Fancied some chips on the way to the hotel so stopped here. Good prices and good food. Large bag of chips was more like a regular. Quick service, friendly enough

I went there and ordered a takeaway. The chips were decent and the chicken burger did taste good however i paid 20p extra for cheese and i never got the cheese in it.

Firstly staff member serving was rude, needs to learn some customer skills and manners, wrong food given, then he argued that's what I ordered, did change it eventually, food was so greasy, and £2 for a can of coke blimey, really not good and won't be going again, plenty of better places to go in Blackpool.

DO NOT GO HERE. Ordered a burger and chips. Everything tasted sour. Didn’t taste right at all. Chips looked and tasted at least a week old. Can’t believe they are allowed to serve food like this. I hardly ever review things but this is appalling.

We came here on Saturday, paid for our food and left without even collecting it. They were serving food with bare hands - hands straight into the warmers and food literally dumped into trays. Touching raw meat, salad and cooked foods with no handwashing in between. One man scratched inside his belly button and continued shovelling food into the trays. One of the ladies came after us outside with the food and I told her exactly what I thought and in front of other people queuing who then also left. Disgusting, and never again

Wow we're do I start. For one we paid £23 for 2 fish and chips and peas and a kids sausage and curry. The chips was horrible and frozen chips. The fish was not good enough for a dog. The seguls ate it. And the mushy peas was done in a microwave. So very very dry. I wouldn't visit there again ever. If you like slop then this is great for you. But I wouldn't advise you going. The cashier and cook were both very warm and welcoming. The food was made fresh for us despite there being cooked fish on display. The sauces, vinegar and salt were all lovely and completely free of charge. As a nice touch the cashier brought out some free tartar sauce sachets and black pepper that we could also use. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who loves fresh and tasty fish and chips

Food is absolutely DISGUSTING, UNDERCOOKED and the OIL HASN'T BEEN CHANGED FOR MONTHS, my friend got a bad INDIGESTION. Staff are so RUDE (and ugly), they INSULTED US in a foreign language. Don't go there it's absolutely TERRIBLE.

Had sh*ts rest of day. Ruined day out, especially for kids. Couldn’t understand why daddy couldn’t go on Pepsi max with them. For entire 4 hours we were at pleasure beach, I spent at least two hours on bog. I only get to see them once a month. Damper on entire day and the food is 100% at fault.

Expensive, I think the fish must be frozen as all exactly same shape and completely tasteless. Batter was pale and undercooked and had a very odd taste. Chips dry and awful. Stopped here for chips this weekend. 3 or 4 guys just hanging about talking very loudly to about 4 guys behind the counter, blocking the way for proper customers to make their order. Very unprofessional and rather off-putting. Took ages for the server to notice I was there. However, the chips were OK and hot. Expensive even for Blackpool Promenade. Maybe training in how to run a professional business and treat customers properly is required? Just a thought.

The best cooked sole, haddock or cod this side of the ocean. Great value and generous serves with all the sides you might want. Go for it.

They say “you can always tell a good chippy because it always busy”. This one is not.Chips are anaemic an fairly tasteless. The fish (described as “fish” on them menu as apposed to cod, haddock, pollock etc) is very strong tasting and has an odd colour. Quit dark. This is the usual calling card of Vietnamese river fish, sold frozen as “white fish” in most wholesalers.As many have said, it is VERY expensive. I’m sure this is down to the excellent location on the seafront. Hence the score of ‘2’ instead of ‘1’. A plastic bottle of water is a whopping £1.50. That’s a gross profit of 91.67%. Impressive.Feel free to visit if dying of starvation.

The fish was reasonable but the chips were the worst I have ever tasted not only were they lukewarm they tasted horrible. On a plus note the fish shop was clean and the server friendly. I’m afraid I wouldn’t return.

Too often the seafront chippies are bit....meh... They don't rely on regular custom and are there for a quick buck sometomes changing hands from season to season.... This was better than average, tasty and well cooked and a decent value

Went here last week for a chip butty at around 10pm this week. We didn't wait long, the chap who served us was pleasant enough and even asked if we wanted butter on the breadcake. The chips were hot and tasted good. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside at the table provided. The prices were right so we were happy all around.

You'll be lucky to taste the cheese from you'r cheese burger. The sauce was so moist it dripped over the counter before it reached me. What was left was about as much as my old man could nut out.

Great fish & chips made just for you. I like the fact that they only cook your fish to order, so know standing around soaking up the fat like in most fish & chip shops. There were a family of four of us, and in no time at all the fish was done. The batter seemed so light and tasty, a great meal. We then ran across the road and sat on the wall an ate them. If it's a nice day there's nothing better.

This was the only fish and chip shop we found that did not have hundreds of cigarette ends outside the door and no grease smears. We were amazed to find that the plastic forks that other chip shops charge for were free and free ketchup too. Unusual to find in this day and age. The fish were enormous and the whole shop smelled clean. We had visited other chip shops in Blackpool but they all smelled of greasy burgers and stale food so we chose this one. The price was a little cheaper than the others and we sat and ate on the newly refurbished promenade.

We dashed into here out of the rain, and we wished we'd put up with the rain a little longer, to be honest.The chap doing the cooking was lovely and friendly, and very helpful. The food, however, was dreadful. The chips had little black bits all over them (and we're hoping they were from over-cooked food in the oil and nothing else). The fish was okay, but that's all.

This as got to be the worst fish & chip shop in England. We only got a portion of chips out of here, they was made with green potatoes, smelt vile, took one bite and chucked them straight in the bin. Please take notice of this reveiw, save your money. DO NOT EAT IN THIS PLACE!!!!

For just a bag of chips this chipshop is acceptable – but only just. My son got a sausage which we took one bite of and then disposed of - It was almost grey and absolutely disgusting. Although the fish was cooked well, the batter was disgusting and gave both myself and my wife chronic indigestion – add to that the almost chaotic service and the high prices I can only assume this chipshop does not survive on repeat custom! – I survived – some may not be so lucky! Got into the restaurant and the shot attendant changed £5.70 for fish and chips + £2.50 then tried to give change of .70p. Now the food please please avoid this place the food is cold saggy and taste horrible. A waste of money to be honest. Yuk

I was staying in Blackpool and had been walking for a while so I decided to go get some chips and sit by the sea to eat them so I came across the fish and chips shop called the beach located by north pier not far from the tower and on there door it has a 5 star rating so I got my chips when by the sea took one bite of a chip they were horrible most disgusting chips I have ever tasted so I feed the rest to the birds I wouldn't recommend to get chips from there at all if your looking for nice chips go across the road on the side of the north pier entrance and you will see a chippy there the chips are lovely there but also don't go to the one called kebab at the north pier horrible they use frozen chips that aren't cooked properly and you wait ages and sometimes people have been told they have run out of chips yes you read right a chippy running out of chips

Someone with us ordered and had to wait ages, then remind him they were waiting. The guy here microwaved my pie!!I asked him if he had a steamer for the pies and he said no! He said we microwave all of the pies!!Not only did they microwave the pie but they microwaved it in the polystyrene container. This is probably (might be) pretty bad for ones health. Basically a laaaaaaame place to eat and best avoided at all cost.

I can remember going to Blackpool years ago and walking along the front eating a poke of chips so I did it again this weekend. I was so gutted to see the server take a handful of frozen chips from the freezer and throw them into the fryer. Frozen chips !!!! just can't tell you how disappointed i was ;-(
