It’s absolutely worth visiting and spending on the high-quality food and drinks. The atmosphere is great, the food is fantastic, but what stands out the most is the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly attentive and took such good care of us throughout the evening. I was celebrating my husband’s pre-birthday, and one of the lovely staff member noticed this and thoughtfully asked the chef to arrange a special birthday dessert. That small personal touch was so thoughtful and much appreciated. Even though the place was packed, the staff paid close attention to the smallest details and remained friendly and professional. Highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or just any time you fancy a good steak.

Waited over 30mins for a takeaway to get home to 3 cod and chip that was smothered in grease soft soggy batter on cod all chips soft and sloppy chips. Gherkins missing, mushy peas was not even hot. And considering I spent over £50 i was so disappointed. Will never go bk or recommend it even to someone with no teeth and taste buds. 9 years ago I came here and it was the best around. Such a shame

This place has gone right down hill, Previously (about 3 months ago) Brought cod and chip, and the fish tasted like it had gone off! tonight we decided to give it another go and ordered pie and chip, the pie was so over cooked it was not edible! Apparently 5 minutes in the microwave. Which I think is excessive. Mother Kelly's all the way from now on. Sad as it used to be one of the best.

Just stumbled on this fish and chips shop and what a find!! I have to say I have lived in Northampton for 7 years now and this fish and chips was by a country mile the best I have ever tasted. I would even go as far to say it’s on a par with Harry Ramadens Bournemouth!! If you get chance pop in to Nick’s Plaice and try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed!!! It’s not 5* it’s 6*

The best fish and chip I've had in years. The batter was light and crispy the fish was cooked to perfection and the chips was tasty without a bitter after taste. I would recommend the chippy and give a score 💯 You have to try it for yourself and thank me later.

Great Upper Class arrival and straight to the Club House All the staff were very attentive and especially Lisa who looked after us. Having used Emirates and BA lounge this was a return visit having not flown with Virgin for over 10 years. Keep doing what you do- great service.

Our second lunch before the end of pier show matinee & once again it was great. Most of the tables have a sea view. The service was attentive & both our starters & mains were great With some wine, one dessert & coffees the bill came to around £100 which these days is good value. Better value & better quality cooking than the White Horse at Brancaster Staithe. Allow a couple of hours for lunch and it sets you up well for the 2:30 matinee performance on the pier.

Excellent Experience the restaurant is modern and well laid out. The front of house staff were professional and welcoming. The food was delicious packed full of flavour and great seasonal choices worthy of the Michelin guide recommendation. A must visit. Hope to see you again when we return to Looe

What an experience. We had a super warm welcome when we arrived and were looked after perfectly. My husband really loved his birthday Prosecco so thank you for that extra touch. If you go, I implore you to have to the seafood boil. I’ve never had seafood like it, flavour was sublime and very well cooked. Also special mention to the anchovy butter 🤤. We will be travelling the distance to come back. Thank you x

Right next to the ferry terminal, can stroll to it while you wait to load, pizza is fair priced and up there with the very best. Lads are lovely, service was great, chatty and funny. If I’m ever here again I know where I’m going.
