The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

Very disappointed by this restaurant that had been recommended to us. First negative : there is an unavoidable supplement on the main dish The set menu price is listed as £85 but minimum supplement per fish for the main was £52 Second negative : you have to wait about 30 minutes between each course. When you book your table you have no choice for the time, they ask you to come at 7pm sharp and they warn you that they won't keep your table for more than 5 min ! But then they leave you waiting for 30 minutes for the first course and each following course takes another 30 mins to arrive. So when your main course arrives after 3h30min you are obviously not hungry anymore and are not able to enjoy the meal you paid the extra money for… We ended up finishing the meal at 11pm so 4 hours after we arrived. The food was good and the waitress were lovely, but the long waits between each course destroyed the entire experience. We also found it quite inconvenient as a group of five, that most courses came in plates to share. After waiting for so long, we would have appreciated to have one plate each. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

My partner loved the food and thought it was delicious. I however, got nasty food poisoning which was not worth it tasting nice. So take that as you will.

Definitely worth the wait tho. The best.

Pay day meal disappointing.... not same at all.. dry preprepared hard meat in salt and chilli, wish was same as before :(

Last evening I had the pleasure of going along to this wonderful little restaurant for a hands on cookery class. From the minute I enquired about it to leaving with my not one, but two batches of cinnamon buns (sweet and savoury) it was superb service.Chef Joni made each and everyone welcome, lovely wine on the house and his teaching and helpfulness were second to none. My efforts would not compare to his but everyone was praised. He got a well deserved round of 👏 ! Next month is a pasta class and I have already my name down for it. I went this morning to buy some fresh bread from the bistro and both Joni and Erica were there welcoming folk. Service such as this is long hours of hard work and they rightly deserve any support they get. I whole heartedly recommend this Bistro to anyone.

I love this quirky place, always pop in every time we are in Keswick on our holiday. Cakes are amazing ! Always welcomed with our dog, a special little gem in Keswick. The owner is great, loved our chat, so friendly.

The shop has best and freshest fish anywhere. The seafood bar is superb. Some of the best shellfish ever. Very casual - disposable plates etc - but a very well organised operation. Can get very crowded on sunny weekends, which can slow up the service a bit. But worth a wait

This place does the best fish and chips ever. Not at all greasey and so delicious. I can't rate it highly enough. And super friendly staff.

Continues to exceed expectations. Came for lunch today. Exceptional food across a lunch service. All elements of each dish were executed to perfection. Mature complex dishes that were perfectly paired with the wine flight. Rose bubbles with hollandaise foam = bubbles on bubbles. Service was impeccable, wife had to leave mid service and the staff gladly boxed up her dessert. Excellent value for money for what you are getting. How do you cook the 1kg skate skirt I bought on the way out? 😬
