Tachbrook fishbar and diner in Warwick

I've been going here for about 30 years now and always had good service and food. Tonight is the first time I've ever had shocking food from there and will never go back. Chicken kebab is full of bones, nearly chocked on it. Then all through the chicken are the spine with little bones in.... Not going again I'll stick to Valli's at least there's no bones

Thought we would try it out, very disappointed. Chips were dry and hard, obviously sitting there for a long time. They are not bothered about the quality of the food or returning business. Glad we did not order anything substantial.

Jusleen served us with a warm welcome she was exceedingly friendly and created a lovely experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our food which was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be going back again for more and experience the joyous staff. Many thanks!

Tasty food always. Love the fact that can ask on Fridays /Saturdays to fry chips or whatever in separate oil to meat products. Customer always super.

loads of choice and the foods spot on... kebabs are excellent... i moved out of town a couple of years ago... but this used to be my regular chippy....was back in town last night and thought i'd pay a visit ...was quite a treat... food was spot on

When exactly is the food cooked in here? Because it's definitely not cooked fresh or to order like many places in leamington. Ordered battered sausage, chips and a donner kebab. The sausage was awful, thick, chewy batter and slightly tepid in the middle which was a worry. Donner meat was very dry and also not hot. I'd like to say the chips were a redeeming feature but that would be a lie as some werent cooked enough and were slightly harder than they should. To top it off, the prices were far too high considering the quality of the produce. I think I'll give it a miss next time, stick to petes plaice (always hot, always fresh, cannot fault it at all!!)

Fish pakora is a must try I ordered over 40 fish in the week of my brothers wedding for guests and no one could believe it was bought from a chip shop. Try it yourself One guys phone manners aren’t the best if you are going to order but other than that no complaints

Best take away food in leamington or Warwick by far, plus great friendly service ✔️ Would highly recommend

Looked forward to a Sunday night family takeaway. Wish never bothered. Waited 40 mins... yes FORTY MINUTES to complete (just x3 fish and chips, 1 pie, 1 curry sauce and was £27). No apology and many people were served before us. Oh yeah and they don't take card payments... cards have been in use for over 50 years...so no excuse in 2017... one for HMRC to look into there I guess ;-/ Didn't get any better when we got home... fish VERY oily and not fresh... chips were just like little bits... My partner was ill straight after and she was sick. Suggest avoid or drive a bit further and go to Sealand where we've always had great service and proper fresh fish.

good atmosphere, can eat in, generally fast and good size meal for the price. A bit more taste in the food and I would give it 5/5.

Went to buy fish, chips and a sausage in batter on a Monday to take away. I think it must have been cooked on the Saturday before the fish was like rubber the chips were rubbery and the sausage was inedible. Not going back there again maybe I was unlucky because it looks real smart.

A local chippy rolling with the times. Everything you'd expect with a little more. Plus they have the little cans and of Cherry 🍒 Coke. Worth a visit. Great Value. :)

This is the finest fish and chips take away that you will ever eat. They also serve kebabs ( not my cup of tea ) but others love them, and also curry on Fridays. This food is truly superb as I would not waste my time reviewing a fish and chip shop if it was not.

Servicio muy deficiente, que sólo sirven a la internert frente de la primera cola sin prestar atención a lo que los clientes han estado esperando. Esperar 15 minutos (en un período muy tranquilo, así que no estoy seguro de lo que estaba pasando) y sólo me dijeron que la comida vegetariana, no estaba a la freidora cuando me habian dicho 15 minutos antes por teléfono de que era.

went in with hubby monday morning around 9.30am , quite quiet so was worried it wasnt going to be any good. The guy serving was great, he got our order right (I'm fussy about things cooked in butter etc) massive breakfast (mega breakfast) well cooked all hot nothing luke warm, 3 eggs 3 bacon toast, black pudding, beans, tomato mushrooms, 3 sausage massive. well cooked very filling don't need such a massive one next time . perfect breakfast

Nobody Serving and even then not a clue what's going on 20 minute wait with 1 person in front who was also bewildered, choose elsewhere.

Decent guys that run this place, that cook things well and always have a good choice of food available. Quality is good and isn't let down like some other places. Been going for years and not had one poor serving.

Went midweek and a lot of the options were not available?! Seems to be a little dirtier too? Not sure if the usual standards have slipped or staff are off. Please sort it out!

I was very hungry and wanted fish and chips. The meal was the worst I've ever had. The batter was thick and chewy and smelled of old socks. The best part was the can of coke. Yuk. I was left hungry and very disappointed

Food in this chippy is always fresh and tasty..staff is very friendly and helpful. .I'm so addicted I have stopped cooking at home..they got big menu..every time I try different. .just good. .thanks for being there for us..love this chippy..only asked for 5star..if I had a choice I would given you 7 or 8 stars..thanks again. .

Spoilt for food choice and always friendly service. I have never had a bad takeaway unlike other Chip Shops which are only walking distance from my house. Keep it up boys!

I ordered cod and large chips between me and my boyfriend, it was very tasty and fed both of us with lots left over! Was pretty cheap too!

I just had horrible chips from this place and the mushy peas tasted days old. Tims chipper is better or viallis

This is really good value for money & the menu choice Is great the diner isn't open yet but it looks like it will be soon !! The staff are really helpful as well

Diner side still not open, although live too close to eat in. Friendly staff, fast n efficient. Better since they have expanded there menu to include Jacket potatoes n Pizza
