Great service and food was excellent

How can you get a small tray of chips wrong????? When I use this chippy now I'll only risk chips and gravy curry and chips etc, nearly broke my teeth on the chips god knows how long they had been lying around for! This place is defo in the running for the worst chippy in Liverpool. I should of swerved it when I saw the woman who usually works behind the counter frying all the food. Avoid this health hazard people!!!!!!!!!

Just bought a Large Donner all I can say is it went in the bin, on the walk back home liquid was dripping out of the wrapping, on opening it the Pitta Bread was soaking wet with juice from the chilli sauce the salad was sloppy and brown edges on all of it, it had one slice of cucumber and it was curled up as if dried out the one slice of tomato was mush I had to pour the liquid out of the box and put the Donner on a plate but it was still awash with red liquid, I could not be bothered to walk back and luckily bought chips so had a chip butty. Not nice so sad had many great donners from here but this was inedible. I will never go back and have been using this chip shop since 1978.

Called other day First appearance Scruffy stuff all other and a group of males were very loud & there language wasn't pleasant, staff weren't bothered and didn't say anything to them made me thing twice on ordering as we where going to eat in. We ordered everything cooked fresh once we received it looked and smelt Loverly, wrapped up and took it home it was Loverly and tasty. We

Booked a table for 4 over a week in advance. We turned up 5 minutes before our allocated time to find the place all locked up. Despite there being lights on in.the upstairs rooms no one came to answer the door despite ringing the bell and knocking!!! We left a note through the door stating that we had in fact been to the place but still no one had the decency to ring with an explanation. We left our telephone number at the time of booking. Never have we experienced such treatment from anywhere in Anglesey and would.not advise anyone to go there. Incidentally we had travelled some 15 miles to get there!!!!

Ok not the cheapest but then to be expected inside a theme park! Portion sizes were good and service was fab! Server even mentioned blue light card which we had but wasn’t aware we could use for a discount! Ketchup was provided free (not many places do this)

Husband ordered fish n chips and pork rib supper. They used frozen chips and the fish was dry. Very poor. Won't be back.We thought chip shops used fresh tatties.😨

Big mistake fish batter on one side was soggy and not much fish. Chips were anaemic and soggy. Go to Clarence instead

Calked en para pescado y patatas fritas para llevar a casa que está en 1/4 de milla de distancia y estaban fríos como de costumbre. Tuve que meterlos en el horno para calentarlos de nuevo. . . . . .

The food was really good, the staff was friendly and great customer service. Would highly recommend.

Necesitaba refresco en un viaje cansado caliente, así que pedí compartir un gran eglefino & chips. Tanto fish & chips eran muy frescos y sabrosos, realmente dio en el punto. Los guisantes estaban un poco prefabricados, pero la salsa tártara era excelente. Precio muy modesto también. ¡Volveremos a llamar!

So disappointed with our visit to Fish Shack yesterday!! Looking at previous reviews - albeit too late as I wouldn’t have bothered going- it seems a running theme of frozen, poorly cooked chips which in our case were only just about warm, pale fish that didn’t taste fresh inside, perhaps reheated, all for the princely sum of £27 ( with a glass of wine). I’d advise Lily and her crew to up their game and re-train the staff on both customer service to be less surly to the people who pay their wages, and also cooking ‘fresh’ fish and chips, else they’ll end up closing down. As other reviewers have said, I definitely won’t be returning!

Chips were ok at best but got charged £10:50 for what should have been £7:50! Staff were not interested in checking this when asked but instead just stated that is what it is! Nothing changes with this chippy, still selling below average food at extortionate prices and/or ripping off customers because they cant be bothered to check! I do not recommend this takeaway at all.
