Screw everyone It's a prime spot overlooking St Michael's Mount, and it's beautiful, however....... As per previous reviews the service is ridiculously slow even though it's now out of season, but my main gripe is having to pay a service charge of 12.5% when a pint of IPA and a pint of cider already cost £12.90, it really is taking the P*** £6.50 for a mainstream pint is enough profit for anyone, you should be ashamed of yourselves

Terrible . Waited 50 minutes for a coke and latte . Asked young girl where are drinks where as others where receiving there's . She just looked and shrugged . We counted 11 other people get up and go due to being fed up waiting before we left . We did go inside to the pub godolphin arms that it's joined to and complained to manager who was very apologetic and sorted us out within minutes . So tip go inside the godolphin arms and eat as crabbys is just awful .

Absolutely awful! Such incredibly slow and quite frankly incompetent service. We were going to eat but changed our minds when it took over half an hour to get our drinks. Some of the younger staff were very pleasant, it’s just a shame a number of others and the management seem to let the place down

We came as a family of 4 adults and 1 child, the menu was incredibly small and very expensive, we decided on the cornish cheese boards (which it stated £16 per person and minimum of 2 people) so we ordered for 4 people, to share 2 boards and were SHOCKED at how small they were for 2 people to share each!! (See photo of one board for 2 people!). I cannot believe they think its ok to charge £64 for some slices of cheese, 10 grapes and a few slices of paper thin bread. We actually called the waitress over and told her we weren’t eating it and were leaving, and honestly she was so sweet, you could tell she understood what we were staying! I will preface this with, we are not cheapskates! We regularly have afternoon tea at Headland Hotel, and Talland Bay, but we know when we being taken the piss out of and this was it!!!!

Sadly, the cake was dry and tasteless. The coffee was meh, and the staff unfriendly. So disappointing, and so expensive for not a good experience.

It took 15 minutes to get a beer. That's not an exaggeration. And it wasn't busy. It's just that they had only 1 guy working behind the bar. Everyone else was serving tables, and by "serving" I mean they spent most of their time standing by idly doing nothing or waiting for their order. You would think the manager who also was busy doing mostly nothing could have chipped in, or trained one of the servers to at least make espresso. Honestly, if you're a teenager looking for a part-time summer job this would be a great gig. Just hang out and socialize with your staff friends. So why did I give it 2 stars instead of 1? Well, my server was pleasant enough. Plus, I'm not heartless!

We went here couple of years ago and had the best experience friendly staff upbeat helpful fantastic food people were queuing at the door it was that popular ! But it’s changed hands it was nearly empty staff were young and looked down as if they knew food was a joke . We had small plates . Waitress said we can have fish of the day (haddock) we though it would be nice but if was just battered fish with mayo sauce .the other plates we ordered came out potatoes in garlick and herbs ! It came out it was just hard roast potatoes .next was broccoli with plums would you believe ! Plums were sour uncooked and left a horrible taste in mouth . Only good thing we had was sourdough bread with balsamic and olive oil dip . They refunded potatoes and poor girl even offered to take service charge off but we felt sorry for her as not there fault WILL NEVER GO BACK UNTILL ITS TAKEN OVER BY SOMEONE THAT CAN COOK SEAFOOD OR DECANT MEALS

It is a pleasant venue in an excellent location. We called in for lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Vintage rock music was apt but loud for mid-day. Some of the cutlery and crockery were dirty. The crab melt paninis were okay but containing little crab so not worth £16. We'll not visit again...

It was a spontaneous visit. The staff were fittingly crabby. The food order was slow to arrive and unappetising. The paper on which it was served had disintegrated into a pulpy mess. The steak was terrible; gristle, cold side of lukewarm, and a nasty taste of paprika and liquid smoke badly masked its origin. Menu said it was BBQ but I highly doubt it had seen a lick of flame. The corn on the cob was a soggy shameful frozen item considering local fields are burgeoning with corn this week. The nachos were supermarket cheap and nasty, with liquid cheese and a few dollops of avocado sin lime and sour cream. Pickled red cabbage replaced the more traditional salsa. At £58 it was punching above its weight. Not sure why the Godolphin, which does excellent food, wants it's name on Craby's? Great views from the terrace though.

Visited here with my disabled father and new born baby. We entered the Goldolphin first. The disabled lift was broken and staff watched as we struggled to get everyone up the stairs before telling us that the food was being served at the beach bar. We then had to struggle again. The staff and establishment are not disabled friendly. The food is very expensive and as others have mentioned the burgers don’t even come with fries. I went to the Goldophin a few years ago and it was excellent, I must say that it has declined. I would not recommend and will never visit again.

After visiting the Godolphin and crabbys on an annual visit every summer, we were so disappointed to taste, tasteless food, which was ridiculously overpriced. What a disaster. Just because they’ve got a nice view, doesn’t mean they should take advantage & charge £18 for an average burger on a red plastic tray which doesn’t even come with fries. I felt very sorry for other people who had ordered, fish fillets at £28 plus with the same accompaniments sorry looking. I seriously hope they will review their menu and the prices. Certainly won’t be eating there again next year 😢

In summary, the establishment currently operating under the name "Craby's" offers substandard cuisine at an exceptionally high cost. It might be prudent for the proprietors to contemplate a rebranding effort, considering a change from "Craby's" to a more fitting name such as "Crapy's." Regrettably, the quality of fare being offered falls far short of expectations, resembling the sort of fare one might anticipate encountering in a budget roadside eatery. This assessment, however, excludes the notable exception of the fries, which, curiously, exhibit a level of excellence not otherwise associated with the establishment. The following points outline the basis for my observations: Over the course of several visits, which were necessitated by particular circumstances, I endeavoured to provide the benefit of doubt, especially given my recent relocation to the area within the last half-year. However, my experiences consistently indicated that the establishment's culinary offerings were consistently underwhelming and concurrently exorbitantly priced. Notably, the establishment boasts a commendable view, and its staff exhibit amiable dispositions, but these attributes are the pinnacle of its commendable features. On my inaugural visit, I encountered an overcooked lobster accompanied by desiccated corn, presented on a crimson plastic tray embellished with blue and white paper. This unsatisfactory offering, which I paid a startling £50+ for, left me dismayed. Moreover, the dye from the paper permeated the lobster, resulting in my consumption of a blue-hued crustacean. In summary, it is inadvisable to order the lobster, as it is evident that the chef lacks the requisite expertise in its preparation. An ancillary point worth noting pertains to the fries, which ostensibly originate from a different kitchen. Unfortunately, the timing of their delivery is haphazard, often preceding the main course, causing patrons to consume them before the arrival of their primary dish. This perplexing and unsatisfactory practice is wholly unacceptable. A subsequent visit entailed an endeavour to enjoy a lamb flatbread. Regrettably, the lamb was noticeably sparse, amounting to a mere two or three strands. Furthermore, the accompanying "potato salad" consisted of unadorned cooked potatoes with scant spring onions, bereft of dressing or mayo. The coleslaw, which one would expect to be properly constituted, was reduced to shredded red cabbage devoid of any dressing or mayo. Both sides were left untouched. During another visit, an order was placed for a burger accompanied by fries and a side of chargrilled peppers. This particular burger, priced at an astonishing £18, proved to be the most unsatisfactory iteration of such a dish I have encountered, regardless of cost. The burger arrived tasteless and cold, leading me to suspect it was sourced from a mass supplier and stored frozen. The cheese topping had not melted due to the burger's chilled state. The accompanying lettuce was limp and meagre, while the tomatoes were curiously disfigured, appearing akin to discarded portions. The burger was presented haphazardly in a torn bun on a red tray, further attesting to the chef's lack of competence. It is evident that the culinary professional responsible possesses minimal knowledge of the most basic meal preparation and cooking techniques. This rendition resembled a burger one might encounter at a modest local fundraising event, where the modest price is partially justified by the charitable cause it supports. In tandem with my experience, my partner ordered a hake and prawn burger, which suffered from similar deficiencies. The burger bore visible signs of mishandling, resembling the aftermath of an encounter with a local feline. The tomatoes presented a similar sorry state, demonstrating a dearth of quality control. The overarching impression gleaned from my encounters with this establishment is that it strives to maximize profits through the utilization of subpar ingredients while charging premium prices. The chef's limited culinary expertise is evident, manifesting in consistently disappointing fare. Notably, even my own daughter, aged six, consistently outperforms the chef's culinary endeavours. The audacity to demand substantial payment for such low-quality cuisine without expecting any repercussions is a naïve assumption. It is important to underscore that the grievances I have detailed are by no means isolated instances. Fellow patrons' expressions of dissatisfaction and disillusionment with their meals are palpable, mirroring my own observations. Recent interactions with other disgruntled diners corroborate these experiences. Just days ago, subsequent to a lacklustre burger experience, I encountered a family at the pub, who were vocalizing their shared sense of outrage over the dismal quality of their meals. Collectively, we agreed that "Crapy's" is no longer a dining destination we would consider. While perhaps suitable for beverages, it pales in comparison to the superior fare and pricing found at the Kings Arms pub or the Cutty Sark. In summation, the consensus is clear: "Crapy's" has lost our patronage indefinitely.

I have wanted to go in here each time we have visited Marazion and was excited to sit down on a sunny afternoon and finally order drinks and food. I was so disappointed. I hate giving poor reviews but this is selling its self as a high end establishment and as though the bbq food is going to be something special. Although the service was friendly…food was not good and the wrong food came out for my partner, which was fine but when the lady came back with the right food she gushed about giving us extra sides to make up for it…but didn’t bring the original side he asked for. I had a tiny prawn and hake burger…the burger bun was so dry and crumbled as I ate it. Nachos turned up with pulled chicken…not pulled pork and was freezing…straight out of the fridge. The lady offered to warm it up but our son said to leave it. Lamb and mint burger was undercooked and the fries we ordered came about 15 minutes before our other food which we were told was because they came from another kitchen…anyway they brought us more fries after I mentioned it. What a shame. We left another pub nearby to come here because the menu didn’t look exciting. Really wish this place had lived up to my expectations

On arrival we was seated in a prime spot with lovely views but that’s about as good as it got! We were told if tech savvy you can scan the bar code to order or go inside. I started to use the online order but had no option to edit food for a plain burger for my autistic son. So we went inside. I spoke to a very unhelpful staff member who was sarcastic. I explained I wanted to order two plain burger with nothing on he said he’d write a message for kitchen staff. We wasn’t told the £18 burgers didn’t come with chips, just offered a side (which didn’t include chips) so never thought to check. After finally finishing our order of 5 meals and drinks for just over £120. We went and sat back outside and carried our own drinks out. Despite lots of staff milling around! After 25 mins our food arrived and the two burgers were not plain at all so returned to kitchen. The rest of us got our very expensive not great food and began to eat. We finished eating and waited a further 20 mins for the burgers to appear by this time kids fed up and son about to have a meltdown. We spoke to a lovely lady eventually who came to ask if every was ok. She did apologise and gave us a refund on two burgers, which was good customer service. But I would not return or recommend far too over priced for not great food nothing special to say it’s in a prime spots

Having eaten at the Godolphin numerous times and had great meals, we stumbled across Crabbys after a short morning walk along the beach. Ordered two bacon baps and two cappuccinos. The baps came in about 5 minutes and were probably up there with the worst bacon roll I've ever eaten... Pre-cooked bacon which felt like it was cooked days ago and served almost cold in a basic flour bap. At £6 a bap, can't some bacon be cooked off on the fly?! The two Cappuccinos followed about 20 minutes later. Waitress seemed to be on her own looking after the whole terrace which was quite busy. Crabbys has a prime beach front location and could be lovely if it was a bit more thought out.. Shame

Vegetable curry was tasteless, served in a cardboard bowl. No sauce, little content & bland. Halloumi burger had little halloumi in it. Chips were fine.
