Used to order from here all the time, but it was going downhill.thought I'd give it 1 last chance, but food was still awful doner meat was like cardboard,n very dry.chicken just had terrible taste not edible.and garlic mayo n chilli sauce went straight in bin.chilli was like water n garlic sauce had such a peculiar taste.everything basically ended up in the bin apart from the chips.waste of money

Ordered via just eats and waited 1 hr 10 mins which is what was predicted. Meals arrived, opened same and one main course was missing. Rang the take away constantly for 20 mins but no response. One of us had no meal so thanks very much. If you run a take away you need to answer the phone, not impressed and won’t be using you ever again.

Visited this place for a late lunch and wished I hadn't. What a let down and embarassment to tourism in the Loch Lomond area. Problem starts at the entrance, no one to greet or offer seating, two young lads at the bar who made no effort at welcoming. Ordered diluting orange - none avaialable, no mashed potatoes for the haggis, oh, you can have frozen chips instead. Nearly £18 for fish and chips - again, frozen variety. Young server spilled the hot chocolate my grandson ordered and just shrugged his shoulders instead of sorting it out. Tables sticky and steps leading up to the gents toilet, crying out for a clean and fresh paint. For an establishment such as this in a prime location, should be a quality place to visit. Surely, the owner or manager can see what's required. Will be a long time before I visit again - if ever.

Soggy fish from the hot cupboard, dried out battered sausage (again from the cupboard) and lukewarm chips from a chip dump that was far too full for the number of people in. Pretty poor. Best fish n chips in Scotland? Isn't even the best in Stranraer. Will avoid from now on.

What a terrible mistake I made getting a takeaway from here. Was staying down the road at camber sands and ordered 2 kids meals, fish and chips. It was really poor. The mushy peas and gravy were removed from a coffee cup in the fridge and chucked in a microwave. Tasted horrific. Never again.

Family day out, kids in the park and fancied fish&chips but told cash only, lots of posters to say cash is king etc- yet the cash point in their charges me to withdraw? How is that fair? They said its nothing to do with them but shops are paid to have a machine- if cash is so important Atleast opt for a free cash machine. Everyone left disappointed but I refuse to pay for cash and not practical to walk up to co-op with kids so we went elsewhere.

It was such a nice day and the sun was shining so decided to take a drive to Southport for a Fish and Chip lunch, as so often before we decided to lunch in the Embassy Fish & Chip Restaurant in Nevill Street. We ordered two senior fish and chip meals at £6.50 each from the menu - we waited over 30 minutes for it to arrive at the table - Chips & Peas OK but the fish was just a small slither of fish covered in very crispy and non edible batterer. The meal also included bread and butter which I had to ask for from the counter staff, I would certainly not recommend this restaurant to anybody, we will never return it was so bad.
