La Riviera Fish Bar in Fife

Ordered 2 large bags of chips and just about had a coronary when the assistant said that'll be £8 please. They were just average portions and not the best. This has to be the most expensive chippie in Fife and even beats the crap chippie in ST Andrews called Cromars. Can anyone beat £4 for a bag of run of the mill chips? Obviously, that will be my last visit and thought I'd warn others how expensive it is.

Had decent Fish & Chips here. Friendly folk behind the counter. Competent place. Nothing wrong at all.

Its actually a not bad place, they charged me £9 for £7.50 pizza, not happy but heyho,if they take the piss im not likely to go back

Good pizza, decent chips, but the pakora is amazing. Will definitely visit again when next in the area,

What can I say about this place. We get our food delivered from here. The munchie box is great (small is easily more than enough for two people). My favourite would probably be chicken pakora, although if they did the Chicken Tikka in the munchie box as individual I’d probably have that. It’s better than some local Indian restaurant’s Chicken Tikka if I’m honest. I’d fully recommend the delivery service. Ah, also a sausage supper is enough for two young children so it’s cheaper than buying two children’s sausage suppers.

I was looking forward to fish and chips when I visited La Riviera on 23rd December 2018. However I was very disappointed. The fish was overcooked, cold and the batter flat. For £6.50 I think fish should be cooked to order. It was apparent that this had been lying in the warmer. I only live a few minutes away but the supper was cold.

Our local carry out chippy - staff are very friendly - pizzas are delicious and chips very good - not greasy or fatty. Can see that the owner is a true Italian with the standard of the pizzas - whether he, or one of his sone, is making them.

Great quality and choice of food. The service and prices are brilliant. They also offer a delivery service.

Tried to charge me nearly 20 pound for a fish supper and a chicken supper got it cheaper in cowdenbe ath the guy who took my order sounded bored not really listening would not go there again

Im a regular visitor to this fish bar. The food is abit hit or miss but it is convenient for the people who live in kelty so its defo not 5* but passable if u fancy a chippy

owners and staff are the friendliest you'll ever find,Marek the fryer works his butt off to give you the best chippy grub going,owners son makes a mean pizza and kebab,staff go above and beyond to make sure you get your food exactly how you want it

the staff are very friendly but the fish is very greasy and leaves an aftertaste in your mouth. I won't be going back as it is quite expensive and not very good they could improve but they are always busy so why bother

This fish and chip shop is in every sense of the word 'mediocre'. It's ok if you go at the busy time, but thereafter the fish can be greasy and the chips a bit limp. The staff are excellent though - helpful and friendly.

This place is great. Unlike Aberdeen, when you ask for a fisher supper they give you TWO fish and the price is less. Service was friendly, couldn't fault anything

I really don't like what they cook their fish and chips there is always an after taste so won't be going back

Realmente no puedo quejarme de este chips normalmente en lo que yo, que es patatas fritas y pollo pakora. He probado una cena de pescado desde aquí y el pescado no fue la mejor. Mis gemelos como una cena de salchichas (una comida es suficiente para compartir entre ambos. Viene con 3 salchichas en pasta).

Cuando llegamos el q estaba en la acera, buena señal, ya debe de ser popular?

£5.80 para la cena de pescado. Este lugar suertes dependiendo de lo lleno que el pescado veces suma el encogimiento y frío. Suma suma personal amable.

Siempre usamos la Riviera cuando nos gusta cocinar una noche fuera ;0) encantador patatas fritas y sabrosas pizzas, kebabs, pescado, etc. Siempre lo recomendaría a cualquiera que preguntar dónde ir para el té "fish and chips" en la zona x

Chips and service excellent but why sell Vietnamese River Cobbler as Haddock? I will advise all to avoid that fish as its farmed in poor conditions and its not Haddock!

Quality and Price very reasonable.I have been going to this fish & chip shop for many years and i have enjoyed my meals.Service is very good and as deliveries.Friendly and efficient restaurant and would recommend to anyone.

posto unico,con il suo staf,tutti all avanguardia e massima serieta,da assaggiare la pizza,fatta a stile italiano,da provare tutto,dal fish and chips,dal wrap,kebab.un posto per soddisfare i propri gusti.

The easiest review i have ever written......the best spicy haggis supper i have had for years......Calzonni was incredably succulent....as for the pizza superb!! great place to stop for a takeaway dinner/supper. Excellent value as well.
