The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

Lo siento, pero mi primera y última vez. Fish & Chips apenas está bien, pero caro, mala actitud del personal y no es acogedor, y una debacle en el aparcamiento teniendo que entrar en su registro solo para pedir una bolsa de patatas fritas. ¡No para mí, gracias!

My wife and I were invited out to lunch at the Sandbanks Hotel in Poole yesterday. The main restaurant was closed so we three seated ourselves in the outside snack bar area. There was not a great choice but the food was said to be Italian and run by Italians, and having been to that country expected to be served a good standard of food. This was absolutely not the case. We ordered two box salads - one chicken and chorizo and the other a smoked salmon nicoise, and also a pizza. The two salad boxes were about 150mm square and contained mostly lettuce and tomato - the lady who had the chicken said the chicken pieces were so small she could hardly see them. I had the pizza, and because I was hungry I did try to eat it - but had to leave about half. I would compare it to an inferior supermarkey pizza. I have had pizzas in Naples at a quarter the price and they have been far superior. Added to the food were a J2o orange, a 250ml glass of wine and one beer. The total cost £62.00! We left still hungry and went to an Italian restaurant in Westbourne a couple of hours later, and for about the same price we had seafood risotto, sirloin steak and sea bass in a champagne sauce along with the same drinks. It does not take an expert in Maths to work out who is giving value for money! A complaint was made at the time, and to be fair both the kitchen and the hotel manager offered a refund - which was declined, as the point of the complaint was not to get money back but to highlight what was thought to be an unacceptable situation. The place looks lovely with great views over the beach and sea, but it is an "eatery" not a viewing platform. We obviously would never lunch there again - but we all felt that they are serving inferior food at inflated prices. It is a shame as it denegrates the overall reputation of this Hotel. If you charge top prices you should serve top quality food.

Really really small portions of chips, a large is not enough enough for one person, queried it and told that’s how many the owner say to give 😱

Apart from being extremely expensive, the food was appalling. £16.50 for a battered cod that was absolutely disgusting. Batter over cooked on the outside but not cooked in the middle. The fish appeared to be a mush rather than a fillet. Don’t waste your money

I was pleasantly surprised that my cod and chips was very tasty and good value! For context, I was a bit concerned, having read other reviews. My wife and I were on a weekend break and we wanted fish and chips for tea. We found the nearest highly recommended shop was closed, so went to the Tropic instead. The two people in the shop were very friendly. I'd certainly go back there for fish and chips. Can't comment on other food options, having not tried them there.

Easily the worst fish I have experienced. God only knows what they Did to it????? They managed to turn fish into a consistency I can describe as a dehydrated mulch. They should apply for worst fish and chips in the uk. They could well win it and it may drum up some curiosity trade. AWFUL is an understatement. Oh almost forgot the young girl who served us was lovely.

We had our order delivered on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 We had just returned from our Holiday We've had several orders from Cods Scallop Harborne and always had decent Food normally Cod, Chips snd Mushy Peas Tonight's meal was disappointing because it looked like the Fhips had been reheated and a lot of them were inedible. The Fish however was as good as ever really tasty but let down by the Chips The Cods Scallop stands and falls by the Stanard of its food and its expensive but you don't mind that if the Food was at a Exceptional Stanard but sadly this time let down by the quality of the Chips

Han sido CUATRO veces. Dos ocasiones fueron geniales. En los otros dos, A PESAR de tener una reserva, aparecimos para encontrar el lugar CERRADO. Llegó este sábado a las 7 pm en punto, para nuestra comida de aniversario RESERVADA, para encontrar el lugar cerrado. Llamé al número de la puerta y no hubo respuesta. Llamé repetidamente durante la noche y no hubo respuesta. Hemos estado en tres ocasiones anteriores, y en dos tuvimos una comida encantadora, pero en la otra, lo mismo: NADIE. Me rindo. Parece que solo puede molestarse en aparecer si tiene muchas reservas, y no te llama para decirte que no puede molestarse en abrir para tu comida reservada. Dos de cada 4 no es suficiente. No volveremos a ir allí. No es así como trata a sus clientes cuando han reservado previamente. . Vergonzoso.

Our go to for gluten free fish and chips in Penrith. Even close to closing time service with a smile and the gluten free option - gf cod - cooked to order. The new Cumberland sausages are also very good. If we leave any mushy peas, Milo our Labrador loves to finish them up for us. Thank you for providing great gluten free options 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The delivery arrived for 4 people and yet again they didnt deliver all the food . Why cant you just get it right . Its no good saying we can have a voucher for the missing food … whenever we use Justeat there seems to be an issue with the delivery ..Tom Bell Court Road is now just another place i wont ve using

The worst chips I have ever tasted! They were dripping in grease but thankfully the portions were very small so didn’t have to throw too much in the bin! Absolutely disgusting and expensive too. Don’t even bother going here the food is horrible, overpriced and dripping grease.

Yum .. unplanned visit to this lovely traditional fish and chip shop .. , delicious fish and chips , white flakes of cod wrapped in tasty crispy batter .. great chips too !Can’t wait to return
