The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

Wanted to charge a mother of a gluten free child and additional £3.50 because he has Celiac disease and can't have gluten in his diet. calling it " the gluten free fee" charging £.1.50 per item! Making a kids meal which should be £8 cost £11.50! The high chair was sticky amd had ground in dirt. I left! Ordered nothing and vowed to never come back! I understand the need to charge a little more for free from food due to increased costs to source and provide these options safely but 3.50 ... For a kids meal that's not on!

Had our food delivered fish chips, fish was very small, chips very very small portions, prices total rip off, never again will i go there total rip off never ever again

I mostly order from wai sing if we have a take out as our food we order there is always plenty for everyone and always left overs ..

Visited here as a family and the food was not great. Could you see what we were likely getting as no food in the counter, when it arrived, batter was soggy but overcooked, chips we’re okay, but loads of sharp scraggy bits included, pretty pale. Peas were cold, and not very nice, all of it smelled like dirty/unclean oil. Won’t be going back when we visit again, and if you’re thinking of going here, keep walking into the town for an alternative

I used to go to this place years ago. I was in town and thought to pop in and WOW god forbid you want to go here as a young person!!! I have never experienced such awful customer service. Was stared down as soon as I entered, with not a word said. Went and sat in the back. Okay portion but an extortionate price and the quality has gone right down. Staff moaned the entire time aloud and only spoke nicely to other elderly people. It's like they have a disdain for the people who are not going to be keeling over anytime soon. I was polite despite this and as I paid I said thank you and tried to make small talk to the older gent who then interrupted me to say the payment has gone through, not even a thank you or goodbye. Worst customer service I've ever experienced (and I travel the world for work). Can't wait for the place to find new management. Talk about disappointing. Go to Shepherd's or Bina's instead.

No había recibido cierta parte de mi comida así que volví a pedirla y fui muy educado pidiendo mi comida , pero cuando la pedí, me respondieron groseramente y terminé recibiendo mi comida pero el horrible servicio al cliente vino de eso. Anteriormente cuando recibía mi comida me pedía el pedido correcto y luego no terminaba recibiendo la comida correcta y recibía un pedido diferente sin saber si era de otra persona o el mío solo estaba desordenado y terminó cobrando £ 3 extra pero sin querer decir nada si era un error. Es por eso que no recomendaría ir a la captura en Netherlee Clarkson, y si lo haces y tienes una buena experiencia de que esto fue solo mi experiencia personal, esto ha estado pasando con mucha gente que conozco y teniendo críticas mixtas de otros. El servicio de atención al cliente puede haber sido solo de mi servidor, pero esto ha sucedido demasiadas veces para no responder. En su mayoría pueden ser buenos, pero yo estaría preparado.

We had the most delicious fish and chips we have had for ages - crisp tasty batter and light fluffy fish, as well as very nice chips. The staff were also very friendly and nice. Highly recommend.

Service has definitely slipped since we last visited. We had coffee which was OK however when the tray was passed over. It was filthy, didn't look like it had seen a clean for a while. Premium prices and poor quality.

Fish and chips were excellent. Ordered mushy peas and got curry sauce!! Ordered forks...got nothing. Steak pie was soggy, like microwaved

God awful. Save your sanity and your bowels. They have no sense of taste or hygiene. The stories have heard about how they prep food is awful. Along with the terrible food, it’s nearly unaffordable itself

We had cod and chips on a weeknight. Ordered in their website for collection. They charged extra for ordering directly on their website compared to In the shop. Waited ages. The chips were pale and unappetising. The fish was disgusting. The batter has a strange flexible texture, not crispy. It had soaked up a serious amount of oil. It was orangey colour. Don't risk going. Head to one of the fish and chip shops on Uckfield high street.

This place has gone downhill rapid you cannot run a fish and chip shop with teenagers food is undercooked I have pictures to prove this one of my children had a chip on his plate that had been knowhere near the fryer you’ve got teenagers sat in the seating area causing havoc and making people uncomfortable avoid this chippy it’s shocking

overpriced,I,VE NEVER SEEN ANYWHERE THAT CHARGED 80P FOR A PICKLED ONION!,didnt get the sausage i ordered with my chips, and my wifes burger made her ill. AWFUL

Just had the worst meal from here. Normally go to the one on Monkston which I can’t fault but this one tonight was not good. Ordered a spring roll, battered sausage and chips. The spring roll was a long way from being a spring roll, there was no bean sprouts, full of sweetcorn and peas, and not much else, it was half the size of the ones I normally get, it was floppy and cold. The sausage was luke warm and full of grease, every bit coated my mouth in grease and very unpleasant. Chips Luke warm too. Won’t be going again
