Grim JuT has this delivered and it’s gone straight in the bin !! £20 for food that I wouldn’t feed to a dog !!!! Chips tasted of soap, kebab and chips looked like something the devil spawned !!! How can you not make chips !!!!

Buen pescado y patatas fritas, buen kebab y un gran servicio. Está muy cerca de mi ruta a casa y terminan bastante tarde, por lo que es muy conveniente para un poco de pescado y patatas fritas.

Pedimos 4 X bacalao grande y 1 papas fritas grandes para llevar. Había tanta grasa del pescado frito que se había filtrado a través del papel que envolvía la bolsa de plástico. Luego, la masa se cayó del pescado, ya que estaba muy empapada, al igual que las papas fritas, que se habían vuelto a freír y eran de color marrón oscuro y desagradable. No recomendaría este lugar en absoluto.

compared to the absolute garbage served by the nearby kebab/chicken all night places, these guys are absolutely worth the trip and money. HYuuge portion sizes, fresh fish. This I definitely one you go to only every now and then because the food is as fatty as they come: its oil and mayo for days. The batter isn't the standard poison you could find in a sainsburys freezer section: this is the good stuff, handmade on the day. The fish is flaky and obviously not defrosted. Were the batter fried sausages not as sinfully evil as they sound-you can literally feel the cellulite growing on your thighs while you chew-they'd make the greatest daily meal, along with fresh bread. Bursting with yum. The same bunch of people are always behind the till/at the grill, which is reassuring because its evidence they have a good thing going on. Place is not trendy or pretty or instagrammy whatsoever and I get the creeps waiting for my order, among all the blue collar south asians who openly leer at me no matter how conservatively I'm dressed. Its a testament to the food that I still go, and that everyone else still goes. Location is stellar, adjacent the main bars/club in town, and hence they do a roaring trade over weekends. Very reliable option.

My husband and I have tried the chips from here when after a quick and easy dinner fix and three out of three times the chips were just great. I've tried the fish, too, which was nice and the saveloy, which was ok, but only because of personal taste. We weren't expecting much the first time we stopped here on our way home but we we so impressed by the taste and the quality has been consistent. I don't know why they are so good, it's just chips, but they really do taste better than other chip shops I've been to in recent years. Felt I had to leave a review for them!

I was driving my wife home after a Xmas party it was late night so we decided to stop to buy a takeaway on the first place still open. It was unfortunate this was it! I've asked for a fish and chips only to be answered no fish left... so we've opted for a veggie burger with chips... apart from the workers rudeness (it was nearly 4am so I tend to sympathise!) The waiting was incredibly long and when eventually I was given my burger a mouse came out from the kitchen into the dining room with the staff just standing and watching it. I will definitely report it to the council but really shame on them, the mouse it simply represented how careless they are.
