True chips, proper size. Shame they only do one size fish. Couldn't eat it all. Over £10 per portion.

Real GOOD Fish & Chips and other here. Have been using this place for years and never had any problems with anything. Thank you.

Worst take away food we have ever had. soggy batter, pineapple fritter taste off, chicken burger was dry and stale bun. Poor effort we won't be going there again.

Omg my wife just came home with this for dinner. Battered sausage was OK, pea fritter felt like a washing up cloth absolutely dripping with grease and the chips were so soggy and stuck together with grease most of it went in the bin. Looking at other reviews I'll put this experience down to the fact it was a busy Friday night with a long que in front of her, not sure I'd be willing to try it again though and on this occasion I can only describe the food as an absolute disgusting soggy greasy mess!

Best chips in Ringwood, big portions. Good service. Will try cod next visit but that also looked great. Have now tried cod out of this world No skin perfect batter, give it a try soon you will have to queue 😉

Fish and the chips seem very dry and pretty flavourless. Have had much better from here before and much better at Karsburg ferdown. They must be frying in something else, not their usual oil. Think I knock it on the head going here.

If you like very soggy chips and overcooked fish this is the place to go. We went there early this week and half of the meal went in the nearby bin.In the past I have had fairly good F&C from here. They should not sell poor food near the end of the day.

Whenever I fancy to good fish and chips I go here, definitely the best place in Ringwood. Staff always seem friendly, and service is very quick, and the portions very generous I struggle to finish it all. Plus their lunch deals are a real bargain! Would recommend if you are in Ringwood for the day.

Amazing fish and chips in the heart of Ringwood! Fish tastes fresh with a light batter, and the chips have great flavour. They also do these spring rolls that aren't really advertised anywhere I could see. They offered them to me once and ever since then, I have to have them. They're slender and the filling had a delicate ginger flavor that is delicious. Ask for them if you stop in! You won't regret it!

Best chips in the world always exceptional

My partner and i have used this fantastic fish and chip shop many ,many times Haddock & chips x 2 Cod & chips with mushey peas is our usual order. our last visit was in February before lockdown so tonight's visit was eagerly anticipated...and sure enough my partner and her mother's Haddock and Chips was really enjoyed. As for mine ..chips (huge portion) mushy peas were exellent as always However the cod was completely inedible Seriously over cooked, chewy and tasteless. What a shame ...I'm sure this was a blip and wont stop us using this fish bar again. But I was really looking forward to my fish supper but sadly its ended up on the back lawn ...hopefully our resident foxes will mop it up along with loads of chips.

For 2 years I have placed a large monthly order at lunchtimes for a local retirement living development. I collect the order at noon, it’s always ready on time, Fish & Chips served with a piece of lemon in boxes, bagged up. It’s always piping hot and made fresh to order. Owners always say how delicious and tasty it is. I would recommend this Fish & Chip Shop to all and definitely for those catering for large groups. It’s good value for money, perfectly cooked and always served with a smile. Thank you James and team.

As a family, we regularly visit Ringwood Fish Bar for fish and chips. It is, in our opinion, the best in the area. Haddock and chips is a favourite.

Cheap prices. Quality food. Friendly staff. I had a chicken burger with chips for £3.30 and couldn’t fault it. Served perfect temperature and didn’t take long at all maximum of 5 minutes waiting time. Defiantly recommend

This is the only place to get a yummy tasty moist pea fritter. I have got chips from here before but they are a little dry so can't eat that many. Fish is nice . But no matter what I will always get a pea fritter from this shop

we have fish and chips for here on a Thursday evenings on a regular basis and with always enjoyed them. this evening we had Haddock and chips. sadly the fish was so dry we gave both portions to our 3 dogs. the chips were just small bits. the mushie peas were brilliant. don't know what went wrong this evening

Best fish and chips for many a year. Places to sit and eat nearby on a nice evening. Will definitely remember this one for future stops.

My son, who has been studying in the UK for 5 years, said this was the best fish and chips he had ever eaten. The fish is made from the freshest and best snowfish raw materials, so the meat is full of umami and juicy. The fries are sweet and pink. In addition, every employee is friendly and worth recommending.

Fantastic quality and great prices. I had scampi and chips. Scampi very tasty and juicy and generous portion. Huge bag of proper chips. Companions had large pieces of battered cod again with huge portion of chips. Around £6 what a bargain !!!

Great quick polite service. The small Fish was yummy but a little bit oily. Chips tasted great nice and hot. Chicken and mushroom pie was really yummy best I've had in a long time. Nice cold drinks but you needs more flat drinks instead of just fizzy and water drinks though. Pea fritter wasnt very nice dry and tasteless no one can make creamy tasty pea fritters, the battered sausage was hot but dry and over cooked. But over all it was a ok meal thank you

Great chip shop. Everythings so fresh and prepared with care. We go out of our way to order from here. Love all the flavoured salts, real vinager and wooden forks. Love crunching through your fresh batter too.

As my partner and I were let down by another Fish and chip shop in Poulner, we had to rather quickly find another take-away. This one fitted the bill and made us a brilliant meal in half the time that other similar restaurants do. This was also considering they were very busy. Good job!
