The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

A very welcome find when not much else was open on a wet post- Christmas morning. The menu looked interesting and delicious although we were only there for a coffee which was excellent! A nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

Booked in advance for a party of 12. No advanced orders required, which was good. The system they have is you have to go to the bar and order. So, when there are 6 couples placing 6 orders. The food doesnt then come out together and some people had finished eating before others had received their food. The chicken on my salad was dry and overcooked. My wife ordered jacket potato but they had run out of them! There were chips and crayons all over the floor. The staff were reasonably pleasant and the views spectacular but those 2 plus points wouldnt be enough to tempt me back.

Los asientos son bastante básicos, pero sirven para su propósito. El café viene regular o grande. Grande es naturalmente más débil a menos que pague 70 p por una inyección extra. Entonces puedes conseguir una ganga en la tienda.

The service was terrible and the food was terrible. Not sure what else to say? Sorry wlas staff had obviously not had any training so may not be their fault.

Worst Chinese I have ever had the curry mild is like water my advise go somewhere else. My partners food her dish was full of oil. The beef is cheap and nasty

Really great fish and chips but the Korean food is outstanding - try the avacado and lime salad with spicy Korean chicken - really great. All the Poke bowls are fantastic

Terrible food, flavourless, often been sitting out for ages (well it tasted that way) Soggy cod Wouldn’t risk anything other than chips

Sent my kid to get a bag of chips...£4 for a ridiculously poor portion of chips. Absolutely shocking and as of today I will not be returning. It was literally the equivalent of 2 large potatoes... needless greed

Absolutely day light robbery £3.20 for inedible chips .......place could do with a good deep clean also .Will never return .

Have to say its great that Freds family are back running the shop. Had the best cod and chips 2 nights ago and enough chips for the 2 of us! Lovely chat whilst waiting for food to be cooked fresh. Will be a regular visitor again

Fabulous! We got a brilliant chicken kebab - one of the best I've had. Great sauce n salad too. Hubs got hslf pound cheese burger. Very tasty. Highly recommend. Thanks

if you like a good fish supper recommend a visit as freshly cooked and piping hot when got back to car 10 mins later

Totally disappointed! Our order was taken and payment was made, my husband had to wait for chips to be cooked, which wasn’t a problem. However, only his fish and chips were cooked. When he mentioned my order which was only chips and mushy peas, he was told he would have to cook more chips and they didn’t have any peas! He replay the peas for curry sauce. While the chips were cooking another wait, his order of fish and chips were kept in the container, still wrapped. After 10 minutes he received my order of chips and curry! Finally at the caravan my hubby’s fish batter was very soft due to having stood wrapped waiting for my chips! The batter had to be taken off as it had soaked the fat up by this time! My chips were un cooked and not edible! Would definitely not recommend whatsoever! Not at all accommodating and was not concerned about the fish batter going soft due to being wrapped

Nice little spot the sea food salads are great enjoy eating here everything is good nice lunch spot on Clacton pier if you like sea food

Given the benefit of the doubt since change of owner as formerly excellent. Fish always appearing light so weighed last nights 10-14oz cod & weighed in at 9 1/4 oz. Totally unacceptable! Prepping 4-6, 8-12 & 10-14oz portions should aim for centre point weight NOT MINIMUM! Wet fish cooked to order & batter wet & uncooked on inner side & whole thing dripping in grease. Given then 3-4 chances over past few months but won’t be returning now. Great shame as used to be best in this end of town. Sadly now best avoided, but then they are all same these days it seems. £9 for an undersized cod, then add portion of chips - compare that to a £12 Carvery at the local Toby with an overflowing plate & a full & happy belly - no contest!
