Little Sea Fish Bar in West Dorset

Fish was lovely however the chips were very dry and crunchy. They were cold by the time I walked 2 minutes back to my caravan. On the plus side sachets of sauce were free!

I did not want to leave a bad review but the food really was not worth paying for and it was quite pricey . We just ordered a few kids meals to share and they were not great . the chips were very dry we found and we had mini cod bites and they were just had very soggy batter it did not taste great at all .

Whilst the fish bites and chicken nuggets were cooked well, the chips we had were soggy and undercooked. A bit disappointing, especially for the price. The free sauce packets were a nice bonus though!

Oh dear.. best avoided.Perhaps the worst attempt at fish and chips I've ever eaten.Large haddock and chips x 2 ended up as two half burnt bits of cardboard.. had to be the thinnest fillets ever dipped in old batter and fried too long in fat that was too hot and brown from age/burn. By the time we opened the packets the pieces were sat in a pool of brown oil which spilt all over us and the chips were as tough as leather.Have never eaten worse and hope never to again..we ended up throwing it away despite the price we paid.

We are owners at the park and have used the fish shop regularly which we have always found to be great for fish and chips. Was not keen on the chicken, too greasy. Price same as anywhere.

Whilst stopping at the Holiday Park me and my partner decided to go this establishment on the first night of our stay, it was our first and last visit to this horrific place, We ordered a large Meat Feast Pizza and some chips, the chips were so greasy and the pizza was the worst I have ever had. The cheese on the pizza had not even melted and there was hardly any topping, after throwing the food into the bin I decided to phone up and complain and the owner of the place was so arrogant and obnoxious and blamed his supplier for my terrible pizza, I informed him that he made the pizza and not his supplier but he was having none of it, he refused to take the blame and was extremely rude in his response, people that run establishment's like this should not be in businesses, A CON MAN

went here as was staying at little sea holiday park and wanted an easy meal for our 1st night. was also cheaper then the chip shop onsite although still a bit pricey.lady was friendly throughout and seemed on top of things even though they were busy. ordered fish sausage and chicken burgers with large chips which were went down well with the family

Paid 20 pound for what would be 17 at the chippy near our house. Tiny bits of fish, half of which went uneaten, due to the amount of grease on them. Didn't matter what you were eating - chips, fish, sausage - they all tasted the same - grease so most of it went in the bin.

Great choices, standard fare, reasonable prices, pleasant staff servery. So whether you want Fish & Chips, Pizza or what ever - try it.

We visited here as just outside holiday park we were staying at.We were the only customers when we went in and everything was made from scratch.Prices here are definitely higher than normal and portions also smaller than normal.A large portion of chips is literally on a tray and does two people, we're not big eaters but expected more than that especially for £2.90.The Fish was £5.20 for large, again pricey but food was very tasty and all the family enjoyed

We arrived at the adjacent site late on a Friday night so we opted for fish & chips, as this one was the nearest we thought we would give them a try. We were not at all disappointed, the fish was cooked perfectly as were the chips which made it a really enjoyable meal. With friendly smiling staff at the counter who welcome you, what more could you wish for. Thank you, we will be back.

Drive down to this place to grab some food for the family. Overpriced, greasy and a waste of money as not one member of our trip (5) ate theirs. If we weren't travelling 120 miles home the next day I would have gone back to complain. Live and learn.

A nice friendly chippy just outside the Haven park unfortunately I feel they are trying to jump on the finance tails of being able to inflate their prices to coincide with the holiday parks. As 10 mins down the road, the chippy is at least 40% cheaper. Saying that it was lovely food but you may as well walk a little further for the same quality but cheaper.

This is situated at the end of an industrial estate, on the road leading into Littlesea Holiday Park. We drove straight past it on the way in, we drove past it twice more, heading into Weymouth etc. for food. We nearly missed out on this little gem - my wife said she wanted fish and chips for lunch, so we stopped there on the way back to the park. Ignoring the fact that my wife came out clutching chips and a Pukka Pie (!!!) my fish was absolutely perfectly cooked and clearly very, very fresh. The batter was very light and crisp, as were the chips - no grease, no soggy bits either!

Ordered fish & chips, which was cooked to perfection. Chips were fresh and the cod was so tasty, not greasy. Staff were really friendly and the shop was clean and tidy, glad to see it was awarded 5 stars. Will definitely go back again.

£28 for 2 fish & chips and 2 kids meals. The owner even has a copy of the haven site chip shop to justify his prices. Food was poor quality and very greasy. Staff rude when querying the price. Dont use.

This chip shop is just outside the entrance to Littlesea Holiday park and offers freshly cooked food, you might wait a bit longer but its worth the wait. Been using this chip shop for years.

me and the husband decided to eat here as it was close to our caravan at the little sea haven site. it was empty which always gives you that feeling they arent very good lol but we needed food after a long day fishing. we ordered cod and chips and 3 lots of battered sausage and chips. they were lovely really tasty cooked just right. the fish bar itself was very clean and the staff were very friendly and chatty . def recommend this place

Ordered a large cod and chips here and received the smallest fish possible surrounded in batter possibly over coated to make it look big. But that's not the end the chips were stale re-fried from the day before or possibly even last weeks. Worst fish...

4 fish n chips 31 pound...fish looked large but was mainly greasy batter...chips frozen type.....waste of money

Nice chips , poor everything else, how hard is it? There used to be a time when if you bought fish and chips down the coast it was guaranteed to be spot on. Not anymore. Poor and expensive .

We both had fish and chips and they were really nice, the staff were very friendly and very helpful when asked about the area.

At the entrance to Littlesea Holiday Park so still hot when you get back to the caravan. Good portions and much cheaper than on the site.

Visited this fish and chip shop twice while on holiday. Both times the meal deals went down a treat. Staff very polite. food very nice.

I was expecting this place to be nice not sure why the chips were ok to be fair but sausage tasted awful, reli would not recommend visiting here.

We arrived mid evening to the caravan site we were staying in. This chip shop was near by. We ordered our fish and chips had to wait for the items to be cooked. The food was lovely and fresh. The chips were lovey. The fish was nice but it was quite small and the batter was rather greasy. The mushy peas were nice.

The fish & chips from here were very good, freshly cooked so you can expect a little wait. Also remember to check opening times as its not open all the time

Personally, we prefered the chips at home as we like them to have the 'chip shop' scent of too much salt and vinegar, but I'm sure had we have tried it the COD would have been lovely, it looked it! The staff are also very polite, the blonde lady on the front was very kind and helpful, making sure we were all okay, praise to her! And the gentleman working was also very kind and wasn't afraid to ask how our food was and even gave us gravy on the house as (in his opinion not ours!) it took a little too long, though we were just as happy. Thankyou!

We ordered a large piece of Cod, large Chips, Carton of Curry, and a Carton of Mushy Peas. The price was £10.90 which is extortionate and there was barely enough for 1 person let alone 2 people to share. We will definitely be avoiding here in the future.

Apsolutely disgusting, generally the worst take away ive had. Certainly not worth their prices. Yuck!!!!!

Cold food, rude owner and uncooked chips. Did not think it was possible to get a simple thing like fish and chips wrong in so many ways. Unless the alternative is starving to death I would advice you to avoid this place!

You can phone up and order, then collect which I like, although they don't deliver. Not greasy at all, nice quality-price balance. Prices are a little above average (based on my experience) but only by pennies- I think a large chips was something like £3.

You don't mind waiting a bit when you know you're going to get great tasting freshly cooked food.For those staying at Littlesea Holiday Park orders can be telephoned through, so you know it'll be ready when you go to pick it up. Personally I didn't mind waiting as the staff on the quiet night that we visited were friendly and cheerful. This usually busy little chippy is rated with the top. 5 stars and it's simple to see why once you taste their wonderful fayre.

Tucked away at the end of lynch lane this lovely little chip shop is a find. Food good, service good, prices good. What more can you ask of it.

Always good food, never any complaints, food always hot and quick service. The staff although was not busy could of been more communicative but was not in polite at all.
