Absolutely tip-top experience! One of Blackpool’s little gems. Our servers were excellent, really knew the menu and worked with for the best experience. The food was just perfect, we had scallops starter which was cooked and presented to perfection. The main event was just sublime! As expected and so much more. Cannot wait to visit again…….advice to others…….visit!!

Stone grill is a great place for the best steaks in Blackpool! It’s busy and the atmosphere is great for a night out as a couple or more! Food is delivered as requested and sides ordered are as expected! Staff are attentive and helpful particularly Ben, Ian, Alfie and Loretta ! This restaurant has been on a journey over the last couple of years! My thoughts are they have listened and they are delivering! Beautiful clean restaurant with a lot of character we love it!

We went to the Stone Grill and I wasn’t feeling too well so I could only manage a starter. However my husband had the meat platter and said that it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress Liv was helpful bubbly and made the evening more special with her smiling face. This was our third visit and we will definitely be back.

Visited this restaurant on 5th Oct 2024, with friends and it was the best steak l have ever tasted. Highly recommended , everything about the meal was excellent!

Really warm welcome from the two ladies who seated us and took our order. The food was really tasty and the restaurant has a fantastic fireplace. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We really like your restaurant and have eaten here a few times. We waited a long time. However, while waiting for so long, we still haven't received any response from you like how long should we wait? Or how many minutes will the dish take? Even my friend had to ask repeatedly how long we had to wait. However, I feel like the staff's service attitude doesn't respect us, so l feel very disrespected and racist.

If you like steak, you will love The Stone Grill. Meat, meat and more meat. I got the 16oz with the 4 cuts of meat, I should have ordered double. The chunky chips are awesome. Only thing to be wary of is that you need to know how to cook steak the way you like it as you have that responsibility. If you want someone else to cook your steak to perfection then this might not be the place for you.

We have been previously to Stone Grill prior to the new ownership. We are local and want to support any local restaurants. We did have a meal in August and it was ok. Obviously décor changed which is beautiful and relaxing. We absolutely love the bar area with the piano as you go in. Work was being done outside on the ramp to make it more accessible for anyone who is disabled and was cordoned off. We ordered drinks and took them to our table. Staff very helpful and pleasant. We ordered the exotic meats. I can’t say brilliant, but we tried them. We have had the exotic meats before at the Stone Grill, but we would say they did not taste the same. We had some lovely cocktails and some lovely whiskeys. So the experience of our 1st visit of the new management was positive but the meal was just ok, I wouldn’t say brilliant. But, we decided to go again tonight ( 4 weeks later) and was totally disappointed. The ramp still not dealt with for access for disabled. We ordered starters which came over cooked and greasy in oil. One of the meats we had you couldn’t get your knife through, and definitely couldn’t even chew it. The chips were over cooked and sent back and the next lot came exactly the same. We were so looking forward to this meal out. But was so disappointed.

The food was packed sideways and the burger was a mess when it arrived. No cream with dessert. Chicken goujons were greasy and not pleasant. Absolutely not worth the money.

I can’t say much abt food as at the entrance a woman told me that they can’t serve us because they won’t accept family with young children.. She don’t give much the reason a part of a stupid excuse that the food come hot to the table and that’s very dangerous for the kids, which I found ridiculous coz if you go to the restaurant you expect your food to be served hot! All I can say is that the customer service is 0.000000000000.. simply disappointing !

Myself and my husband both in our 60s had come for the day and to see the lights.We said we would go somewhere nice for an evening meal.when we went in to get a table the gentleman said how old is your grandson we said 8 and he then said no one under 14 was allowed,we said if that's the policy ok but could our grandson please use the toilet before we leave.He said now,I asked surely you cannot refuse someone to use the toilet.He said yes.I feel so disappointed that a nice place is unable to respect a nice family that just wanted to book a nice meal and on telling us know to also refuse letting us not even use a toilet for an 8 year old.x Sue 30,08,24

Wonderful service from a friendly staff .

This review is based on me being disabled and I always include access in my reviews. I have broken my review down into sections: Accessibility, Food, Service and Atmosphere. Booked for 5 people. Accessibility Section: I am disabled and my aunty who is 93 needs to use a small pedestrian mobility scooter as she can hardly walk. It stated it was wheelchair friendly so thought great. We arrived and the partially completed ramp was blocked off. With my auntie unable to walk that far we used the ramp anyway as there was no other obvious wheelchair entrance. Apparently there is a side entrance but we were not told about it at all even whilst leaving. Once inside we were told we couldn’t bring a pedestrian type mobility scooter into the premises. I asked why, the manager said they didn’t have insurance for motorised vehicles. To me this is a breach of the Equality Act as insurance would be a reasonable adjustment. It’s no different to a motorised wheelchair, so I’m perplexed as to how can they therefore claim they are wheelchair friendly? I went to use the disabled toilet, but it was locked and I had to ask for it to be opened. This toilet again didn’t have a bin or sanitary bin. This was an issue for me who has Crohns Disease and needed to use such item. They did say it was occupied and not locked, so I stated I was concerned someone might have fallen. They did then unlock the toilet, and nobody was using it. Accessibility is a big issue for me and others like me. We should have the same access to services as anybody else but here it fell short. Food and Service: We were never asked if we’d like another drink, in fact we felt quite as if we were an inconvenience seeing as we’d complained about the accessibility issue. My 93 year old auntie only eats plain food. She fancied a beef burger but not on a bun, no salad and would have liked some mushy peas which they served with fish and chips. We asked if she could have peas, like they served with fish and chips, and told “peas??? No you can’t have a portion of peas”. The server said it very abruptly and in a condescending manner. I explained why but was still told no. So we ordered a portion of seasonal vegetables for her. These came and were so unappealing they never got touched. Her burger was burnt. We told the server who just said “thank you for that” but did nothing. My mum ordered a 16oz steak and could not cook it well done on the stone as it didn’t fit. Plus the mushrooms etc were cold. Again told server who did offer to replace it, but we’d still have the same issue. I gave my mum half of my smaller steak. The 8oz sirloin was lovely. Atmosphere: Where we were sat was extremely dark, when we asked if they could turn on the light we were told they had a known technical issue and couldn’t and so had to sit in very dim light. The photo showing this is lighter due to my iPhone taking good pictures in low light levels. But seeing as it was a known technical issue, maybe they should have supplied another source of lighting, especially when you have to cook your own food at your table. I was told we were only seated there due to being late, which we were, but I did phone to say we would be due to the pre booked disabled taxi not turning up. I was told not to worry. The restaurant wasn’t full anyway. I had booked the table days in advance too, so why move us (supposedly) seeing as I did phone to say we were definitely going and explained my situation (we couldn’t just get any taxi due to the mobility scooter and 5 of us). It was just a terrible experience, and the food was ok. I’m not one normally for leaving bad reviews, everyone can make a mistake but it the whole evening was one mistake after another. Starters were nice, 8oz sirloin was lovely, 16oz couldn’t cook ourselves how we wanted it (well done), drinks ok too… that’s all I can think to say.

Steaks are beautiful..... sharing starters a little disappointing, but steaks make up for it!

Worst meal ever I had in Blackpool. Steak was very cheap cut for what you pay for. Got 3 big steaks at the butchers very good qualityfir the price for one cheap steak which is overpriced as I had to cooked it by yourself. Staff never came to see if the meal was okay and back of kitchen was pot washers cooking your chips and peppercorn sauce very bland as I have worked and served in high up establishment Don't think staff can take complaints as they are not very trained. One doing all the work, one just seeing guest to the table and the other just stands there waiting to see if you have finished I won't recommend it to anyone..

Amazing steak, served on a volcanic stone, so you finish cooking it yourself. I'd never done this before and the staff were very friendly explaining the process. All the food was excellent, prices reasonable for the quality, and service was superb. Lorella (Loretta?), we will see you next year when we're back for the next Trek convention!

This place is simply on another level. The steaks are amazing, and being able to cook them on your own slab of volcanic rock just adds to the experience. Just as with the steaks, the burgers are among the absolute best I've ever had. Thick and juicy but wonderfully seared on the outside to keep in juices in. I could not fault this in any way. Next time I'm back in Fleetwood, I'll be back here without hesitation!

First time here, loretta showed us what to do with the steak and came and checked on us. The starters were delicious and the steaks were phenomenal. Service was fab

The food was absoloutly amazing. could not fault the flavour or quality one bit! we do miss the fancy cardboard boxes you used to have for burgers but that's just us. it doesn't change the flavour! also we called before hand just to check an adjustment with our order and the male staff member we spoke to on the phone was extremely polite, friendly and genuinely nice. Will deffinatly be returning again!

A mixed review. Burgers, sweet potato fries and onion rings were good, skinny fries were awful, dry, didn’t taste as if they’d just been fried. Not worth £59 for 3 burger meals. Delivered on time but the driver never said a word, despite tipping him in advance, too busy on his phone.

We came to Blackpool for the weekend and we were fortunate to come across this absolute gem of a place. On arrival we were shown to our table and asked if we had been there before? We explained we hadn't so the lovely waitress explained how the menus worked. If we had the steak it would come on a hot lava stone and we would cook it ourself. To be truthful I wasn't all that keen on this but since I hadn't tried anything like this before I was willing to give it a go!! The experience was absolutely brilliant!! I got the 12oz rib eye and I was able to cook my whole steak on the lava stone till I finished. My whole experience from start to finish was 10/10 The food was fantastic The décor was very tasteful The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend the stone grill

How do I even put into words how incredible this place is?!! The decor, the staff, the menu, the food, the experience, everything is absolutely perfect. We both had the 12oz ribeye and some sides and we both demolished the lot. Although the prices may appear a little high on the surface, we paid £85 all in for our meals and drinks, which is actually amazing for a fabulous date night with unbelievable food. Highly recommend and we hope to be back soon!

Food was beautiful I had 35oz Tomahawk steak. The wife and daughter had ribs due to no lamb or chicken which was quite disappointing Otherwise staff were very welcoming and friendly Absolutely brilliant service lovely food. Will be re visiting Just hope rack of lamb in stock. Thankyou to all the amazing staff.

First time there steak was very nice we all had steak staff was nice and pleasant will go back again when I go back to Blackpool it was my partner birthday dinner would recommend it.

From our greeting when we arrived until we left - everything was perfect ( I’m v particular) The hosts were lovely and advised us how to cook our steak on our stones- The meat was perfect- as were the sides, starters, desserts and drinks- will definitely be returning - it was a superb evening out in a wet February evening - Thankyou v much

Absolutely love this place. Cooking your own steak to perfection. The setting is lovely and relaxing. You don't feel rushed and the staff are very friendly. And a bonus it's half price on a Wednesday. Can't recommend highly enough.

One of those that you’ve always meant to try but never got round to it. Finally got my chance tonight with the bonus of it being 50% off selected dishes on a Wednesday. Had to go for the 35oz Tomahawk for myself and the 12oz Meat Platter and Fillet strips for the other two. Left nothing but bone. What a great first time and the staff made it an enjoyable experience. Definitely be going back.

Food was wrong. Got our bill wrong. Managers had a terrible attitude. Won’t be going back obviously, don’t think anyone else should bother. Ordered a 16oz steak, got two 8oz but had to still pay for the 16oz which was more expensive than just getting two 8oz with sides etc. One of the things that comes with the steaks is one flat mushroom. We were given one butter mushroom (about 1/6th the size of a flat). Absolutely pitiful. Not to mention the wait time for someone to come over and take plates away, bring out desserts etc. I understand it can take a while for hot food to be cooked but why am I waiting 20mins tea for an ice cream that you get wrong anyway?

My birthday meal. It was a treat for me, we dont usually spend a lot on meals out. I was not dissapointed. Absolutely beautiful. Every aspect of our visit was perfect. Service was top notch, I think our server was called Ben with brown hair but not positive. It became extremely busy from 630 so we were glad we booked early (530) so we could see it both quiet and busy. All the food was impecable, could not fault it. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. I dont walk well and our server even checked I was ok when I went to the toilet, which was so kind considering how busy he was. Just a quick nod to ask I was ok. I ordered the mushrooms to start which tasted gorgeous, then the sirloin steak with scollops and chunky chips, peppercorn sauce. Meat was so tender! Melts in the mouth. Partner had halloumi to start, tasty! And the tomohawk steak which was meant to be 35oz but our server said we actually ended up with a 40oz and it was £10 off tonight wow! So tasty and was so good having that option to cook it further if needed on the hot stone. It says online that eating food cooked on the hot stones can bring calm and tranquility, and we really believe this to be true. We felt so good all night. Usually eating this amount of food we come away feeling over full and ready for bed. We felt so good, we even went to the showboat after for a few drinks, usually I would be ready for home after a big meal. The dessert was delicious. Creme brulee and partner got a cheese board. The only thing I would say is that the table for 2 could have a bit more space on it because I did get a few spits of butter on my arm from when I was cooking my steak on the stone. To be expected, but could be avoided if table was bigger for all items required on the table. Such a good night and we will definately be returning and recommending this place to everyone. Was absolutely dying for some lobster what a shame so disappointed more stuck in my teeth than i ate i would change your Supplier the Staff was lovely but i was starving when i got home good job i didnt have far to go had a bar of Cadburys whole nut and a cup of tea haha

When your nearly paying £250 between 4 of you I would expect the food to be top notch but not on this occasion the starters and mains were both average and meat tasted cheap might of been an off occasion for the chef but for what you pay the portion sizes are tiny unfortunately I won’t be returning and I’ll stick to miller+cater for a steak next time.

I went with my wife for valentines they were advertising a free glass of prosecco on arrival we never received it when we received our bill it was wrong they had to give us a 32 pound refund but did not explain why the bill was so high I was quite shifty about it, the food was ok or having to cook your own steak on a stone was not my cup of tea. and we won't be going back there again

Adam and Emily looked after 5 of us on a Friday evening and we had a fantastic experience. The food was amazing, quick, fresh and tasty. Both Adam and Emily made it fun and they explained how everything worked!

Beautifully decorated, superb menu and very friendly, attentive staff. The menu was excellent and the quality of the meat was excellent…better than Goucho and other high-end London restaurants. Cocktails menu was good and the service was the best I’ve had for a long time. Only negative is they should consider putting spinach on the menu. Other than that…perfect!

Absolutely amazing food and service

Thought the food was lovely. And our waiter, Emily, she was really friendly and welcoming and was approachable if we needed anything. She was brilliant and so was the food.

Had a sneaky visit at 4pm on a Sunday. Little did we know the menu was almost all half price! Had a great meal of fillet steak strips, which came raw and I cooked them to my liking on the hot stone. Also had 9 king prawns that came raw too. Great way to eat steak as I love it blue. Over cooking steak is up to you as you can have it however you want it on the hot stone. Will definitely go again.

Lovely atmosphere, welcoming and friendly. Food was wonderful and the service was just right, no hoovering over you, but there when you needed them. We will be back soon

Stumbled across the stone grill by accident after our reservation got cancelled at another restaurant, and we're so glad we did. The whole experience was amazing. The food was excellent for both the meat eaters in the family as well as a vegetarian. The atmosphere was welcoming and cosy, and the majority (with the exception of one waitress) of staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again when we're nearby.
