Attitude was awful. Not manors or customer service skills when speaking. A fish and chip shop that has zero fish in. Only what is on display which looked like to me you have just tidy-up for the night and couldn't be bothered to cook anything else. Also how you spoke and delivered the message was very poor and no empathy. It is what it is mentally. Don't worry, I won't be coming back again and will choose from the competition on the beach front.

Worst fish shop ever! Beach front, ideal location, let down by dry over battered fish! Avoid at all costs!

Admittedly a cheap price, at £6.95 each for fish and chips. However, the chips were definitely frozen (I saw the operator open a bag) and the fish had obviously been sitting in the warmer for far too long, so sadly was dry and unpleasant, with hard batter and a generally unpleasant taste . Considering this is a seaside resort, the food was extremely disappointing. Definitely not recommended.

Omg!! The greatest fish and chips you will find in Blackpool, near central pier and coral island, great menu, great food, great prices and even a bucket of chips for kids with an actual bucket and spade to go and play on the beach with, I have had lots of fish and chips in Blackpool and this is by far the best, my daughter had fish bites, my son chips and gravy with sausage, all amazing, unfortunately the seagulls went hungry that day!!!

It was nice & not badly priced either. We visited on Sunday (12th July about 12:30pm) & even though there was a bit a of queue forming, the guy on his own was still so polite & friendly despite been rushed off his feet.

Unfortunately never had the delight to sample the food, we left as we were ordering. The horrible woman behind the counter decided to have a pop at us because my 11 year daughter opened up her box from another establishment (she was not eating it). She was so rude. Customer service non existent. It's a shame as the other sister Prom chippy were really helpful. Do not visit!!!!

Lovely chip shop just underneath the Tower. The service was very good from Jay who was really helpful and polite. There was a short wait however when we got the fish and chips we enjoyed them very much as the fish was freshly cooked. The fish was a good size and tasty and the chips were well made. Would definitely recommend :-)

We visited Blackpool in October as part of a weekend break to the town, this was our second visit to the area and we had specifically came on this occasion to see the famous ‘Blackpool Illuminations’. We had travelled to Blackpool by train and was staying in a local B&B however we did notice that there is plentiful (pay and display) car parking and the area is also served by public busses and of course the tram network. We used the Prom Chippy on the Saturday night of our visit having just visited the Tower Circus because we were looking for a traditional meal of fish and chips to eat on Blackpool Beach. The Prom Chippy, does a takeaway service for hot food and we both chose a portion of cod & chips and a cup of tea. At the time of our visit, (about 17:45 on a Saturday evening), the promenade was beginning to get busy with trippers come to see the illuminations and there was already a queue of about 20 people waiting to place orders. The people serving were working their way through the queues in a fairly efficient manner and our wait was not too long. We noticed that orders were coming out as various dishes became available rather than in a strict rotation (i.e. the family after us received their single portion of cod & chips before our two, enabling their complete order to be served). When we received our meal, it was served in a cardboard box and was freshly cooked and the tea in a cup complete with tea bag. We moved across the promenade to the beach to eat it. A nice piece of fish in a crispy batter and the chips were also hot and tasty, the portion size was good, not too large but enough to satisfy most appetites. Let’s be honest, this is not fine dining by any means, but we both enjoy fish and chips at the seaside and sitting on the steps of the promenade looking out to sea with the illuminations behind us was exactly what we had set out to do. Would certainly use the Prom Chippy again for another meal like this if we were to revisit Blackpool.

After spending just under two hours sight seeing we decided to get some chips to enjoy whilst on the promenade. There is so much choice in Blackpool pretty sure we chose the worst one possible. There was no one in the queue, one woman serving. Didn't greet me with hello or can I take your order it was simply "yeah" i ordered 5 portions of chips paid a silly amount of money for the tiniest portions of anemic chips without the server saying a word! The whole time I was stood there she scowled at me, sighing and almost stropping like my 9 year old daughter does at times! Manners cost nothing, but that said I will say the amount of people we encountered during our brief time here was probably the reason she looked like she did! We didn't eat many chips and decided to join everyone else on the prom by feeding a few seagulls even they refused the chips! Avoid

We didn't have to queue very long , although there was only one member of staff. The prices were good. The portion sizes were big. Just watch that the fish is cooked though. We had one piece which wasn't but wasn't going to queue again to get it sorted. The rest was extremely tasty.

It's a tradition to eat fish and chips while walking along Blackpool seafront , there are lots of places to choose from we came across the prom choppy and decided to buy ours there , the chips were lovely and tasty and not to greasy , the fish was also fresh and tasty my only negative is that the batter was a little pale and not that crispy , prepare to Que as this place gets really busy , at £5:75 for cod and chips this is roughly the same price as most of the other fish and chip shops in the area

Went in here as it was the closest fish and chip cafe to us and it we wanted to get the kids dinner and out of the rain. The food was awful, chips were hard but edible, however fish was slimy wet and definitely not fish shop fish, the curry sauce was the only nice part of the meal. None of us finished our meal.

Great seafront location but that’s where the good points end!!!. Too eager staff make you panic buy without thoroughly checking menu. Food rush cooked and tasteless. Sauces not readily available. Don’t show you card reader so you can’t see what your actually paying until bank manager calls!!!!!

We decided to visit yesterday after a family day trip to Lytham for a birthday, having been here a few times in previous years we were really looking forward to it. We had pre-booked a table for 7pm and arrived at exactly that time. Upon arriving we had a 10 minute wait before being given our table, which was not a problem, our order was then quickly taken. This is where everything went downhill. We had to wait a full hour before we received our food, and then had to chase all the drinks. One of which was a Budweiser but only upon chasing was I told they had none left and the only other option was a can of Carling, I declined and settled for a soft drink. The party member whose birthday this meal was for didn’t receive their food, and no apology was given. The fish were awful, grossly undercooked with raw batter. The pie bases were extremely soggy, presumably as a result of being microwaved. The entire service was like something out of Fawlty Towers it was so shockingly bad. Nothing was said by our party before leaving, the evening had been soured enough already without us adding to the negativity, so we paid our bill and left. We won’t be returning in the future.
