I love this quirky place, always pop in every time we are in Keswick on our holiday. Cakes are amazing ! Always welcomed with our dog, a special little gem in Keswick. The owner is great, loved our chat, so friendly.

It certainly has changed since the original owner, unfortunately we were not impressed, food was a bit bland and greeting was a little over the top

Popped into my favourite Keswick cafe in Keswick with a friend. As usual lovely welcome, such a friendly relaxing place serving delicious cake, drinks.

The only thing warmer than the lovely scones was the welcome! A lovely soup of the day (butternut squash) and excellent prices and vibe.

Loved visiting today, Mrs F was an absolute breath of fresh air... So lovely and welcoming... We had a cheese and chorizo toastie.... Cheese scone and apple cake with coffee and hot chocolate...all of it was beautiful... Homemade and just sooo tasty..loved the quirky atmosphere and people...felt comfortable and welcomed. There were a few awkward customers in whilst we were there but she was so lovely with them.. and kept calm...so impressed...will definitely be back xx wish we lived tad nearer x

The warmest welcome in from the storm! Incredibly friendly, you’ll feel like you’re visiting family for lunch. We had the most homely soup and cheese toasties- just what we needed to warm us up before another day of beautiful Keswick rain! A 10/10 experience (made even better by the free mince pies!) Lovely place. Very cosy sitting by the fire on a cold December afternoon drinking hot chocolate and eating tasty pies with my husband and 2 mini schnauzers. The lovely owner was so kind and welcomed us warmly with the dogs. We didn't want to leave and could have sat all day chatting to the owner. Thank you for your hospitality.

Like sitting in a friend's sitting room, so homely, relaxed and welcoming. Great home made scones (with clotted cream and jam, obvs), best and freshest I've had in years. Run by a lovely woman, it actually felt like we were leaving a friend's place when we left :-)) Next time in Keswick we'll be back to sample the pies!

After a damp and drizzly walk from Braithwaite we popped into Mrs Fs. The best carrot cake and chocolate fudge cake we've ever had. Great coffee. Mrs F is just lovely too.

We were so glad that we chose Mrs F's Food Emporium when we wanted a coffee and snack. On entering this quirky tearoom (just like your Nan's parlour} you are greeted warmly by Mrs F who is a brilliant host. It was the best coffee and the most delicious scone served warm and cream that I have ever tasted. Freshly made by Mrs F that morning. The handmade pies are delicious too. Hope to visit again next year. please keep baking those scones Mrs F. Highly recommended.

Mrs F's fine food emporium is strange to say the least and definitely not for all. The cafe itself is very quirky and old timely. When I entered and sat down I felt as though I had fallen down a rabbit hole, and before I knew it the mad hatter was serving me tea and scones. The jam and cream scone was one of the best scones I had ever tasted and highly recommend. The owner is very different and definitely marches to the beat of her own drum, if people don't like conversation and are looking for fast service, this isn't the place for you. It was rather busy when we came in and service took a little longer but that's expected when there are only two members of staff on. My only criticism is that I constantly overhead the owner speaking poorly to the man working in the kitchen who looked like he was trying his best, he was really smiley and friendly too when clearing our tables so big thumbs up to him :)

Pies, soup and scone all incredible. Best cafe we've been to in years! Owner is really friendly too, we'll definitely be back!

2 weeks ago we went to Mrs F and we loved the relaxed atmosphere. Simone is a wonderful host. We had a nice talk together and we enjoyed the best scone we have ever eaten . Thank you , Simone, hope to see you again.

If you find yourself in Cumbria don’t leave without visiting Mrs F’s. Keswick’s one and only food emporium is unlike any coffee shop you may have visited before. You won’t find fancy food and pretentious drinks but you will find a truly warm welcome, a selection of homemade, wholesome and sole warming food and hot drinks served with infectious joy. Going to Mrs F’s is like visiting your favourite, slightly mad, eclectic auntie. My soaking wet German Shepard Dog was welcome and I left happy with a full belly.

This place is a hoot, owner is lovely and the scones, cakes etc are excellent. Decent pot of tea. Interesting, eclectic surroundings. Genuinely dog friendly. Worth a visit.

Fantastic place, mad as a box of frogs. Very quirky with delicious homemade food and freshly squeezed apple juice. Highly recommend.

Stopped off in Mrs F’s cafe in Keswick today. Absolutely brilliant. If you are looking for a good cup of tea or coffee and exceptional cake and food then this is the place to go. The cafe is a quirky mix of mismatched furniture that makes you feel that you are in someone’s living room. The welcome you get from Simone is second to none and the energy and atmosphere is warm and comforting. The banter you get from Simone and the other customers will have you in stitches! All in all, it’s more than a cafe, it’s an experience that you simply must have. We will be back!

A delightful quirky cafe with the most friendly atmosphere. I was looking for a veggie option and found this in Mrs F’s Emporium! I had the most gorgeous hearty portion of butternut squash soup with a side of toast, hubby had a mince pie and carrot cake all homemade with a portion of love.. we ordered tea for 2 a big teapot came (please let it mass!) and we were set for an hour taking in the ambience. Well will be back!

My sister and I went for lunch and decided on toasties and tea. We expected something special but the toasties were made from standard sliced bread and tasteless cheese and the tea was really weak. Extremely expensive for what we got.
