Glorious sunshine. Wonderful surf. Great food.

We are currently on holiday and ate a lovely meal here tonight, we both ordered fish, chips and mushy peas. It was absolutely delicious, I have never tasted batter as light and crispy. The staff were all really pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. You will not be disappointed if you choose to eat here.

Good food. Spacious setting. Dog friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Great service.

We had a meal on Thursday evening, great service, food and drink. Three of had the banana blossom fish and chips it was delicious.

I always enjoy coming here. Very nice service and the food tastes delicious.

Food and service was good, been twice during our holiday, but more choice needed menu wise I feel.

Lovely dog friendly spot, staff are so accommodating and welcoming. We arrived just after breakfast had finished, sadly, but they whipped us up bacon sandwiches which were delicious. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated. My only suggestion would be that breakfast is served until a bit later than 10:30am. We look forward to returning here when we visit the area again - thank you all!

Me and three friends went for a much looked forward to lunch yesterday 23/3 The smell of the chlorine from the pool on the other side of the glass partition to the cafe was overpowering. Two of us had the fish gougon sandwich, I can honestly say it was the most appalling “sandwich “ Iv ever had. The deep fried offering was obviously dumped on the dry stale bread straight from the fryer, so the oil (which tasted well past it sell by date) soaked into the bread over a couple of leaves and tartar sauce. Vile. We told the waitress when asked if all was ok, that no it wasn’t. She replied that they had staff problems and took 50p off the the £9.50 sandwich. Won’t be back. Enough said.

We live locally and love The Park, the staff, the pool and all the facilities are/were brilliant as always. Unfortunately the food was really poor last time we ate. Very fatty, no taste or seasoning, dry old bread, over cooked fish and chips. Also quite expensive for the standard and choice. PLEASE look at the menu, put some more fresh vegetables and local produce. We'll definitely be back for a swim, but unlikely to have dinner.

Wonderful food and excellent service

We go back to the Park every year and the Kitchen is always good value and a good time.

Very disappointed on last visit we visit the Kitchen on 4 occasion in the last 7 days, 1 take away and 3 times eating in for evening meal, first 3 occasion food, drink and service were excellent. My wife had the pear and walnut salad 3 times I had it twice from her recommendations. The 3rd time we chose the pear salad it was prepared by the 3rd different chef in the 7 day's. The first two chefs cannot be faulted the food was excellent as per menu, plenty of lettuce, walnuts, pear and small cubes of blue cheese, cranberries and a honey dressing. 3rd chef on last visit was disappointing lot of lettuce, not much blue cheese looked like a few cubes quartered as was the walnuts and pear strips the crouton were omitted and the dressing was like a garlic mayo. My son chose the halloumi burger had it before it was excellent chose it again on last visit completely different very oily and included sliced tomato not on the menu description thou. My son does not like tomatoes they don't always agree with him so if they are on the menu they are omitted. The service was very good on all visit.

The relatively quiet restaurant had me concerned at first - but the staff were very welcoming. To start we had the Arancini and Calamari. The Arancini had an exciting curried twist (good not bad!) and whilst I’d expected fried from frozen rubbery rings, the calamari was fresh and delicious! For mains we both had the burgers. Great burger with thoughtful inclusion of toppings. Perhaps would’ve been nice to have the burger a little pink rather than well done given the high quality of the meat! Well worth checking out - and reasonably priced to boot!

Its rare that i take the time to review a restaurant but the food here was excellent! Family of 4 and we had the arancini & calamari for starters followed by pizza, burger, chicken burger & mushroom tagliatelle , all were delicious and cooked to perfection . My only complaint was that the portion sizes were so generous we had no room for dessert! Staff were attentive & friendly and my 5 year old son loved playing in the little soft play area while waiting for his food. I would definitely return next time we’re in Cornwall .

The food (fish and chips, tagliatelle mushrooms and garlic) was lovely and the young waiter was especially good and considering his age , very polite and helpful . Also the restaurant is dog friendly

The balcony is a fab place for a cocktail at the end of the day. The food was OK, we just had the burgers, nothing special though, so don’t believe the menu description. Don’t believe the ‘were fully booked’ mantra as there were loads of tables free when we got there early. They need to stop it as it’s annoying and unnecessary- it will put people off

A special birthday breakfast for the last day of our annual trip was made so much more special thanks to the lovely staff at the Park. The food is always delicious here and the service we received was excellent. Thank you so much for accommodating our large group and for going the extra mile for the birthdays. See you next time!

Outstanding food served with friendly, attentive service. Don’t let the location fool you, this is a gem. We had the Sunday roast and will absolutely return. Chuffed we found this slightly off the beaten path restaurant.

Lovely food and drink and great service.

An early evening meal here was good and the atmosphere is friendly, we were sheltered indoors this visit but when the weather is better you can be outside. Oh yes and when it is quiet you could use their indoor pool for a small change. We saw several people book it whilst we were there but didn't come equipped to swim ourselves. Mawgan Porth also has small shops including one that still sells the last pots of the proverbial Roger's Own Jams "lovingly handmade" in Trenance - enjoy them! We first discovered this delicious local jam maker some 6 years ago and always buy a pot of strawberry or rasberry jam in a shop at St Mawgan. You can also buy the local farm eggs at the shop in St Mawgan.

It's usually pretty chill here.. The food is good and the staff are helpful. There's a kids play area and a nice pool with steam room and sauna

We came here both mornings while we were in the area, a family of 4 and our dog, and we had delicious breakfasts both times!! Really lovely restaurant with welcoming staff!! Would definitely recommend!!

Had a lovely Sunday roast and was a great start to our stay at the Park. Great food, great place, great staff and perfect location.

Chilled vibe. Delicious food. And a pool you can pay a small fee to use - either indoor or outdoor. Great little find! The seafood chowder was excellent and the fish finger sandwich was fab!

Family has just enjoyed the full Sunday lunch menu - pork, beef and nut roast with all the trimmings!! Absolutely magic and super value too!!!

We were able to book a session as visitors to use the Parks swimming pool facilities and cafe. A really clean, small pool, with a small children's separate shallow area. We had the use of steam and sauna rooms. Excellent facility at a reasonable price. At the cafe we were able to order a light lunch which was very tasty. Would certainly recommend booking in advance if you are just a visitor and not staying in The Park.

A beautiful way to dine. A warm and lovely swimming pool facility. Free sauna and Turkish bath and some warm showers. Staff all very friendly

This is a 5 Star rating for the Food unfortunately not for the Service I feel some Staff need further training in Customer relations and How it contributes towards a Better Dining Experience .Negatives out the way The Food is Outstanding Fresh Flavorsome ,we’ve ate up and down the Cornish Coast all week at Fancy restaurants but this place was far by the Best for Food.

Our family of 4 had lunch here after using the indoor swimming pool. Great value for money if a slightly limited menu, due to them being short staffed and they were very accommodating. Food was lovely and we all cleared our plates. We will be returning to eat here again.

Visited here for our final night in Cornwall and was not disappointed. Food is fantastic quality, well presented and great portion size. Finding good quality vegetarian food can be tough but these guys have it nailed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The most delicious Sunday Lunch!! Cant recommend highly enough. The roast beef was full of flavour and tender. The whole meal was well seasoned and the portions very generous. We obviously polished it all off as it was too good to leave any scraps!! Very reasonably priced at £13 each which we though was excellent value. Thankyou to the whole kitchen and restaurant team for a lovely afternoon. We will definitely be back!

While visiting decided to have lunch, after using the brilliant outside pool. BEST fish finger sandwich I have ever had!!! Can't recommend eating here enough. My friends enjoyed fish and chips, pizzas, arancini and sausage sandwiches. All were fab! Staff were really friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back again very soon! Highly recommend.

This is our second visit and we were not disappointed. The Roast Beef and accompanying veg were excellent. All cooked to perfection with great service provided.Lovely atmosphere, relaxed and welcoming. The only shame was, I was too full to do dessert justice! If you are in the area please give this restaurant a go ~ you won’t regret you did.

Came here today for breakfast (27.02.2022). The Full Cornish you could tell was good produce. Good atmosphere and the pool an added bonus. Our issue is with staffing. The gentleman with the long brown hair serving us we thought was quiet abrupt and patronising. Only reason this place is not 5 stars which is a shame.

What a find! The chef is very talented and creative. We weren't staying at the park, simply looking for somewhere to have a nice lunch. This place had a great menu with firm favourites (handcooked fish finger roll) and some very creative and deliciously tasty...

Our grandchildren were lucky enough to book a slot in the Park's swimming pool, which was just great. The Kitchen restaurant looks onto the pool so after the swim we had a very enjoyable lunch. Would certainly recommend a visit.

What a great local find. Stopped in for lunch as the rest of the area was rammed. Brilliant food. Cool little kids play area that kept them entertained, and good drinks. Ticked all the boxes nicely and will definitely be going back again 👍

Found this place by chance, excellent service, great food and very reasonably priced. Will definitely return here. IPA lovers should try the Offshore Pilsner, a local cornish beer. Very nice.

We stopped here for brunch on the way back to London and can’t understand how this place has 4.5 stars. My partner ordered the smoked salmon and poached eggs which were dry and completely overdone. I had the pancakes which tasted like they were out...

Very spontaneous last minute eve meal as we had,nt booked anything prior to arriving in Mawgan Porth.. but I have to say really nice staff although we sat outside and delicious food so we have booked to go back for a Sunday lunch.. First class, would highly recommend..!!!

The restaurant was a lovely setting, with a contemporary feel, the food was very good and the staff excellent (especially Alice) who was an excellent front of house waitress. She was knowledgable, funny and very attentive. Would recommend highly.

Didn't sample the food, but it did look nice. However it is overpriced, had a Coca Cola 330ml bottle and it cost £3!!! Bit of a rip off. Decided against food. I get it's aimed at the rich tourists being on a luxury holiday park, but still too expensive for us locals.

Visited the Kitchen by the Beach on Monday 5th October - just a perfect meal set in a relaxed venue. Great staff as well. Loved it!

We had a lovely meal here whilst staying at The Park for a weekend break. A great atmosphere and the two girls that looked after us were fantastic. All our needs were taken care of from the moment we arrived to when we left. They took the time to chat with us while we enjoyed our meal. I had the burger from the special menu that evening and it was one of the best burgers I have had. Well done to all the staff at The Kitchen for a wonderful experience in these strange times.

We were staying at the park and ate in the restaurant upon arrival and also again another night, plus a takeaway too. All three times the food was lovely, the squid is so moreish and the other fish dishes and burgers were just as nice....

Just had the most amazing food here.. so reasonably priced. I have paid double what I paid here for this standard of food and service. 5 mins walk from Mawgan Porth beach...not well sign posted in village but give it a try ...you won't be disappointed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a relaxed restaurant that serves people staying at the Park and anyone just dropping in. It's family and dog friendly. But most importantly the food is excellent. We had a great dinner there and the food was delicious and good value. It compares very favourably to any pub in the area. As we stayed in the Park we also had breakfast here and wow. That was so good. Kept me going all day. Great choice. Loved it.And it really is worth adding a note about the staff. This is not cliché, simple fact: they are attentive, helpful, happy, and nothing is too much. Finally, Sunday lunch is the best you can get. Anywhere.
