Totally disappointed! Our order was taken and payment was made, my husband had to wait for chips to be cooked, which wasn’t a problem. However, only his fish and chips were cooked. When he mentioned my order which was only chips and mushy peas, he was told he would have to cook more chips and they didn’t have any peas! He replay the peas for curry sauce. While the chips were cooking another wait, his order of fish and chips were kept in the container, still wrapped. After 10 minutes he received my order of chips and curry! Finally at the caravan my hubby’s fish batter was very soft due to having stood wrapped waiting for my chips! The batter had to be taken off as it had soaked the fat up by this time! My chips were un cooked and not edible! Would definitely not recommend whatsoever! Not at all accommodating and was not concerned about the fish batter going soft due to being wrapped

Now calked pizza Marmaris. Fantastic fish & chips. Old fashioned real chips. Beautiful crispy batter. Portions just right. Staff very friendly & helpful. I thoroughly recommend this place, especially after a great at the beach.

This chip shop has changed hands, it’s call Pizza Marmaris now, we ordered a large Cod that was neither large or Cod! The chips wasn’t cooked and hard. And it was expensive £10 for one, so save your money there are better chip shops in Aberystwyth a few miles further on.

This chippy is well worth a visit! Fish was massive and they serve proper chips. Everything about it was lovely, as were the staff.

Visited chip shop on way back to holiday accommodation after a day at the coast Chips were very nice & some of the chips were chunky almost borderline roasties The Battered sausage had a thin layer of batter on it and the sausage was almost black and tough to eat The Gravy was awful it was like someone had dipped an oxo cube in a bit of water ,runny and sour tasting ,the mushy peas weren't much better And then the fish for £7 you'd expect something half decent ,well half is about the best i can say I have seen more fillet on a mackerel than on that piece of cod ,batter was pale too ,the seagulls on our site got a quick snack Chips brill ,the rest not so

Not overly impressed with the chips. Think they had been reheated. There weren't any jumbo sausage left so they said they would give us two little ones instead. Unfortunately you can't check they have the order right as you can't be in the shop when they are bagging up (due to covid). Got the order home to discover only four little sausages instead of eight. Also felt a bit left out when the man in front had a right old conversation with the woman serving about his holiday...what he'd been up to and what his plans were. When it got to our turn she didn't seem interested in anything about us.

Lovely fish and perfect chips, large crispy fish and chips, wrapped in boxes and insulated bags , so easy to serve and keep warm, we will be back

Was so good we had to go back the next night 😎, fantastic fish and chip. But the real winner was the curry sauce hmmmm, was better than KFC gravy

Best chippy in the area. We’ve experienced rubbish fish and chips when visiting Borth but thought about trying this chippy in Bow Street. It’s worth the drive from Borth. Fantastic chips and excellent freshly cooked cod. Our daughter also really enjoyed (and completely finished) her chicken nuggets and chips.Staff are very friendly and the chippy was busy which is a good sign! We pre-ordered on the telephone which was a breeze. Very reasonable prices for quality food!! Just take note that they only take cash and no card.

Friendly and helpful couple running the chippy. very clean shop. I had Fish and chips, shortly after 16:30, the fish was tasty with a krispie golden batter, nicely cooked. the chips were crisp, moreish. generous portion at a good price

We visited this fish and chip shop on two occasions this week (Tues & Thurs), and we could not fault the service and quality at all. The food was great, can heartily recommend the cod roe, fish and chips and sausage. The couple who have taken the business over are extremely friendly and efficient. The shop is spotlessly clean, and the whole experience was a pleasure. We will definitely visit again when next in the area.

The food is atrocious! I prefer 2 fish, large chips and curry sauce. The better on the fish was disgusting, really oily and not thoroughly cooked. The fish was ok. The chips were the worst by far never have I been served chips like this, i'd personally be embarrassed to serve food at this standard! They were inedible, they were like rubber and must have been cooked multiple times before hand.

its brilliant you have t wait a short while for the fish and it is all cooked to order, the fish is gorgeous batter crispy and chips excellent, I eat there monthly well take away from there I mean it is really consistently good. Nice people as well

Had sausage and chips and curry sauce! Amazing chips, perfectly cooked. Brilliant service from the new owners. Curry was amazing! Will definitely be returning!

I have had fish and chips and sausage and chips from here twice since the new owners took over. The premises are immaculate and food cooked fresh to order. On each occasion the food has been lovely. I will be returning in the future.

Worst fish and chips ever, fish had soggy batter and unfortunately was mainly batter and what tasted like re heated chips on a plus side it looks very clean in restaurant. But when you spend over £8 you don't expect to go home and cook something to eat

I bought sausage chips and curry sauce earlier tonight.i did notice in the chippy the sasague looked a bit wierd but thought it might be a better type of sausage than the type sold in every other chippy around here,it wasn't,it was somehow more like a hotdog.i think it's only right i give this feedback so you can improve.the curry sauce was ok and the chips were undercooked.i will upload a photo for reference.im acctuly realy annoyed I ait the thing.can someone tell me why it looks like that?

Nice food all in all chips are at random to be either really greasy(but not a lot) or quite dry (not like a desert) but sometimes just right, staff are very talkative all in all a nice 1-10 minutes of your time to buy some chips
