C Fresh in Blackpool

Been coming here years, even though it's changed hands, many staff are still there. The quality is still as good as it's always been and the service exemplary. Very busy last night, but a room full of very happy diners. Top class!

Visited here 30 October for Fish and Chips and Curry Sauce. Was served in the take away by a very friendly, efficient and comical young dark haired man. Our purchases were absolutely delicious and served hot. All meals are cooked to order. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I would definately recomend and return. Many Thanks

Piping hot and delicious 😋, the fish and chips are perfect , fresh and the batter is as light as a feather. Spotlessly clean and noticed the staff wash their hands after every task ( sorry it's my work head) Staff were polite and so helpful . Thank you 😊 you made my day . Very delicious food and reasonably priced when I went it was very quiet and we got our food in about 20 mins will consider going again next time I am back in Blackpool!

Out of all the fish and chip shop/restaurants in Blackpool, this is the one we always return to. We had large fish specials yesterday which includes a side of mushy peas or curry or gravy, bread and butter and a drink for £12.50 each. The fish and chips were freshly cooked and delicious as always. We'll definitely be back again soon!

The food was amazing and so fresh definitely would recommend to others best chippy in Blackpool. The food was nicely served and staff were very welcoming and friendly 👍

Order large fish and chips for £11.50. I can justify the price however Unlike the name of the establishment the fish was not fresh, and chips were barely warm which was disappointing. the batter was alright but greasy if that’s your thing. Overall The meal was just about edible but would not recommended. Bentley Fish and Chips are nearby with similar price and far better , especially when it comes to freshness and portion size

You can eat fine fish and chips and jumbo sausage here. Unfortunately, the way to the toilets is a bit difficult.

Second time now we’ve gone out of our way to travel to C fresh and it’s been closed or closing. Why advertise 9pm if you close at 7.. on a Saturday too

This chip shop is amazing, probably the best in Blackpool. Fish is superb and chips melt in your mouth. When we visit Blackpool this is always our go to fish n chip shop.

There was a young lad working there he's a horror buff ie loves horror movies he was fantastic he chatted to us my autistic daughter said he was more than ***** the only down side is the toilets was down stairs and unfortunately I'm disabled and got stuck half way down but managed to get back up the young worker was very concerned making sure I was fine and checked I was ok with I am very grateful but 100% were going back ❤️

I’ve been going here for several years since my favourite place closed down, and it just gets better and better, the fish and chips meal was delicious as usual, the service was the most rapid I think I have had, cooked fresh, and the staff were great… it might be hidden down a side street but it’s worth hunting it down ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cheap and cheerful, food is what you expect for the price, clean toilets but steep stairs for access, not wheelchair accessible.

Staff bit crazy but I suppose they ha e to be to work like that. Was very very very busy but they managed.

Lovely freshly fried battered fish at a very reasonable price. Polite, chatty staff who were very welcoming in a busy environment. Just set off the Blackpool promenade at 'Foxhall' part of town so easy to miss but well worth searching out.

Shocking food really ordered fish an chips large got the smallest fish which was mainly batter shocking place really never again .

With so many options to eat at in Blackpool we didn't know where to go. We were sat by central pier and could see C Fresh, had a look at the Google reviews and they were good so that's where we headed. Very glad we did, the food was lovely and the service was fast also. The chips were the best 'Chip shop' chips I've had. It was nice and clean in there and the toilets were clean too. Will deffo go back there should we go back to Blackpool in the future. Thank you.

Used to be absolutely lovely but since it's changed ownership quite frankly all the food tastes as if it's been cooked in really dirty oil and has an appalling aftertaste

After a long day walking the family needed a nice bite to eat. We saw the chip shop and it looked good. We sat in and had good service, from the Blackley kid 🤣, food was really tasty and all the family enjoyed the food and atmosphere, as it was off the front so not overly busy.

Little fish and chip shop just off main road in Blackpool. Wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised food was cooked well and the service was great. Staff were fast, very helpful and polite.

We have been going here for years when we've visited Blackpool. Went today and found out its been taken over by new management and it shows. Service was ok, glasses used to be served with cans to drink. It just felt different. Chips looked like they were reheated in my opinion. It was always busy when we went in but no one was in when we arrived. Shame really.

Definitely one of the better ones. On our 5day trip we've eaten there 3 times. Chips are beautiful, fish crispy on the outside but not greasy on the inside. South fried chicken was really good. Staff was lovely. If we ever come to Blackpool again it's definitely on a list of places to go to

Went here for lunch, the staff was very friendly , we brought our dog which they was very accommodating for and brought her a bowl of water and some dog biscuits. The food was really nice too! Will be visiting again.

Love this place, we come by train every year just to have fish and chips here. Was concerned when we saw it had new owners but was just as good, with some of the lovely original staff. I recommend it to everyone l know 😀

It was just ok. Reasonably priced, but could do with a makeover. Chose the place as its much quieter than the other fish and chips restaurants. Portions are on the small side. Wouldn't order the spring rolls they had zero filling just fried pastry.

Used to go to this chip shop when it was called the ketch inane years ago. Food is lovely and reasonably priced some of the staff could do with being a bit friendlier as the young lad who served us had a face like a wet weekend and was very forth coming. Also my partner wanted a breakfast and he said we dont do breakfasts and made a point of looking at the clock when the menu doesn't state what time they serve the breakfasts till. Also asked for a large fish and chip special and when it came it looked more like a small dinner Maybe wouldn't go here again for a while

Paid 3.10 for a large chips. The girl gave me approximately 20 chips. It's a complete scandal. What a rip off. This place should be trying to keep local trade not driving it away. Avoid!

Really tasty food and quick service. But shame at for just shy of £7 you only get a small sausage, one egg and a handful of chips. Portion sizes don't match up to the price, especially considering my child's meal portion was bigger than mine. Last time we visited (last year), I left a 5 star review but I'd say it's definitely dropped down a little bit. More for your money last year.

Took a trip to Blackpool and our daughter wanted fish n chips for her tea. Was looked after by the staff in double quick time sorted the tables out for us and took our order. We all had fish n chips and we were not disappointed. Well cooked chips not soggy at all and very crisp batter on the fish. Not greasy at all. Couldn't fault it. Thought it was reasonably priced too. 👍 If you are eating outside in the sun (especially with Young Children) the pub next-door tends to have a few people outside. Language and comments can be a little, loud and near the knuckle. Nothing wrong with the food & price. It's a great chippy. Dog friendly too.

It's ok but if you want a man size portion go to mother Hubbards

The staff is amazing and friendly. We appreciate the free hot chocolate. Our meal was delivered so fast that we barely waited.

Amazing staff , probably one of the best chip shops in blackpool staff are so friendly and once you have finished your food here you may have an extra bowl of chips at a fair portion and I can also safely say their dog friendly aswell as I went in there with my dog and the young gentleman at the till had gave my dog a big bowl of water and two gravy sticks and the customer service I can safely say I'm satisfied with from my prospective I don't think they could have been any better they Evan have a bell on the counter so your guaranteed not going to be waiting to be served for long my experience here was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you for letting me eat here Cfresh DEFINITELY WORTH A

We went here on Boxing Day. Lovely friendly people, great quality fresh food, and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Awful service. Went in at 6pm didnt shut until 7. Had no welcome, sat down went to order on the app via the code, got the checkout ("this restaurant isnt currently taking orders".). Okay so we went up to the desk, stood there for 10 minutes without anyone interacting, waitress looked straight at us and so did one of the staff behind the counter but still no response. Totally ignore the entire time. Eventually we walked out and went else where. Worst service ive had in a long time.

We went here on our first day in blackpool didn't have a problem food was good staff was kind untill we went in there on Saturday were we walked in and one the staffs was really rude too us he told us to sit at a table we wait for him too clear it then we sat down he suddenly started being rude too me and my sister said just sit down when u won't when he already cleared and wiped down the tables

Lovely this place always call in here every time am in Blackpool.... little moan some of the staff are a bit fast to snap and not think easy to lose customers with that sort of manner but a,... still a good place for the family to eat

I travel to blackpool throughout the year. I have eaten here before without incident. However on this occasion I called in to get fish and chips to eat on the way home. The chippy wasn't too busy and I got the vibe they wanted people to stop calling in so that they could close. They were mostly miserable and a little frustrated. I ordered haddock and was quite surprised how quick it took to cook 'fresh'. It was too hot to eat immediately so started eating it around 10mins into my journey home. The fish was off. Tasted dreadful and the chips were dry and limp. Was too far away to turn around so put it down to a bad experience. There are so many chippys in Blackpool you Need to try harder if you want returning customers

Year after year we keep coming back to C Fresh, Blackpool. I have Haddock and chips. The fish is consistently good. The staff are attentive and have not changed that much since we started coming quite a few years ago. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. If you are lucky you can get a table with a sea view even being one street back from the main promenade. They now take debit card which was a bit of a pain remembering cash in the early days.

Excellent service, delicious fish and chips. We wanted fish and chips but arrived at the café just before they were closing, the staff were great, served us and gave us extra chips! If you're in Blackpool and want great tasting food I'd definitely recommend this place.
