Honestly fine. Not giving 5 stars because only cash is a pain. But the food is great, chips are firm, fish has been lovely the last few times we've been, enjoyed a sausage last week. What more do you want lol Esepcially enjoyable after a pint at the oak. Loved it

Thought we’d give it another try as the first time not that great,bad mistake if anything worse batter soggy underneath and fish never seems that fresh

We haven’t been in for ages even though we live very nearby. Tonight we just fancied fish and chips so went round and hey presto, just as good as it always was. No question- good fish, good chips great service. We’ ll be back again, of course

Stopped here for two large chips, cod bites and some battered sausages. Cod bites and sausages were OK, chips not so. May be an off day. Won't be back in a hurry.

Had fish and chips from there yesterday. Nice pieces of fish....chips not so good, still using old potatoes with eyes in them. Thought that the portion sizes were very small. Also, still no credit card facility, just dirty oldcash 😳😳

Este lugar estaba a unos 10 minutos en coche del parque de caravanas Cherry Tree, así que optamos por aquí para nuestra cena para llevar.Sistema de colas y pedidos bien organizado. Mucho personal para completar los pedidos, incluidos los en línea. La comida estaba buena y caliente. Porciones de buen tamaño. Pensé que la caja de los niños estaba demasiado cara para lo que tienes (¡a eso lo llamas juguete!).

Very disappointed getting my tiny cod today. Will not be going here again. Much better fish and chips close by.

This is my regular fish and chip shop and I’ve never been disappointed. Although it’s popular it never takes long to get served. The chips are never greasy and the fish is excellent. Pleasant service and easy parking on site. Recommended.

Muchas veces han pegado esta tienda. . . Paré el sábado por primera vez. . . . excelente solla y patatas fritas! . . . . Uno de los mejores para llevar pescado y patatas fritas que hemos tenido! . . . . Recomiendo encarecidamente, tienda limpia, recién frito y dos o tres mesas / sillas afuera. . . . ¡Ojalá nos hubiéramos detenido unos años antes! Gracias

Hemos tenido pescado y papas fritas de Poringland Fish Inn desde hace muchos años y siempre hemos estado satisfechos con el servicio y la calidad de la comida. La masa de pescado siempre está crujiente y las papas fritas están bien fritas. Los tamaños de las porciones tienen una buena relación calidad-precio (a menos que sea codicioso y tenga sobrepeso). Los miembros del personal son siempre educados y amables, ¡gracias!

Mi novio, mi hijo y yo hemos comido aquí en 4 a 5 ocasiones desde que me mudé a la zona recientemente.Nunca nos hemos decepcionado!El personal siempre es amable, está limpio, la comida tiene un precio muy razonable y siempre es de buena calidad.Mi novio en particular ama el bacalao de bacalao.Volveremos sin duda!

Compré dos porciones para mí y mi tía anciana hoy a las 12. 40. Pensé que estarían recién cocinados un viernes en este momento, pero las patatas fritas no eran comestibles, nunca he tenido patatas fritas de la tienda de pescado tan insípidas y secas, las gallinas las disfrutaron, el pescado estaba bien pero no tanto. No volveré a visitar esta tienda

Muy buenas bolsas y envoltorios, lástima de las patatas poco cocidas, eran simplemente grasosas, viscosas y sabían tan desagradable como parecían. El pescado estaba bien, pero el rebozo no era bueno, solo los comimos porque estábamos muy hambrientos.Muy caro para comida de segunda categoría.Evitar.

Mi compañero y yo visitamos este lugar ya que estábamos de vacaciones en Cherry Tree y nos pareció fish n chips. Pagamos casi 15 por 1 pescado y patatas fritas pequeñas y 1 pescado grande y patatas fritas que pensamos que era caro, el pescado no sabía nada bien, era más grasoso que cualquier otra cosa y el pescado de mi compañero tenía huesos pequeños, así que era un despilfarro de dinero y para rematar tuvimos dihoreah por el resto de la semana después de comer aquí, así que lo evitaría a toda costa.

Good portion for each of us. Garlic mushrooms with chips is recommended to try out. You can always find some good local fish to select in the chip shop. Thanks.

He visitado este fish and chips varias veces, y cada vez que vamos. . Nos preguntamos por qué. en la tierra no vamos de nuevo!Masa es pasada, patatas fritas y los tamaños son parte floja son tacaños.Las porciones de pescado como el pescado ha sido cortado por la mitad. . Best fish and chip shop in the area. Lovely light batter to the fish, good mushy peas, great chips & even the curry sauce if you're that way inclined 😏

I've visited the fish Inn on many occasions and each time the quality and service are top notch. My only bug bear is the portion to price ratio. You can eat similar quality fish and chips elsewhere and feel full but not with an empty pocket, but alas here there is a trade off to be made. I would still visit here again, but the value for money prevents it from being a regular treat. Don't get me wrong, it is very popular with the locals, especially on a Saturday teatime, and if you're passing Poringland on the way back to Norwich, it is probably the best Chippie south of the city.

great food well cooked, you pay for a good meal and get it well recommended, this is our local in poringland but is worth coming to friendly good staff

Battered burger was soggy and greasy large chips was like a kids size in other chip shops. Avoid dont waste your money I now go to stoke great value worth the extra travel

Called in on our way home from holiday. Very poor quality food compared to other chippies in the area. Won't go back.

I have to say this chip shop is such a disappointment. The fryer who is there every day so I assume is the owner is the most miserable man on earth. The chip portions are so small it is a joke, especially when I found out I was being charged for large! The food is served in polystyrene which takes hundreds of years to rot. What is wrong with paper? And the food is really expensive. The good bits are that all the food is ready to go, so no waiting for it to be fried and the ladies on the counter are nice. But I live in Poringland and drive to Stoke Holy Cross instead.
